    I love the fact that you showed every step down to which products were used (and some alternatives), thinning of paints that needed thinned, which grit of sandpaper was used & when, sanding sticks, pre-tinning the parts before soldering (and cleaning tip with wire wool), etc.
    I'm sooo tempted to try and recreate this build

    There is a guy who losted a eye. With help from a glass eye tech and a electronic tech. Made a eye with a red led in it that if I remember correctly. Used a magnet to turn on / off the eye. This guy like going to bars and turning on his eye before removing his sunglasses.

    I have two T-800 heads, one is ready for paint but I don’t have an air brush.
    The coaxial RG6 was a brilliant idea, printing them is a pain!!
    I printed them in half as you did, but I printed them upside down like a bowl so there was little support to remove.
    I also installed a pressure switch at the bottom of the CPU port so when the CPU is inserted, the eyes light up. When removed, they shut off.
    Other than that, I’ll be using some of the techniques from this video to expedite the sanding and filling process on the second head.
    Awesome build!

    A fabulous build, nice and in-depth, plus also very clear instructions as per your usual high standards... A few things would not be available here in the UK, especially the Spas Stix, that brand name would 'NEVER' be allowed here!
    Despite the long interlude between videos, its great to see you with another fully finished cinema icon.
    I look forward to you building the rest of the body by the end of the week using nothing but cardboard toilet tubes and plumbing! 😆

    • @HappyTrooperDotCom
      @HappyTrooperDotCom  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is said that circular sanding can cause deeper scratches, and could remove more paint than using horizontal/vertical strokes. I have never compared the 2 methods. When wet sanding, the goal is to smooth/finish, and remove as little as possible. This is the method that works for me :) Thank you for watching!
