Well, the only "tie-in" to the Arrowverse is that in the last episode of *Arrow* , we see the "Van Wayne Industries" sign in the background of one scene. I had actually watched the show, and I'm pretty sure that I had missed that sign the first time I watched that episode... (And honestly it kinda makes one wonder why Kate Kane never reached out to her cousin Vanderveer "Van" Wayne when she ran into her own troubles, if he has a powerful securitycompany in Gotham City dealing with super-weapons, and with plenty of connections to super-heros & villains; yes she is an idiot, but Luke Fox is smart, he would have considered it) Anyway, I was happy to see Vee talk about *Powerless* , I remember recommending that he reviews the last episode of the show, _"Win, Luthor, Draw"_ as a homage to Adam West back in the ol' days, since his role as the chairman of Wayne Security was his last live action role ever... Like the awesome *Batman vs Two-Face* movie, that last episode of *Powerless* was released post-mortem, despite the fact that the show was removed from the air while season 1 was still airing because absolutely no one was watching it (they didn't promote it at all), so back then they released that particular episode for free on DC's official youtube channel in memory of Adam West... It was a nice move, and it retroactively introduced a lot of people to the show.

@@thenight1647 - Hey there! That's an interesting question, I was starting to answer it then remembered that the crossover _Crisis on Infinite Earths_ takes place during *Batwoman* season 1, and lots of stuff, both minor and major, were changed by this event... Plus, there are 2 different episode 1 for the show *Powerless* , a first pilot that was aired at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, but aside from some promotional DVDs that were given out at the event (a fan uploaded it on the SuperHeroHype forums so some of us got to watch it that way) the episode never aired on TV... So a lot of people never got a chance to watch it until last year, when Vanessa Hudgens, who plays the main character of the show, Emily Locke, uploaded the unaired alternative pilot to her youtube channel after a fan sent her the promotional DVD that included the episode. Buuuut that wasn't what you asked, my bad ^^' about your questions, there is indeed some stuff that contradicts the Arrowverse in that show... First thing first, that "Van Wayne Industries" billboard that we see in *Arrow* ... that's not what the company is called in *Powerless* It's "Wayne Security", so it might not even be the same business at all, but something else that Vanderveer Wayne opened at some point. Also, Batman is active during the events of the show, and Joker is alive; so it can't take place in the same time as *Batwoman* , in which Joker died and Batman disappeared 3 years before the first season started (in universe, Joker died in 2015, and the show starts in 2018). Another important difference is that Lois Lane dies during the events of the first (and last) season of *Powerless* , and Lois is around in the Arrowvese, both before & after Crisis, and both on Supergirl's Earth-38 (after Crisis her Earth is merged with the one where The Flash and Arrow take place) and on the *Superman & Lois* Earth-TUD25. ... and other minor stuff that makes me think that the billboard that we see in *Arrow* is obviously for the same "Wayne Security" company, but one from a different Earth than the one that we saw in *Powerless* Anyway, I'd recommend this show if you're a hardcore DC fan, since there are some really obscure heroes & villains who pop up in it, plus some famous DC writers and iconic actors who plays a role here and there, lots of deep cuts in there! ... Plus, so far it's the only place where my girl Fire/Green Fury (Beatriz Da Costa) got a live action adaptation, so I have a soft spot for it

Diddys Joker was actually for a tequila commercial and not just a Halloween costume. Considering her turning out to be a bigger actual villain than anyone knew he deserves a mention here.
Hello. Voz do Gibi here. Joker is an universal character. Here in Brazil he was often used in comedy programs like Trapalhões, and recently in comedy channels like Porta dos Fundos.
> To say the Joker is one of the most iconic villains ever created would be a major understatement. No, I'm pretty sure that would just be a statement. Neither under, nor over.
Titans and birds of prey is a perfect example of how Human npcs are so stagnant. It's hard to wrap a brain around how. It's like a video game animation that just has a leg up and never completes the animation of the leg going down and moving around screen. That's done with them 'trying to get right' but they don't want to be right and that's a dangerous assumption to think them trying to get right means they want to be right. In this issue it's them teasing big moments and not creating big moments and letting their lame shows get canceled
There was an early 2000s comic line called Just Imagine Stan Lee Creating the DC Universe. His Batman comic didn't have a Joker but a recently released sequel to the comic DOES: This Joker is a serial killer called The Choker.
I don’t see any clips from the Caesar Romero,Larry Storch,Lennie Weintraub or Frank Welker portrayals of the Clown Prince of Crime…” It is my belief that I have a Bat in my Belfry!!!”…Karl Schumaker 🦇🤡🦇🤡🦇🤡
There's something called the "Bat-embargo" which is why some of these versions you mentioned don't show the character fully, differ a lot from the source material or are very brief. Basically DC will restrict shows from using certain Batman characters that already used in other media around the same time. But they are inconsistent and hypocritical when it comes to enforcing this rule.
The Snickers and OnStar ads show the issue I have with using prosthetics to copy the chin and cheek bones of the comics. Adding prosthetics and extensive makeup to a regular human head will only result in a larger than normal head, which is the exact opposite of the comic book's thinner (or more emaciated?) than normal head. (It is similar to why Peter Weller was cast to play Robocop; he was physically thin enough that he wouldn't look too bulky in costume.)
The reason why the Joker is shown the way he is in those projects is because WB has a rule using a live action character one time per project. Meaning; during the Titans series run the Leto version of the Joker was going to be used. The way around that is the crisis on infinite Earths event when they had multiple Batmans including multiple Robins like Burt Ward walking Ace the dog along with Conroy as a live action Bruce Wayne. Plus, in the birds of prey tv show it was focused on Harley Quinn as the main villain.
At this point if i never see another joker in a movie then i will be totally fine. First off theres a new batman series or different one every few years and they always have a different joker. He is just used way too much. There are so many cool batman enemies that they havent even touched. Unless they go super dark like the story line where he cuts his face off and then wears it as a mask.
Whoa, I know that's not Tim Curry or Bill Skarsgard and I've seen the Revenge of the Nerds movies but, at 7:41 when that face appeared, I immediately thought Pennywise.
I believe Mark Hamill has said he likes DiMaggio's take on Joker a lot, and Kevin Conroy spoke highly of Baker as Joker as well. So I'd say both are very valid Jokers.
I don’t usually comment, but imo, the best portrayal of COMICS Joker on screen isn’t the Joker at all. Rob Zombie’s “31” main clown villain Doomhead, wasn’t only inspired by All Star Batman and Robin’s Joker but Richard Brake (GoT’s Night King) plays him in such a chilling way that he makes even Ledgers portrayal seem pretty G rated. If you are a fan of the darker more psychotic version of the Joker we often see in the comics and wonder why the movies and shows never seem to get it quite right, go watch Zombie’s 31 and tell me it didn’t make your entire day. Again, NOT the Joker… but 100% Joker. Rob knows it too, he f’ed around and made the PERFECT JOKER.
That Joker in the English dub of the commercial 7:30 sounds A LOT like Canadian actor and voice actor Don Francks, who also voiced Mok in Rock & Rule (1983). I wonder…🃏
Gotham for me is very appreciated because we currently had 2 Jokers Jerome and Jeremiah being the equivalent of the Joker in Gotham World while in other TV Shows like Arrowverse or Titans the Joker never appears the same thing happens with Batman i always wanted to see Gothamverse Batman in action and we only had 5 seconds of him in Gotham Finale
I actually made a tiny little onstar bumper sticker for my mcfarlane flash movie Batmobile because of those commercials because in my eyes the 89 batmobile forever has onstar!
i did a kids party as The joker once...it was like dong 60's joker and heath ledger at the same time...abt different but had fun! we even did a pie gag....

Well, the only "tie-in" to the Arrowverse is that in the last episode of *Arrow* , we see the "Van Wayne Industries" sign in the background of one scene. I had actually watched the show, and I'm pretty sure that I had missed that sign the first time I watched that episode...
(And honestly it kinda makes one wonder why Kate Kane never reached out to her cousin Vanderveer "Van" Wayne when she ran into her own troubles, if he has a powerful securitycompany in Gotham City dealing with super-weapons, and with plenty of connections to super-heros & villains; yes she is an idiot, but Luke Fox is smart, he would have considered it)
Anyway, I was happy to see Vee talk about *Powerless* , I remember recommending that he reviews the last episode of the show, _"Win, Luthor, Draw"_ as a homage to Adam West back in the ol' days, since his role as the chairman of Wayne Security was his last live action role ever...
@@randallflagg3700 Hey i was looking at the trailers of the show and i was i wondering despite the reference in the arrowverse. does it actually fit? it seems like they made alot of references to characters' that never appeared in the arroverse, so what are your thoughts or do you think this took place in the future. what do you think since you've watched it
@@thenight1647 - Hey there! That's an interesting question, I was starting to answer it then remembered that the crossover _Crisis on Infinite Earths_ takes place during *Batwoman* season 1, and lots of stuff, both minor and major, were changed by this event...
Plus, there are 2 different episode 1 for the show *Powerless* , a first pilot that was aired at the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con, but aside from some promotional DVDs that were given out at the event
(a fan uploaded it on the SuperHeroHype forums so some of us got to watch it that way)
the episode never aired on TV...
So a lot of people never got a chance to watch it until last year, when Vanessa Hudgens, who plays the main character of the show, Emily Locke, uploaded the unaired alternative pilot to her youtube channel after a fan sent her the promotional DVD that included the episode.
Buuuut that wasn't what you asked, my bad ^^'
about your questions, there is indeed some stuff that contradicts the Arrowverse in that show...
First thing first, that "Van Wayne Industries" billboard that we see in *Arrow* ... that's not what the company is called in *Powerless*
It's "Wayne Security", so it might not even be the same business at all, but something else that Vanderveer Wayne opened at some point.
Also, Batman is active during the events of the show, and Joker is alive; so it can't take place in the same time as *Batwoman* , in which Joker died and Batman disappeared 3 years before the first season started
(in universe, Joker died in 2015, and the show starts in 2018).
Another important difference is that Lois Lane dies during the events of the first (and last) season of *Powerless* , and Lois is around in the Arrowvese, both before & after Crisis, and both on Supergirl's Earth-38 (after Crisis her Earth is merged with the one where The Flash and Arrow take place) and on the *Superman & Lois* Earth-TUD25.
... and other minor stuff that makes me think that the billboard that we see in *Arrow* is obviously for the same "Wayne Security" company, but one from a different Earth than the one that we saw in *Powerless*
Anyway, I'd recommend this show if you're a hardcore DC fan, since there are some really obscure heroes & villains who pop up in it, plus some famous DC writers and iconic actors who plays a role here and there, lots of deep cuts in there!
...
Plus, so far it's the only place where my girl Fire/Green Fury (Beatriz Da Costa) got a live action adaptation, so I have a soft spot for it
Unofficial? They don't get better than Andrew Koenig in Batman: Dead End
Curtis Really Needs Props For His Version!!! Mark Hamill's Voice Work In Everything Is Awesome!!!!! (Same w/Many Voice Actors! Such An Under-Rated Field Of Talented Performers!!!!!!!!!)
The cameos at the end were great😅
Curtis Joker would be a really bad ass Hyena from the amalgam comics, specially on how his hair looks in the car
I remember the onstar Ads and I still love them cause they are Batman content at a time when we were in between official Batman projects with the ads running from 2000-2002 the Nolan trilogy hadn’t started yet and the Batman hadn’t started on kids wb yet and mystery of the Batwoman was a year after the ads in 2003
Diddys Joker was actually for a tequila commercial and not just a Halloween costume. Considering her turning out to be a bigger actual villain than anyone knew he deserves a mention here.
RIP Kevin Conroy
BATINTHESUN Joker is a pretty good one and one i wouldn't mind seeing in a film.
Hello. Voz do Gibi here. Joker is an universal character. Here in Brazil he was often used in comedy programs like Trapalhões, and recently in comedy channels like Porta dos Fundos.
I think one of the best live action Jokers is from the Batman Dead End
> To say the Joker is one of the most iconic villains ever created would be a major understatement.
No, I'm pretty sure that would just be a statement. Neither under, nor over.
That OnStar ad makes me really wanna see a Bruce Campbell Joker...
Love that Joker vee
Andrew Koenig’s Joker in Batman: Dead End is by far the best Joker I’ve ever seen.
I love how versatile The Joker is: he can be a flamoyant prankster, an absolute psycho, and everything inbetween.
The Snickers commercial is Classic Cesar Romero who never gets enough credit
Yes, please yes, please yes please I have a nice forgotten, forgotten joke thank you God bless you and Jesus loves you
Titans and birds of prey is a perfect example of how Human npcs are so stagnant.
Damn the voice actor cameos at the end almost made me cry rest in peace Kevin conroy.
The Gotham series Joker was hell yeah.
The OnStar Joker was unironially great
Vee Infuso would make a great Batman to fight these Jokers.
Love that joker ❤
You've been using brand
X?
You forgot joker from batman dead end
The OnStar commercial Joker sounded like the perfect blend of Romero and Nicholson
Such a shame that we'' never see what Mark Hamill as a live action Joker would look like. Dude has the psychotic mannerisms to pull if off.
That joker roller coaster bashes the shit out of your head on the shoulder restraint
Leto was awesome and fully redeemed in Zack Snyder's Justice League. He even got Batman to drop his first and only live action F bomb.
getting Cameos for the outro is a pretty awesome idea....
Kevin Joker is hilarious 😂. Creed Joker is terrifying 😢
They did Booger dirty with that face, I'd imagine he would do pretty well without it.
first time ever watching one of ur vids and was amazed good job
For unofficial Jokers, my favorite has to be the one from Patient J and lots of other Bat in the Sun fan films.
The Joker is one of my favorite Batman villains of all time
Love that joker!
It’s still insane to me that Titans wrote Bruce Wayne off by having him kill joker off screen.
Whoa, I know that's not Tim Curry or Bill Skarsgard and I've seen the Revenge of the Nerds movies but, at 7:41 when that face appeared, I immediately thought Pennywise.
Snickers Joker is by far my favorite Joker. When people are arguing about who the best Joker is, I always drop a link to the commercial.
Troy Baker is one of the best Jokers bro id definitely putt him up alongside Mark Hamill
Easily in my top 3. Baker, Dimaggio, Hamil
I believe Mark Hamill has said he likes DiMaggio's take on Joker a lot, and Kevin Conroy spoke highly of Baker as Joker as well.
So I'd say both are very valid Jokers.
@MaulingAshpalt Baker kinda sound like a sexier joker, I did not just say that💀
I don’t usually comment, but imo, the best portrayal of COMICS Joker on screen isn’t the Joker at all.
One of the best looking Jokers was in the fan film Batman Dead End. The acting is Ok but his makeup and expressions are quite effective.
The most interesting relationship in literature, movies, tv and gaming is that of the Batman and the Joker…
The onstar version is legitimately scary looking.
I actually made a tiny little onstar bumper sticker for my mcfarlane flash movie Batmobile because of those commercials because in my eyes the 89 batmobile forever has onstar!
Wow didn’t know booger from revenge of the nerds was the joker. He was really good and he was more like the comic book version. He was great
There are some really off-brand Batman and Joker that are really cool looking
7:30 that Joker looks like he should "dump it."
I'm impressed with the Middle East Joker, that wasn't bad. Why can't we get that guy to do the next version?
7:31 this Joker’s voice gives me Arkham’s Mad Hatter vibes.
thank you this was really interesting there where a few jokers i been trying to figure out where there appeared in
Love that Joker
And I never knew about the Onstar Joker
Thank you for this video
i did a kids party as The joker once...it was like dong 60's joker and heath ledger at the same time...abt different but had fun! we even did a pie gag....
Love that joker 🖤
I swear you’ve made up half these shows.
Not made up, just not worth watching
Dang, no love for Tommy Wiseau's Joker.
The snickers and onstar commercials joker's should have had a movie or tv show because they are awesome and so comic book accurate.
