I recently had a major physical improvement as well. I owe it to a book I read "The Power of Habit". The author says that when you want to make life changes it is important to completely redo your schedule to support new habits. It's not enough to just say "I'll try to eat better" but decide "I will go to a different grocery store from now on (because when I'm there I always stop by the snacks isle out of habit). I won't watch this same tv show anymore (because I always watch it with a beer, or 10). I highly recommend the book!

I started 6 days ago. I eat one or two keto meals and then no food the next day, alternate days. So far so good. I'm hoping to lose around 28Ibs in 31 days.

I'm doing this right now, at day 20, and have incorporated Keto into the mix as well (allowing for a treat here and there). It seems to be working. I'm not weighing myself for 31 days (All of October) so we'll see how it ends up. How much did you/have you lost overall? Have you been successful in keeping it off? How is your running doing? That's next for me, a return to running. Was doing 5 miles 4x a week @ 50 yrs old. Now 56.....

Congrats! Listen to your body and make sure that you are getting enough Vitamin D and potassium. Don’t do too much too fast, you’ve got your whole life ahead of you, and it’s only getting longer as you get healthier.

I stopped after loosing 9 kgs in 20 days all due to the festival season nothing due to the fast. Will restart after 8th January. Just have 5 kgs more to loose.

@@Feuerwerker361 It’s really hard to lose weight while drinking beer. I try be very careful with beer. Use it as a reward for exercise. You can have a beer or two to celebrate every week or two if you’re working out a lot. Getting drunk and losing weight don’t work together. Now that I have achieved my goal weight, I’m able to drink a little more beer, and still stay the same weight.
You got this! I like yoga and running mostly. I was climbing a lot, but I got a new job and new baby so it’s been harder to get to the climbing gym this year. Honestly, weight loss is 90% diet. So staying away from sugar and alcohol makes a big difference for me.
Very motivating to watch this video. I gained 50 lbs., after I quit smoking cigarettes and an additional 20 lbs. because of covid. I lost 10 lbs in 10 days doing the high starch vegan diet. Then I stopped losing anymore weight. I found out my cortisol and testosterone levels had flatlined. I was told by my doctor to wait for a few months until my body did some healing. I am a woman and never really realized how important testosterone is for women as well as men. Now I am ready to get serious about losing this 60 lbs.. How many days a week do you intermittent fast? I try my best to intermittent fast as much as possible. My universal advice is to stay away from sugar and alcohol. I like to eat between 1pm and 9pm but occasionally I slide it around a bit. Black coffee in the morning helps me start my day without messing up my fast. Always listen to your body. In my experience, avoiding simple carbs (bread/pasta) is helpful, and don’t be afraid of healthy fats.
As a skinny person intermittent fasting is a really good way to lose weight, one day I caught myself intermittent fasting, cause usually I don't really think about food, by the way your Rocking thats beard 😅

It was easier to stick to the ‘rules’ if I focused on putting good food in, rather than obsessing about keeping bad food out. ‘The Rules’ No added sugar, but fruit and natural sugars are cool. No alcohol. I tried to avoid bread and pasta, and instead lean into grains (rice & quinoa). Also, I had SUPER high triglycerides and insulin resistance, so I mixed in some extended water fasts as well. Eventually worked my way up to 3 days with only water and salt over the course of my 6 month cut. I did end up losing a bunch of muscle as well, so if I had it to do over again I would have focused on increasing my protein and making sure to mix in more full body strength training. After that six months I dove into yoga, and was able to get strong again while keeping the weight off
Abdur Rehman Khan Protein is important, but you don’t need a ton to lose weight. You probably don’t need more than 30 or 40g per meal. Focus on eating a lot of vegetables, and a little fruit is good. Have you ever researched intermittent fasting? I learned a lot from Thomas Delauer and Dr Berg here on TH-cam. Check them out.

Vegetables and eggs and fish and meat! You have to try to get 8 cups of vegetables in every day. If you focus on putting good stuff in your body, it’s easier to keep the bad things out. Don’t drink calories. Soda or even juice or smoothies. It won’t fill you up. Cut out anything with ADDED sugar. When you look at food labels it will blow your mind how many things have sugar added to it. Look under the carbohydrate category. Natural sugar is OK, but ADDED sugar is bad. If you really want to get serious you have to cut out alcohol and simple carbohydrates like bread and pasta. You got this!
And I’m thinking meal one egg whites with 3 eggs with yolk on top with oatmeal ?? Is that good then last meal of day would be any lean meat with veggies like broccolie etc? Or should I be doing no carbs at all almost like keto I would prefure to eat carbs like oatmeal but if I won’t lose weight then I’ll cut them out. Because ive never been able to lose a lot of weight like never. And I have until july3 to make weigny of 203 I’m 215 now

I’m not sure what that means. But 90% of weight loss is diet. Since this video I had a month where I was running 35 miles a week so I thought I could eat whatever I wanted and I gained 12 pounds. Oops. Weight loss & gain is 90% diet.
It changes with the seasons. Some of the year I focus on running and endurance, other times of the year I focus on strength and building muscle. My fitness pal is a great app for helping you learn about how the calories and nutrients add up, and you can get a better view at what your body wants and responds well to
