It would be nice to mention how dim it gets at its lowest setting and how accurate the color temperature is compared to what you set it - if you want 5500k or 3200k can you just set it at those color temperatures and rely on it to maintain the color when you change the brightness.
Wondering if there is a different one since they have one on their site that they claim is all aluminum alloy body. Is the MS60C RGB LED Video Light Handheld Spotlight.
Just checked their website, it seems they have multiple versions of this light now! Very cool. When I made this video I’m pretty sure they only had the 1 RGB Point source version. Already upgrading it seems.
Glad it helped! I didn’t specifically test the fan noise, but I use this light all the time for my videos and it has never bothered me / I have never noticed.
Hi, I'm about to buy my first light and I wanted to buy a SL60 Light, but I noticed in your video that I can use this Neewer CB60 RGB, not only as RGB but regular white light. Did I get it right?
I don’t have personal experience with the Amaran, but I think it depends on your needs. I find the light intensity to be plenty for RGB background splashes and product highlights ☺️
@@JohnCastillo Do you think it would work well enough for simulated sunlight, say with a gobo of venetian blinds, for a talking head type video in a small space?
I just bought this and I'm happy to hear all this, thanks man!
This was an actually pretty good review. Great flow
Thanks! 😄
Just today, I bought it!! Thank you for your friendly time to explain about CB60 RGB LIGT.
📸👍
I just received two of these. They are amazing! The casing is metal. The ends are plastic.
Great video, very well made. Who know why you only have just over 2K subscribers?! With videos like these you will get a lot more!
EXCELLENT REVIEW! THE LIGHT IS ON SALE FOR 150$ RIGHT NOW….BOUGHT 🎉
I recently bought a mini one and it comes with a case! I bought one a few weeks ago.
No way! That’s pretty cool.
@@JohnCastillo Yep, it's the Neewer mini MS60 C and got it for $155.
Im about to buy right now, my videos are about to go even more CRAZY 😜now.... y'all stay tuned!!!
Hell yeah 🙌🏻
Awesome video! You're almost at 1000 subscribers! Keep it up man!
Thanks! Slow and steady 🐢
Woohooo! It's coming in tomorrow
Thank you for try to help us. Life time is always value, If you decide to invest your time helping people doing videos, is simple amazing.
Great review brother!

Nice video. Tempting to add to my toolbox
Dang it, I have to buy it now

Is this good and strong enough for filmmaking/ shorts/ filmmaking?
Also what case would you recommend?
good video good review after I seem this video I ordered one.
Thanks bud! Maybe I really should make some affiliate links!! Haha
Great Video!
Nice video, man!
Thanks! ☺️
Isn't 4 to 5.6 a whole stop brighter?
What’s the other light you have in the beginning to the right of the screen pointed at an angle?
Great video!! this is the best review and I love your audio quality. Congrats
Thanks Vito!! I appreciate it :D
Kinda want this now
Super worth it. Maybe I should make affiliate links 😜
Can this light be focused like a spotlight? Do you need a special attachment?
Thanks for the video!
Yea it can! I use it regularly with the Aputure Spotlight Mount. It is a separately sold attachment.

@@JohnCastillo yea, it seems like the one you have has a bit more power seating at 70 vs 65 the one with aluminum casing.
Now that Amaran 150c and 300c are out, I wonder how does this Neewer stack up to 150c despite being like 50% cheaper and probably not as bright.
I’ve been wondering the same thing 😏
How would this be for product photography? Lighting for toys, furniture, tech, clothes etc.
I've used it a lot for product photography, primarily for my TH-cam thumbnails and b-roll! It's an excellent light for that sort of thing
Thank you for the review.
I was wondering does the CB60 have fan noise?
Glad it helped! I didn’t specifically test the fan noise, but I use this light all the time for my videos and it has never bothered me / I have never noticed.
@@JohnCastillo Thank you!!
How about fan noise?
I didn’t measure it, but it was essentially equal to the Aputure. No noticeable difference.
@@JohnCastillo wow. Thanks !
Have you seen the Colbor 60R ?
No I haven’t, is it any good?
Can you use batteries for this light?? Like a V mount?
Unfortunately not, at least not without buying additional equipment.
Hi, I'm about to buy my first light and I wanted to buy a SL60 Light, but I noticed in your video that I can use this Neewer CB60 RGB, not only as RGB but regular white light.
Did I get it right?
Yup! It has both RGB and CCT (Correlated Colour Temperature), meaning you can do white from 2000 - 7000 Kelvin or something like that! :)
@@JohnCastillo Thank u so much bro, new suscriber
What attachment would you recommend if I wanted to use gobos
The only attachment I’ve used with it is the Aputure Spotlight mount 26. Works like a charm!
Would you still recommend this over the Amaran 150c?
I don’t have personal experience with the Amaran, but I think it depends on your needs. I find the light intensity to be plenty for RGB background splashes and product highlights ☺️
@@JohnCastillo Do you think it would work well enough for simulated sunlight, say with a gobo of venetian blinds, for a talking head type video in a small space?
@@SynthAir For sure! I've used it in that exact configuration before with no problem :)
@@JohnCastillo Awesome! Thank you so much for the info. As a beginner at video that helps me a lot :D
What would be a good case to get to hold this light?
Depending on the rest of your kit, the Neewer Equipment Trolley case could be a great option!
Can you adjust the intensity of the rgb light .?
Yes! You can adjust output, as well as saturation of the colours.
The output of rgb right .? Have you used yongnuo 360iii too .?
@@MrMkariniot exactly. No I haven’t tried the Yongnuo 360
Does it get super hot? Is it decent in a small room ?
Not at all! I had it on for several hours at 100% and it didn’t overheat. Perfect for a small room ☺️
NEEWER is weird dude. Their products are all cheap but like...also fine.
Hi.Can this thing go on batteries?
Not directly, you’d need some sort of Battery that the AC plugs into.
Stereo type opener when TH-camr cannot pronounce brand name... *dies of cringe*
Gotta keep it authentic!
Does it has a rechargeable battery or u have to plug it in to power it?
Has to be plugged in
@@JohnCastillo Do u have any recommendations for one that's similar that has a rechargeable battery for around the same price .
