  • "White privilege is a fact!"
Activist Femi Oluwole has accused Tory leadership hopeful Kemi Badenoch of ‘supporting racism’ by saying the phrase ‘white privilege’ should not be taught in schools.
After securing 40 votes in the first round of the leadership contest, the Tory MP said: ‘Our party must stand as the party for change. I have the conviction, the courage and the clarity of thought to deliver that change.’

Femi seems to be arguing that its ok to think that (see as a fact) that a "white" skin means you have certain immutable characteristics (privilege, an inclination to oppress others)... characteristics that have nothing to do with you as individual. Whereas to think that having a differently coloured skin means you have no immutable characteristics (put whatever negative stereotypes for "blacks" you like here, Femi is saying "blacks" can't and don't have these).

Words such as racist, sexist, white privilege has been a successful strategy to close down any debate in their favour, they are reliant on this as a means. I think more and more people are getting wise to this strategy and becoming immune to name calling. When I said I no longer supported Labour as it no longer represents my views the person I was engaged with tried to brow beat me into submission with patronage and humiliation. Labour has been taken over by what I call the London left who are predominantly white middle class idealistic peoples, these people are so far remove from the Labour that I was brought up with as Labour is now unrecognisable in its current form.

You don't mind being pushed aside as long as it "helps" someone, whether or not they're deserving of it. More times than not it goes unappreciated because it was something that wasn't earned.
We sit and ponder why our countries are in the mess they're in, while we continue doing the things that got us here.
Our country's history and culture has become meaningless, diversity and multiculturalism have become the mainstay. This is what is now most important even though it's destroying our countries.
To be so full of guilt that one would sell out a country's future, all in the name of multiculturalism and diversity is complete idiocy.
To what do we owe the rest of the world that we'd sell our own childrens future just to appease our guilt for things we're not guilty for?
What I find puzzling is the way that people whine and complain about the way things are, and then go on to uphold multiculturalism and diversity as if it can't be the problem, it mustn't be the problem.
A lot of the problems we now have didn't start until after the gates were opened. Call me racist if you want, the facts speak for themselves although it offends you.

I get up at 3am to go to work some weeks, other weeks I finish at 3am, I work long hours but I’m grateful to have a job. I’ve worked in a warehouse, driven a fork lift and been employed under zero hour contracts. Almost got evicted when I started falling behind on my rent. I’ve been in the working class my entire life. I’m still waiting for my “white privilege” to kick in and make my life easier. Hurry up already!
