Loved Barbara Windsor. Her girly giggle always made me smile. Yet what an incredible actress she was. I also salute her husband. Although many years younger, he loved, supported and cared for her to the end. RIP, Babs. Thank you for making our lives happier.

Went to Golders Green to pay my respects to Marc Bolan. A beautiful plaque is up on the wall for him and I also found where his ashes were buried along with his parents by a beautiful bench dedicated to him. Such a peaceful, serene place. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

The carry on films wouldn't have been the same without her she was made for those films.
The little history lesson you provide your audience with Paul, is what I love about your videos, you provide us with details about your subject that a large majority of us wouldn't have a clue about.
Thank you for travelling to these resting places and showing us some amazing places and telling us those amazing stories about the rich and famous.

Bar was another celebrity that I met during my time working in the Theatre Royal Windsor, I was on duty the night she was got for This Is Your Life, while she was appearing in a stage show called Music Hall (think along the lines of The Good Old Days). I did get a peck on the cheek from her and she did spend sometime speaking to everybody including little old me. The funny thing was, the hospital I used to work at was the outdoor scenes for Carry On Matron, small world isn't it.

Sad to read in the comments here that there are some people out there Paul who just don't get what you do. Personally, I think you are very professional, extremely likeable and very informative. Always respectful, with a touch of humour to lighten the subject & I think the majority of people on here who write to you and watch your channel really appreciate you going to great lengths to show the last resting place of their favourite celebrities or people who made a difference to their lives in some small way and recall their meetings and memories involving that person. Keep doing what you do. I always watch but don't often comment. Your viewer numbers and subscribers tell a different story from the odd one or two who disagree....x J x

May be do a special on Golders Green John Chiltern and Larry Adler just below her plaque. Two renowned jazz musicians. Adler played the music in Genevieve staring Kenneth More and Dinah Sheridan. Two more possible episodes. Great stuff again Paul. Thank you❤

Was going to mention Larry Adler, myself. I noticed that Paul mentioned Bernie Winters' plaque, next to it is the one commemorating 'Bud' Flanagan (of Flanagan & Allen - "Underneath the Arches" - fame). Flanagan was also the musical voice of many of the songs we hear on the classic 'Dad's Army' TV sitcom, including its famous intro song "who do you think?".

Thanks again Paul, a really interesting tour. Now you see what I mean about the character of these buildings, having commented critically about some of the modern bland, sterile, characterless ones in the past. Golders Green has all the character and beauty of the Victorian era. Loved Barbara Windsor, especially in the Carry On films as I don’t watch any soaps. I bought and read her first autobiography ‘Babs’ - my word a real eye opener !! She made a deserved fortune from her beautiful figure but it was also her downfall on many occasions ! God Bless her, hope she rests in Peace.

Finding all these videos today and I'm chuffed I have. I've watched Barbra Windsor from the carry on films (no I'm not old im only 30) but I watched them with my dad her giggly laugh and her amazing beautiful looks let's face it we all wish we looked that good. Eastenders has never been the same since Barbra left "get out of my pub" most famous line and everytime someone gets kicked out the queen Vic I say that line to myself. I, was devastated to find out she had dementia it actually made me cry because she just didn't deserve it she was a lovely lady always full of happiness up until she passed away. I miss you Barbra I miss Peggy Mitchell and I miss seeing you happy on the TV. God bless you ❤ R.I.P beautiful lady 💕

Paul I did also notice as the camera panned round a memorial to Bud Flanagan of Flanagan and Allen, Bud Flanagan sings the theme on every episode of 'Dad's Army'. it was the last recording he ever made. He was part of a double act with Chesney Allen. I am too young to remember them but my parents spoke of them The memorial also includes his son Buddy.

I`m nearly seventy now. One of my everlasting memories was meeting Barbara in 1968.
It was beside the swimming pool at the Coral Playa Hotel Magaluf. Majorca.
Her husband Ronnie Knight was in a deck chair next to her. He wore more gold than was in a jewelers window disply.
He was a pleasant guy who did not mind the attention given to Barbara.
She told us she had just finnished filming a Carry on film.
She signed autographs for us and we left her to "Carry on with her Holiday"

One name that jumped out for me, as the camera slid by it, not far from Barbara Windsor, was Larry Adler. He was an American born musician and film composer. His principal instrument was the harmonica and although he was known for playing major works, by composers such as Gershwin and Vaughan-Williams, he is perhaps best remembered for writing and playing the music for the film Genevieve.
