I looked after a lady who stood up to the Krays, she was landlady of a pub on the Isle of Dogs, she stood 4'10" at the most, they came in to offer protection, she kicked them out, her kids had to be escorted to/from school by the police. I really admired her she never backed down from them x

It's possible that Francis had such a large headstone and surround, simply because years ago it was allowed. Nowadays most cemetarys/churchyards prefer the more simpler style. It varies from place to place. Thank you for this video Paul, x

when I was 2 yrs my parents used to visit their grandparents at Butlins Clacton on holiday ,they used to walk around the camp with me in tow ,one day a big burley màn swept me up ,and told my father to look after the gorgeous little girl ,my father then went on to tell me it was one of the kray twins, they were down their on holiday with their mum lol ,many yrs ago ,the camp has long gone ,alot of years later when I was in my twenties and worked in a care home for elderly, a much older gentleman visitor took a interest in me and kept asking me out to dinner ,apparently he had his own microlight company and lived in a huge house with his mother ,he turned out to be a very good friend of the krays and it was said the money he had was from the dodgy dealings with the krays ,hence to say ,I gave him a wide berth lol ,seems my life intertwined with them unintentionally ,I was a law abiding citizen ha ha !!
Pop down to Chingford from north herts about two or three times a year Paul, always pop in and put some flowers on Francis grave, her story from start to end really touched me, it was really heartbreaking especially for her mother Elsie, she tried so hard to get her daughters remains exhumed and re entered in the family plot, but they wouldn't have it. Reg pulled every trick in the book, and the Authorities gave in and he had his way, I think they were worried he was going to kick off in a big way.
I bet if Frances could choose where to be buried it wouldn't be next to the Krays knowing how she was treated, she also wanted to revert back to her maiden name. Apparently she was buried in her wedding dress as Reggie demanded, however her mother had the undertaker put a slip on her so less of her body was in contact with the hated dress.

We have 4 family graves in Chingford cemetery. I often wonder how did the Krays managed to get buried there as none apart from Charlie lived in the borough they all lived in Bethnal Green. I remember one of the twins funeral when they were driven down Bethnal Green road they whole area came to a standstill we had a shop in Bethnal Green road we were a few shops away from the Marquis of Cornwallis pub, I remember Mad Frankie Frazer opening our shop door and saying "Hello" I nearly passed out with shock they were having a wake in the pub. Yes they were gangsters, but I remember talking to a elderly lady who lived in Vallance road during the 60's she said she always felt safe with the "boys" about. (1995).
Love your videos Paul so peaceful and relaxing lovely escape from the madness around and screaming children not too informed about the krays I remember Barbara Windsor being a fan lovely head stones and gravestones thankyou Paul you are sweet xx
Thankyou Paul once again for an interesting video. The Krays, yes they will never be forgotton, but as we all know we are born, then we die, but it’s what happens in the middle that counts, so we must live each day being kind to one another. Thanks once again Paul, and may your wheels keep turning. 😊
Thank you for a good and interesting video. The Krays were hero worshipped when they were alive. Myself, I would say let the good Lord be their judge. Rest in Peace to the whole family.🙏❤️🙏
They were criminal gangsters who caused utmost pain and heatache for all their victims. Not heroes but glamourised by the media and the idiots who hung around them.God will judge them ,and it is eternal hell fire for them and their like. They were too stupid to realise that the law would catch up with them and put them away. And that is what happened. Hell is where they are now.
Hi there. My dad was buried in Chingford Mount, up on the top part about 150 yards from the church (you basically look over that way about 3:20 in. There is a memorial garden near the back wall for cremations close by. I didn’t know the Krays were buried there when I was younger, but in my early 20s (having not been there for a few years) I wandered around with my then girlfriend towards the eastern exit (intending to have a walk before starting our journey home) when we noticed some ‘types’ near a part of the cemetery I’d not been to before (having not had reason to I suppose). They were all well dressed but I was not going to make too much eye contact and we just carried on before turning into the park and getting the bus on the Ridgeway to the railway station. It was only then a couple of years after that when I ended up on another stroll that I was able to put two and two together because there was Frances Kray’s grave alongside a the more modest one for the mum and dad alongside. I wasn’t exactly that bothered about the Krays and knew little other than what was common knowledge, so it was the first time I’d seen something tangible to do with them (I admit I’d not even heard of Frances until that point 🤷🏻♂️). Obviously, within a few years Ronnie was interred as was Reg in 2000. Until the twins died there was almost always someone there tending the graves when I went but I’ve not seen someone at the grave that looks like one of the ‘types’ for a good long time now. They are still well maintained though of course 👍 Interesting stuff, though I do despair at some of the somewhat skewed, romanticised views some people have of them. But they were certainly of their time 🤔 Cheers 👍🍻🍀
I was visiting the krays graves, when we was leaving, the funeral of the 8 octuplets babies were being laid to rest. 8 adults each held a tiny white coffin, was heartbreaking to see.

Back when I was working in one of the pubs I use to work in a couple years ago, one of the krays side men came into the place I worked in and we ended up in having a fair few hours of chat about how they were and everything, quite a interesting pair
Many years ago l working as a Housing Benefit officer in Bristol, and was lucky enough to work along side a lady - who was very good at her job, but also had wonderfull, vivid memories of growing up in London as a child. Her parents had a public house in the East End at the same time as Reg and Ron had their 'buisnesses' etc. Her father died leaving her mother running the pub. Reg and Ron came into the pub to offer sympathies and asked her if ever she needed any kind of 'help' or the like just to let them know. Her mother was very gracious and excepted their sympathies, and declined there offer, which they in turn excepted. My work colleague at the time remembers thinking they were old fashioned gentlemen, with kind manners and left the pub graciously and didn't return again. So, there we go...and also l now am a post lady in Bristol and and like chat with my customers. A guy was a professional photographer.. freelance and for the big nationals. He taken alot of celebrities including the last ever photo of Reggie Kray when he had been released from prison, then from hospital and taken to a hotel in Norwich. And l politely asked the chap for a copy, which l have ... In a frame... On the lounge wall. So, yes being a chatty, friendly postie has its benefits. ☺️

I don't get why people put apostrophe 'S' in plurals as in 'VIDEO'S'. There is no apostrophe 's' in plurals in English. It's basic English not rocket science.
@@sharoncarter4086 Well you haven't. Apostrophe 'S' is used as a genitive as in 'the DOG'S tail'. You don't write '2 DOG'S '. It's '2 DOGS'. I know this because my English is impeccable and I learnt Latin in school which enhances logical thinking in language so that your writing is error free.
I saw Charlie Kray years ago in Croydon just stood on a corner. It was a bit blowey that day and he must have had the biggest comb over I have ever seen. The wind unravelled it from his head and it was flapping about like a windsock in a gale.

I walked through that cemetery the other day on the way from work at 7 am in the morning, it was all misty and very quiet with the sun not up yet I must’ve been crazy LOL. There are some beautiful graves and headstones in there.
I have watched the films about the krays," The krays " which i have on DVD and i have watched" legend", i enjoy watching them, i learnt a lot about the kray brothers through watching them.
The black wheelie bin head stone looks amazing . Brilliant channel ...the history the sites ... really well done ...every life has its ups and major downs..
My uncles ronnie and reggie were very much liked where ever they were proper gentlemen they would never harm women or kids if anyone would be in trouble my uncles and grandad Charlie would always be there anytime of the day.
Thx again for sharing Paul. I’d expect the majority of people would of definitely heard of the Krays. Tbh I thought they would of had much bigger grave stones. However the reason is probably because the plots had already been paid for, and they wanted to be buried next to their mother. They surely had massive respect and love for Violet. May they all R.I.P
@@UnusualThings1 You’re welcome Paul. I heard you say that you used to research the paranormal…. As I said Paul im 51 in a few days. I’ve expected the paranormal and supernatural since I was 7 years old, so have a deep knowledge about the spiritual realms, and the so, so many different entities that reside in and out of the 3rd dimension… I didn’t know why I was chosen to be put through so many encounters with different entities. I’m an Empath and sensitive, so I have always had experiences seeing them. I decided when I reached 43 ish that I was going to spiritually awaken myself, through deep meditation, breathing techniques, diet and drinking high PH Water.. Although my senses were heightened, I wanted to activate my (pineal gland 👁 3rd eye) So I could really see through the veil and see everything that is around us all…. And its definitely more than human souls trapped in this dimension or what people call demons 😈👽👺👹 You said you were into the paranormal Paul and obviously you researched the paranormal.. Did you have a channel mate, because some of these teams clearly have no knowledge about what they are really doing, but believe a spirit box or EMF DETECTOR.. I don’t mean you Paul, just some teams, and there’s many on TH-cam, where people take what they have said or believed was around them. With the majority just telling lies or faking evidence, 😂 you know everywhere they visit is the demon house or poltergeist house, no matter where they attend, they seem to have mad activity happening. However people who really understand, knows that it just doesn’t happen like that, or when people seem to amazingly have dancing kitchens, bedrooms etc.. The supernatural doesn’t work like that, but people believe it.. No one will be able to film demonic entities creating havoc on camera.. I’m sure you’re aware Paul that negative entities like 😈😈 are highly intelligent compared to us mere mortals….. Do you think you will get back into researching the paranormal/supernatural mate. Can I ask you what is the worst experiences you have been through. I feel that you wouldn’t fake activity and you would be very truthful about what you have experienced on an investigation.. Have you ever watched Tom & David ( Haunted Finders ) The other week they were in Sherwood Forest, but they didn’t seem to understand about the situation and what was around them.. I took many Screenshots Paul, but I don’t do Facebook or Instagram. Tom never gave me any email address to send them to. If he had, and because he’s extremely fearful, which isn’t a good thing when you dive deeply into the spiritual realms. I don’t think he could comprehend or accept exactly what entities were so close to them, because they couldn’t see 👁 what was clearly around them.. I said to him politely Paul, if you saw what pictures I’ve captured, I’d doubt he would go back to those woods 😄😄… But as I said, these entities have always been there and always will.. When I mentioned certain structures that cryptids build, many thought I was crazy… Far far from it, they just know how to cloak themselves or just turn back into energy ..( Orbs ) Sorry for the book Paul, and honestly I don’t think I’m better than anyone else whatsoever, because every single being can awaken themselves to see 👁 through the veil, by activating their 3rd eye 👁 so they can see into the higher dimensions. Love to see what places you went to.. Did you ever go to The Ancient Ram 🐏 Inn.. It’s haunted, but not as much as John would like people to believe, but may John R.I.P. He was a lovely guy and a good tour guide

when I was 2 yrs my parents used to visit their grandparents at Butlins Clacton on holiday ,they used to walk around the camp with me in tow ,one day a big burley màn swept me up ,and told my father to look after the gorgeous little girl ,my father then went on to tell me it was one of the kray twins, they were down their on holiday with their mum lol ,many yrs ago ,the camp has long gone ,alot of years later when I was in my twenties and worked in a care home for elderly, a much older gentleman visitor took a interest in me and kept asking me out to dinner ,apparently he had his own microlight company and lived in a huge house with his mother ,he turned out to be a very good friend of the krays and it was said the money he had was from the dodgy dealings with the krays ,hence to say ,I gave him a wide berth lol ,seems my life intertwined with them unintentionally ,I was a law abiding citizen ha ha !!
Frances' story also really touched me; she must have been so confused at such a young age.
I personally think she adored him but just couldn’t cope with him ! Love and hate are very close 😢
I enjoyed watching legend, it was a good story and unusual that Tom hardy played both the krays, and did a wonderful job
Same here I think Tom Hardy done an amazing job. Thank you for watching
@@UnusualThings1Martin and Garry kemps portrayal of the kray twins was excellent given ya a big head your a bit like Garry . The kemps are from Islington

Much appreciated! Thank you so much....
You have to be the most respectable you-tuber ever...thank you for your consideration & respect to the deceased
I used to live in East London and a taxi driver who I used had met them. Paul thanks for this.
I enjoy all your videos 👍 I'm sure the Krays are in a warmer place now !
Thanks for showing us this mate
another good video - the krays certainly were a couple of dangerous lads back in the day thats for sure..
They were the last of the prisoners in the Tower of London, when they went awol from the army, just found you, great videos

Sons that loved their mother - cant beat this.Nice one Paul
Thank you for a good and interesting video. The Krays were hero worshipped when they were alive. Myself, I would say let the good Lord be their judge. Rest in Peace to the whole family.🙏❤️🙏
Your right I'd love to go & see the graves one day , pay my respects to the boys .
Found this channel by accident and really like the videos, good work m8 and I subbed :)
They are still well maintained though of course 👍
Interesting stuff, though I do despair at some of the somewhat skewed, romanticised views some people have of them. But they were certainly of their time 🤔
Cheers 👍🍻🍀
Thank you for your comment Tim it’s very interesting and for watching the video too. 🙏
People love criminals even more now.

I was visiting the krays graves, when we was leaving, the funeral of the 8 octuplets babies were being laid to rest. 8 adults each held a tiny white coffin, was heartbreaking to see.

Being locked up at 35 years of age and never being in a pub / football match / watching tv in a home / shopping / spending Christmas with loved ones etcetcetc EVER AGAIN IS an ABSOLUTE WASTE OF LIFE .
RIP
Great vid . I thought their graves would be grander and more lavish affairs than they are.
I honestly expected the Kray twins gravestone to be a lot bigger than what it was. Very interesting channel.
Why ?
Good video upload nice graves proper detailed as well with pictures of them on them cheers Paul for going to find these graves and showing us and telling us about them r.i.p kray twins and rest of family there to great film as well got that to 👍

Great little video, glad you stayed respectful. Nicely done.
These video's are great Paul..never seen or knew where The Kray's were buried..and didn't know that Reggie's wife was there also..nice one Paul!
I don't get why people put apostrophe 'S' in plurals as in 'VIDEO'S'. There is no apostrophe 's' in plurals in English. It's basic English not rocket science.
Love the crow cawing, when you reached the graves - thank you once again for an interesting and informative video
Another great video, glad the Kray's are resting together. Always fascinating to watch your work 💜
No apostrophe 'S' in plurals. It's 'The Krays' not 'The Kray's'.
@@heiltd1286 I have written it correctly
@@sharoncarter4086 Well you haven't. Apostrophe 'S' is used as a genitive as in 'the DOG'S tail'. You don't write '2 DOG'S '. It's '2 DOGS'. I know this because my English is impeccable and I learnt Latin in school which enhances logical thinking in language so that your writing is error free.

I saw Charlie Kray years ago in Croydon just stood on a corner. It was a bit blowey that day and he must have had the biggest comb over I have ever seen. The wind unravelled it from his head and it was flapping about like a windsock in a gale.
Hahahaha...... Would have paid top dollar to see that one.

Im not too far from here as i live a bus ride away in Walthamstow. Will have to visit one day. Good work Paul. 👍
Thanks for watching. 🙏

You’re welcome Paul.
I heard you say that you used to research the paranormal….
As I said Paul im 51 in a few days.
I’ve expected the paranormal and supernatural since I was 7 years old, so have a deep knowledge about the spiritual realms, and the so, so many different entities that reside in and out of the 3rd dimension…
I didn’t know why I was chosen to be put through so many encounters with different entities.
I’m an Empath and sensitive, so I have always had experiences seeing them. I decided when I reached 43 ish that I was going to spiritually awaken myself, through deep meditation, breathing techniques, diet and drinking high PH Water..
Although my senses were heightened, I wanted to activate my (pineal gland 👁 3rd eye)
So I could really see through the veil and see everything that is around us all…. And its definitely more than human souls trapped in this dimension or what people call demons 😈👽👺👹
You said you were into the paranormal Paul and obviously you researched the paranormal..
Have you ever watched Tom & David
( Haunted Finders )
The other week they were in Sherwood Forest, but they didn’t seem to understand about the situation and what was around them..
When I mentioned certain structures that cryptids build, many thought I was crazy… Far far from it, they just know how to cloak themselves or just turn back into energy ..( Orbs )
Sorry for the book Paul, and honestly I don’t think I’m better than anyone else whatsoever, because every single being can awaken themselves to see 👁 through the veil, by activating their 3rd eye 👁 so they can see into the higher dimensions.
Love to see what places you went to..
Did you ever go to The Ancient Ram 🐏 Inn..
It’s haunted, but not as much as John would like people to believe, but may John R.I.P. He was a lovely guy and a good tour guide
Not a word about them preying on little boys, pair of paedophiles.
