  • Here's a what the new Lumenier AXII HD 2 DJI antennas look like out of the box and how to install them (it's super easy, barely an inconvenience). BTW, these are the V2 DJI FPV Goggles. Not sure if there's any difference in the fit for V1 goggles.

    What up my man!
    V1 goggles patches on bottoms
    V2 goggles patches diagonally
    For best penetration and range

      Interesting. Why is this?

    • @DaxNealFPV
      @DaxNealFPV 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RCwithAdam1 on the v1 the Omni Stubbies being higher will help with range of those Tx/rx antennas. The patch on bottom will be able to utilize the bottom left Rx only antenna for range.
      V2 too right and bottom left allow for two Rx only antenna with at least one Omni stubby up high.

    I'm glad I saw your video. I have the AXII HD2 on DJI FPV Goggles v1. I sold it last month. I just bought a DJI FPV Goggles V2. I want to buy an AXII HD2 again but I wasn't sure if it will fit the V2. Your video proved it is compatible.

    Iflight crystal for me is the preferred antenna upgrade.

      Agreed but I ended up snagging mine for $36 on sale otherwise I would have preferred the carbon pattern. Maybe I'll wrap them or just spray black as I was forced to get the clear orange(again price).

    My guess is that the open space inside the goggles is to enhance airflow for proper cooling.

      Helpful only for 25-200mw. But you can switch power up to 700-1200mw and fly with stock. Stock 1200mw easy penetrate up to 5-6km in field for long range. Usally I use 700mw. Fly with stock.

    • @RCwithAdam1
      @RCwithAdam1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think the foam came from a set of desktop speakers (for vibration isolation or something). It is nice and soft and compresses easily. I used Super 77 adhesive to attach a cotton bandana over it. It's the best goggle foam I've found!
