Thank you for the comment. Yes, it is strange. I am always skeptical when the ‚review‘ is over without a comment about the fan noise. I need a battery powered light for a gig and am trying some solutions. I will try to make a comparison video again. 😀
This review was exactly what I was looking for, as I was considering buying one of these models for video use. All of them were on my list but the Neewer CB60 or CB60B seemed the best choices so far. Much appreciated testing!
Thank you very, very much for this. I always wanted to get the godox but after watching this, I decided to go with the CB60 for the bi colour option, even though the brightness is a little lower. Which Size soft box would you suggest: 55cm or 65? Thank you in advance.
Hi kosmicjedi :) I use a 80cm softbox from Godox, most of the time. Please have a look in the video description. It’s light, cheap & very fast to set up. It will give you a nice soft light.
Hi there. I have a Godox ML60bi and I like it a lot for sure. I may need a second COB light. I see this Neewer MS60B bi and they look very similar but the Neewer is a lot cheaper-almost $100 in Canada. Has anyone been able to compare them? Are they very similar? does the Neewer really have a bowen adapter? thanks
Hi, so you got the Neewer light. How is the quality? Do you still use it? I am on the fence because a lot of people were saying neewer has a very cheap build and breaks down easily.
Hi, I use it on a weekly basis. I have two in my equipment bag and so far they are doing good. We had one very hot day (around 30 degrees Celsius) and I had it on 100% for half an hour in a 80cm softbox. And the fan suddenly got loud. So I turned it down to 50% and increased ISO to compensate. Then it was quiet again. This never happened with the Godox SL60W. This is something to keep an eye on.
@Buy It Use It Break It Fix It NEEWER CB60 RGB 70W LED with App Control €188.49 vs NEEWER CB60 older one with 2.4G Wireless Remote Control €131.99, which one should I buy?
Hi, it really depends on if you need the RGB and or if you rather need a more quiet light source? I don't need the RGB, I have smaller RGB lights that I sometimes use if I need a splash of colours, or I use a filter on my normal light to change colours. But most of my work is done with 5600k light and I love it quiet. I hope this helps. All the best, Mili
Hi David, yes. The question is what modifiers do you want to use and how high does it have to be? Do you need to carry it to locations, does it have to be light? I will link you what I currently use in the description below. And I could do a video about the stands that I use if you like.
Thank you! Nobody really speaks about the noise lights make! I guess not many people understand musical scenarios and such

@@buyituseitbreakitfixit Dude, from where you bought the CB60 for $90 in the EU?
Yes it is. Sorry for the late reply I didn’t see your message.
Could you suggest me a stand for a cb100? Thanks
