  • Join myself and fellow youtuber Lee ( The Aqua Adventurer) as we visit the locations and graves of The Moors Murder victims.
The Moors murders were carried out by Ian Brady and Myra Hindley between July 1963 and October 1965, in and around Manchester, England. The victims were five children-Pauline Reade, John Kilbride, Keith Bennett, Lesley Ann Downey and Edward Evans-aged between 10 and 17

Just so so sad, my father was a PC based in Oldham and was one of the officers on the moors searching when they found little Lesley Ann. He was also one of the officers who was in the police van taking Brady to Chester Crown Court, he also heard the tape recording they had made. It upset my father so badly as my older brother was only a little baby at the time and it crushed him to witness it all. I do remember my father telling me that Brady & Hindley never showed any remorse in court. When Hindley tried (and failed) to get parole my Dad was upset at the thought of ‘that monster’ getting out. My Dad found it hard to talk about them and like yourself just referred to them as those monsters. Again another thoughtful and respectful video and very touching .. Thank you x

A hairdresser I once knew said his ex mother in law had a boarding house in the area at the time of the investigation. He said some officers came up from London and stayed there, she overheard them talking and wouldn't discuss details but said the true state of the children's bodies was never made public.
While living in the north west and unfamiliar with the area I went on a day trip to Leeds we drove through Saddleworth Moor it had a bleak and unpleasant vibe. When I realised it was Saddleworth and what took place there I knew why.

They must have been so afraid.Poor Lesley Downeys mum,Ann West was to live the rest of her life in torture and fought against parole vehemently. Bittersweet this episode Paul.Lovely respect as always from you , and Lee tonight. As sad as it is for all the families your heart has got to go out to Keith Bennett's mum,Winnie. She wasnt able to give her son a funeral.- It doesn't bare thinking about.❤

I prefer that they got to rot in prison than given the relief of passing to the other side. I personally don't believe in Hell, I think we all go to the same place and if looked at closely (how they were raised, mental issues etc) everyone would have empathy for everyone else. I know that's a tough pill to swallow sometimes and I struggle with it too. But I prefer them to have been stripped of their freedom and dignity and having to spend their years rotting in jail. As Abraham Hicks once said, you wouldn't give the death penalty to those buggers if you knew what the death experience was really like for all (Wonderful) Probably an unpopular opinion but I prefer they had to live in jail than be free.

HI Paul, First off I have to say thank god those two evil things no longer breath the same air as us anymore. Those children never got a chance to experience a life like most of us have its just sickening. The poor families having to carry on without them i honestly don't know how they did . I hope they are all now at peace and that Winnie has now found her beloved Keith .Thanks Paul take it easy 👉

I remember the photo graphs and the poster obviously in black and white in a frame outside our local police station as was then on the corner of Grosvenor road in Chester, I was 12 years of age at the time , my late father's brother Victor Randles was on the jury at chester azises at the castle in court number one, My late uncle victor who had seen action ln WW2 At Alamein but fortunately came back , but unfortunately this broke him a family man with 3 daughters he was excused jury service and suffered a nervous breakdown, he was never the same man after this horrendous episode, this is one reason I believe in capital punishment,if one is prepared to take someone's you should be prepared to fore fit your own, .

Paul, this was a very moving video. Its reduced me to tears infact. I saw and felt your emotion as you spoke about poor Lesley Ann Downey. I've never seen these poor souls graves before and I find it very sad and indeed very sobering to say the least.
This is indeed a fantastic post and done with great respect. Must have been very difficult for you both.

What a great video, done with the utmost respect for the victims of these heinous crimes. Its hard to believe that people like 'them' existed on Gods green earth, hell is too good a place for them. I love all your videos but this one has to stand out as one of the best. I could tell that you were holding back saying what you wanted to say about 'them' , no-one would've blamed you for getting angry, these were truly despicable crimes carried out by monsters. Here's hoping that the victims are resting in peace and 'them' are burning in hell.

As I was growing up my mother told me there was no such things as monsters, but when I was about 10 years old my mother said to me she had changed her mind. I am Australian and we heard all the horrific news about the Moors Murders here and to this very day I still cant imagine the horror those beautiful kids went through. Rot in Hell you Monsters.

I'm 55 now so iv only read about these vile crimes and seen all the documentarys over the years ! It's the one and only case that iv done my research and don't ever want to go back to that's why I won't be watching on this occasion as it's to sensersive for me. Them tapes were Leslie Ann was pleading for them to not hurt her and asking for her mummy haunt me and I wouldn't ever want to hear them again. These children will never be forgotten so for me I don't need to be seeing there Graves, not that there's anything wrong with anybody else seeing them as this is what this channel does..RIP ANGELS ..

Very very moving and powerful Paul, you made this video with Great respect and sensitivity, probably the most evil and frightening vlog I have seen on TH-cam, j was 10 years old at the time so I remember it well, I was doing some catering a couple of years ago for a magistrate where I live in the Midlands and I asked him about his career he told me at the time of the trial he was a junior working for the coroners office in Manchester and he said to me he seen the evidence and heard the infamous tape recordings, it has haunted me all my life he said, RIP all the young children and Mr Evans plus poor Keith's mother, thanks Paul and Lee never to be forgotten.

A truly shocking event that has had an effect on so many over the years. Those poor kids. A kid myself at that time, I remember my parents used to go for runs out over Saddleworth, Woodhead and around Greenfield when they were building the reservoirs at Dovestones. I remember one day, though I must have been only about 5 or 6, they drove up the Saddlworth Moor rd A635, there was snow on the ground and at a layby spot where there once stood a hotel called the Isle of Skye, were several police cars with officers and men in raincoats carrying shovels and walking over the moors, looking back and knowing now what I didn`t know then, I can only imagine they were looking for the last two children. Very sad. Thanks for the upload and keeping the history alive. Have subscribed.
