Good video thanks, made me evaluate some of my own media watching habits. Watching “drama” and “rant” videos in the same genre as Issac aren’t healthy for my mindset.
It's difficult to recognise that about yourself sometimes, so good on you for making that decision. Noel Deyzel is a great, funny TH-camr if you want to get into fitness and still have that comedic slant.
I'd honestly recommend FG Signifier, Noah Samsen, 1Dime, Alexander Avila, Andrewism, Boy Boy, Big Joel, Carlos Maza, Foreign Man in a Foreign Land, Innuendo Studios, JohnTheDuncan, Kay and Skittles, PixelHipster, Pop Culture Detective, The Deprogram, Kavernacle, They're a real antidote to the drama/rant nonsense. I'm sure you'll find something if you look around these channels :)

The reason people like Isaac can get away with so much is because of how much plausible deniability their words are laced with, and how much they capitalise on the fears of their audience. Let's not make fun of people who DO change their perceptions in light of new evidence.
The funny thing about the grip strength / strap argument is that your back SHOULD be much stronger than your arms. If you are effectively targeting your back, chances are you need straps. Unless you are wasting tonnes of time in the gym strength training your forearms, in which case i would ask: WHY!? Use your time effectively to train and grow muscles that matter... like YOUR BACK THAT TAKES UP HALF OF YOUR TORSO
That's all true but you also don't want to neglect your grip either, like the workout Isaac was doing in the video: those machines are specifically designed to engage your back so why use straps? Save the straps for specific movements like heavy BB rows or deadlifts when you really are overloading your back.

They also get really personal, I feel like I've walked alongside them as they've grown as men, husbands and fathers as I've listened to their podcast over the last 10 years. They're all decades older than me but I pick up something valuable about not just the gym every time I listen.
Amazing video as always! I can't believe how little integrity this guy has. I guess the book publication is a nice cash grab and something he doesn't have to invest additional time in, like you said.

Just curious, and I’m playing devil’s advocate, don’t you think that perhaps he doesn’t abandon his fitness channel but rather thinks he’s put all the content out there for other to watch, but never promised to provide weekly testimonials of him working out?
That's fair, but why would he have done this three separate times? If it was something he had a valid reason for, would he not at least be open about it? I feel like showing yourself working out once shouldn't be used as carte blanche to make fun of anyone you look down on, especially when you try to present yourself as a role model to your audience.
The thing about lifting is it's boring. With cycling you can get somewhere. Buy a crap bike you'll have more fun than gym. Also there's a reason it's called a dad bod

When I checked his merch store it appeared that all of the average marn shirts were sold out above a size XL. I'm not body shaming his audience by saying that, but based off his content and the self-loathing demonstrated by his audience, it appears that a lot of Isaac's audience is comprised of the same people he mocks in his videos, most likely because they view it as some twisted sort of motivation, or proactive selth-loathing. That makes it all the more tragic that Isaac abandoned them so many times, only to mock other overweight people in all of his content.

This 25 minutes of this guy going to one barrell of water and going back each time cause it’s his only real point against Isaac, to your discredit just because he doesn’t put it in his titles Isaac has been preaching men’s mental health for years and being one of the only real creators to shed light to it. He doesn’t bully people for being fat he has a go at the people who think it’s the right way to live and demand treatments for there choices and you tell me mate is it really the right way to live?? Isaac has been a light for men who struggle with mental issues and uses his platform to use it to help others and his book is another representation of it, gave it a read and it’s truly a great book for people that need a light and a hand with their situations.

There’s some truly great stuff out there, and many good suggestions have already been made in this comment section.

It's all well and good to try something new and "go out of your comfort zone", but Isaac isn't doing that. He continuously pretends to be a masculine role model, only to give up on the people he says he wants to inspire, and goes back to making tiktok reaction videos. Isaac's content making fun of people IS his comfort zone, which he constantly has to retreat to because he can't be bothered to put more work in to improve himself or stick to anything. I can't stop you from supporting Isaac, but there are other role models on youtube who have infinitely more backbone than he does, and actually stand for something.

Why is isaac the only person ive seen wearing his own merch. Maybe none of it sells and it's rather sad that he wears his merch in the videos.
