    That foam looks just what I need after trying something off AliExpress, just hope they reply and tell me if it’s stock or not etc.

      Im still keeping a lookout for something similar off Ali. As long as its foam covered with cloth on the outside, then its a good match.

    nice and thank you for the recommendations! I was wondering what lipo batteries do you recommend for the luminier custom drones?

    • @TheReelRahim
      @TheReelRahim  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're most welcome! Aniways currently im using CNHL batts and they have been great. U cant go wrong w Tattu, but they come at a premium price. Also have bros recommending Ovonic, but havent used them myself. Go for high discharge rates. For my kit, im still on 4S setup so i look for at least a 100C batt. No HighVoltage batts pls. They give the most power, but die fast. Use for afew races, then throw away type 😅

    I have a Fat Shark strap but I need to get some new foam.

    • @TheReelRahim

      Try it out! But note that the strap may need a different mount. An open-loop bracket may be what u need. Let me know how it works out 🤟🏽

    What about remote id?? Doesn’t it require a cable from goggles to phone? It does here in the USA

    • @TheReelRahim
      @TheReelRahim  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry Im not familiar with remote id. Hope other FPV bros have helped you out on this. But yes, you will require a DATA usb cable connected using the dongle to phone. Fly safe, and see you in the skies!

    How you charge dji batterie? Through usb cable just with normal ad adapter? May i plug it just with usb direct to pc or should i always use ac adapter? Und which ac adapter reccomends you? Thx

    • @TheReelRahim
      @TheReelRahim  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Using a normal 5v2a phone adapter is fine and ideal. I charge mine that way. Charge times will be similar. Not recommended to use basic 5v1a plugs. Not that its dangerous, just that it takes too damn long 😅. Whats dangerous is those high power VERY fast charging phone adapters that output something like 9v4a. Thats gonna fry e charger.

  • @josebermudez21

    hello can you tell me what battery is? the one with the integrated cable?

    • @TheReelRahim
      @TheReelRahim  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry i missed this. Here is the battery:
      s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DkQJfz7
      But personally im not using it to power the goggles as it has lower capacity and id rather be using the original batt that clips in at the back. But of coz thats a trade off for weight. The original batt and clip is heavier than this Eachine batt, but I use it as counterweight for the goggles by having it at the back.

    the iflight Strap is great, because of the clips that come with it.
    but the strap itself is "too soft" easy to slide off if you have the googles not above your eyes.
    the ehtix HD strap is better (but the V1!!) its however hard to find this days.

    • @TheReelRahim
      @TheReelRahim  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      IKR! Had many mention its great! Just not something u get off the market pre-loved. 😅Hahahaha. Settling for these for now.

    • @nullx8
      @nullx8 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheReelRahim yeah i'm rocking the iflight ones too, just need to be careful if the googles on your forehead they slide off really easy, and. the strap looses itself over time i fixed this with a big safety pin behind the clip :P problem solved forever ;)

    what about some upgraded antennas for the V2, recommend any ?

    • @TheReelRahim
      @TheReelRahim  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Still too early. Luminier makes a nice eyepatch and stubbies combo, but its only on 5.8ghz, meant for the Air Unit/ Caddx Vista setup on DIY drones. Our DJI FPV uses both 5.8ghz and 2.4ghz, and thats what the stock antennas are tuned for. So im leaving it at that until there are more options out there. Some brands are alr creating them, but they are mostly patch antennas that stick out like muffin pans 😅. I wanna have a clean look, like Luminier's setup for Digital. PLUS an analog receiver module kit integrated 😏

    • @zz4000
      @zz4000 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@TheReelRahim yea, I saw true RC and luminier has the dual antennas for sale , but I would wait for your review , if and when you do one.

    • @TheReelRahim
      @TheReelRahim  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Looking forward to do it too. Just waiting for the right one. Still gonna keep with the compact look of the patches and stubbies

    does fpv goggles v1 work with controller 2?

    • @TheReelRahim
      @TheReelRahim  ปีที่แล้ว

      Im afraid it wont. It was designed for mainly DIY fpv use. Only Goggles V2 and FPV Goggles 2 will work with the Controller 2. But I may be mistaken as I have not had to deal with Goggles V1. Do let me know here if u get a chance to try, so we can help others too.

    Hi, I have a question, would it be still possible to fly the drone in normal & sports mode if the throttle stick is not self-centering for manual mode?

    • @TheReelRahim
      @TheReelRahim  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Great of u to ask. IT IS POSSIBLE. I did that when i started my first few test flights with the DJI FPV. But it got difficult for me. Because in N and S mode, left stick is altitude adjustment. So its ok to keep centre. But in M mode, left stick becomes throttle, and i dont want to keep fighting with the sticks. Even as i cruise around, left stick is not centre, and im always making micro adjustnents. So i dont want that centre-ing of the sticks and the spring resistance. Hope this explains it.

    • @TheReelRahim
      @TheReelRahim  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad it worked out. F2 to fully loosen, then add F1 to your preferred friction feel. If u plan to fly Manual most of the time, once awhile go back to N or S jist to get familiar w the different stick feel. You'll do alright 🤟🏽
