  • This 20 minute workout uses no only bodyweight moves in a low impact fashion to work the entire body at a beginner's level. No jumping or difficult moves, just basic bodyweight moves that can be done anywhere by anyone. This workout moves at a slower pace is great for beginners, those recovering from injuries, or those with limitations that need low impact options. No equipment required.     This is perfect. I'm going through a health challenge and can't tolerate higher intensity exercises. Something like this and walking are keeping me active and feeling good until I get better.

    When I was pregnant I went down to 195 lbs after i gave birth i was 200lbs and i think using your videos during pregnancy helped alot so I'm going to start up again I'm at 230lbs with school and being a new mom taking a toll wish me luck 🤘

    I have ridiculously terrible knees from ab injury and most beginners videos have made me quit when I couldn't even do the basics. Working up from a much lower point is so discouraging. Thank you so much for videos that even I can manage. It makes me feel like I have a place to start!

    Fantastic to have an ACTUAL beginners workout! Some trainers have a very strange idea of a beginner(running high knees from a different trainer sticks in my mind) Amy gets you to work without feeling judged for being so unfit.

    I came across this video searching for low impact body weight exercises. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome NOV2016 and I am just reaching the point where I feel that I can get back to some form of exercise that will not completely wipe me out. I completed this video today and my goal right now is to do low impact body weight 3 days a week until I feel that I can move on from there and on the other days will do at home yoga for stretching. Thank you so much for providing this video.

    Thank you so much! I have been skipping on focussing on my body and it shows- crappy moods and unproductive thoughts. Its so true that our bodies were meant to move.     This is great! Finally a beginner workout that I feel I can accomplish. I get discouraged when a lot of the moves in beginner workouts are hard for me to do. I'd definitely like to see more videos like this.

    After struggling with several health issues, this is a great way to get started right from the beginning, in a simple but non-patronising video. I like how Amy doesn't make you feel bad if you can't do everything - because everybody is different! I also like how it doesn't involve jumping about - I live in a flat and can't do a lot of workout videos in case the neighbours complain about the jumping!

    Your workout helped, I have lost weight on the treadmill and now I am stick at a weight and can not get anywhere. Suggestions to do weights but I know my body is not ready so I found your page and so far your the only person I have not found that is boring when they talk and have your watchers continue to do what they are doing while you explain and show the next step. My first time and I have a lot of work to do for my core because I have no idea. I truly appreciate what you are doing for beginners. Thank you

    I loved this workout - finally a beginner workout I can handle - no burpees or jumping or difficult moves which make you feel bad when the trainer pretends its easy. You have a lovely kind manner too.

    Amy, you have become my virtual personal trainer, and I'm SO grateful to you! I have an ankle injury and I'm scheduled for surgery on June 2; I was in PT for a couple of years trying to avoid surgery, but after I stopped, I stopped working out. You have given me my body back and my love of exercise! These beginner videos are wonderful for someone like me who has been away from exercise for awhile. More pilates, more abs, and more just like this one, only maybe longer/going up in difficulty but still low-impact for those recovering from a foot//ankle/knee injury. You are the best!

    Thanks Amy. I used to be super fit before my pregnancy, but 9 months post partum and I am still carrying all that extra pounds making my injured knees worse. It's like a vicious cycle. I can't do high intensity workout to lose the weight because my knees hurt so much. Hoping your videos will help me get back to where I was.

I'm not a beginner but I have severe endometriosis, had surgery 8 months ago and have chronic pain. Sometimes all i can do is a slower, low-impact workout and this is just great! Thank you!

    I appreciate the many levels of modifications you present! I'm pretty flexible and can go faster on some of the cardio, but have to be very careful of joints. These are the first triceps dips that haven't caused pain. I was cautious with my chair push ups (elbows and wrists), and had to do the bird dog on my fists--I can't put my weight or balance on flat hands. I look forward to trying more of your workouts. Thank you!

    I have realized to keep me engaged in wanting to exercise that I need to switch up what I do every day. I wanted to have a "light" day with a bit of yoga and cardio. This video is perfect!     Your workouts really help. Would love to see more beginner workouts (20 - 30 minutes) for those over 50 yrs +, balance, weights, flexibility, and full body. Thanks for helping us stay healthy. In addition, would love to see more camera angles as when we watch it, we have to reverse (do opposite) what we see on the screen.

    Loved this! I'm recovering from a broken foot. It's been about 5 months. Ive spent a lot of time on a knee scooter so I've noticed that my back muscles have gotten really weak. I'd like to see more workouts for beginners with a bad foot. Or just some things I can do to regain mobility and strengthen my back up again. I can't do anything like lunges with it yet. It won't bend that way.

    Thanks Amy. I've been doing your low impact 10 & 20 minute workouts for a few weeks now. They are really useful because I work at a desk for long hours. I can take a quick break, get my heart rate up, and then get back to work. It feels so good! Perhaps a five minute one that can be done every hour or so?

    Thank you for the beginner workout! I have a physical disability with low range of motion in my knees. I am able to do most of your workout! Because I can't bend my knees all the way, I'd like to see back strengthening exercises that don't require being down on all fours.

    Hi Amy! I'm from London, UK and I did a body scuplt class recently and loved it so much that I came online to see if there was something free I could do myself. So excited I found you! I have some weight to lose and strength to build, and was recently on the sofa with a horrible flu. I just did the beginners workout and the Cardio HIIT workout to get me restarted again and they were fantastic!!! I'm sweating buckets and feel like I worked hard.     Beginner workouts ARE hard to find...Really liked this one, ...it felt just right for my level and wasn't too long so that I don't want to keep coming back! Like that you give options for fitness level AND show us how. Would love to know your thoughts on making a plan .... should I do this everyday for 1 week or 2 or ?? and then which video should I advance to after that.... etc..

    Amy, I love your workouts, but a lot of the exercises and modifications seem to work only for the knees. My knees are fine, but my elbows are not. I find that they get stressed out even with your modifications and was wondering if you had any modifications that were elbow and wrist friendly. I end up having to skip a bunch of the exercises because my elbows and wrist hurt too much to continue.

    When i clicked on to your video i thought to myself here we go lets see how long i can keep up for, but to my suprise i throughly enjoyed it, i found you to be very informative and encouraging and i actually finished it, ive been following for
    3 weeks now i first started with the 10min video (which i couldn't finish lol ) which i did every day for a week, had 2 days off then started the 20 min video 8every other day. Now i am able to do this every day, i was looking for a 30 min one of the same type but the only one i could find was the kettlebell , so if possible could you please do a 30 min one then i intend to do your 4 wk challange ive already down loaded your ebook and am quietly looking forwards to the challange 😊

    Amy, thank you so much for another great workout! I’ve started working out with during my pregnancy. Then I did a couple weeks of your postnatal workouts. Transitioning to regular workout routine with your beginners playlist.
