I use the thickest VRcover foam for the Oculus Quest2. They are almost the same size so it fits perfectly on the DJI goggles. The nose section is missing in these, but that's actually a plus in my opinion since it doesn't pinch my nose. I'd recommend giving it a try, especially if you already own the VRcover or a similar one.
Hi Steve! Thank you. My shop is www.nordfpv.com You can find this link and links to some of the products I mentioned here in the description of the video. Thank you for watching
Thank Rolan! I know shipping it’s a bit expensive, that’s the problem of the shop being in EU for my American customers. But I’m glad you liked the strap!
Hi SOrry, I'm not sure if you can or not. But your googles doesn't accept a USB power, so your powerbank will have to be converted or adapted to any of the input plugs of the googl. Then the power bank should be giving you 5 volt which I think it's too little for the goggles
18650 batteries need the same maintenance as LiPo batteries do. There is no difference in how they should be handled. Leaving 18650's fully charged does damage just like other form factors.
what stubby antennas would be the best using the v2 and air unit? TrueRC Singularity Stubbys cost me 80€ while the iFlight Crystal cost me about 35€... which one should i choose? (i wont use any patch antennas so 4 stubbys)
Most of my customers buy the TrueRC. People say they are the best. But if you are restraint by money, I'm pretty sure you will be happy with the iFlight stubbies.
@@trecma8748 it's up to you. If you change the one in the drone from stock to a better one, you will have better results in the end. The question is, do you really need it? In many cases people don't fly that long, or requires THAT much better antennas (unless you are doing long range, or a lot of walls). My opinion, test it with the original antenna in the drone first, if you don't like it, upgrade.
So... the goggle v2 hack... where you are able to get access 1000mw.. do you know anything about it? If so, my goggles won't let me access it. It's stuck at 25 mw. Please help

Nice video. But on the version 2 goggles they are dual band antennas and most of the ones on the market are for version 1. This will not hurt the goggles but it will degrade the signal when using the FPV drone.
Completely true. IF you use the DJI fpv drone changing the antennas to these one is not a good idea. But then if you don’t use that drone you can proceed ahead without worrying!
You are soooo right! DJI knows how crappy the fit is on the original digital goggles. So much so, that they came out with a good fitting $15 foam option. Then they release the V2 googles and DON'T INCLUDE the good foam! That was always puzzling to me! They included that nearly worthless tiny little battery pack, raised the V2 goggles price $40, and didn't put the new foam on the V2's! DUMB! I also agree, the "factree" strap sucks, and as you well know, the strap over your head, messes up your hair! LOL ;) Stylin' skin and strap that goes together, Bro! ... SwEeT !! Nice video! :)
06:18 can someone state what he said? I wasnt able to understand. Thanks in advance
What? Li ion batteries requires less maintenance?
I have to say that skin on your goggles is sweet!
Thanks
Where can we find this skin to buy it? Tnx in advance

Good tip. Thanks!
Sorry, how can the case work with dji v2 if their input range is 11,1-25,2V?
I just searched for the the datasheet and it says the V2 are 2S to 6S. The case is 2S, therefore it works.
Great video and fantastic upgrades for the google. Thank you so much.
Thanks Clare!

Hello, can i use powerbank 20w for powering dji goggles v2?

Not nearly as quickly or as extremely.

TrueRC all the way, they are worth the price, really.
@@NordFPV Do you need to also add a new antenna to the Drone itself or just switch the one on the googles and you are good to go?

I can't tell you here how to do it, but there's a lot of info on the internet. I suggest you to look for Oscar Liang's guides

I like the foam.....
I like 3point... I do however have a modified 3 point.
Cool. How did you modify it?
Will you be selling the skin? Looks dope AF.
I'm hoping to do it soon. I'm in the process of mass produce them, but it has proved to be more complicated than I expected. Stay tuned
