Imma be real here: What makes Bonk% infinitely more enjoyable is that Odyssey is on the Switch.
If this was for a Wii/Wii U game, every crash would follow with that infamous *BHHAAAAAAAA* noise that kills all fun.
It doesn't always do that, sometimes it just repeats a section of the sound effects and music
It isn't pleasant but still better

Suggestion: Not just your controls get more sensitive every time you take damage, but the whole game gets faster (i. e. enemies move faster, lava rises faster, NPCs move faster etc.).

I feel like the minecraft mod has potential. Imagine hide and seek but the whole world is breakable

Basically you just drop butter on a dog as fast as possible

Remember reading some of these a while back and thinking of how stupid they were
I would love to see it, that every moon collected gives a random status effect. I.E. faster, slower, jump higher, can't jump, forced capture, or something like that.
I want to see the speed run where if he takes damage he gets faster in full. Is the stream for it on TH-cam or Twitch and if so can someone point me to it?

[Skinner runs to the kitchen, only to find his roast is burnt and gasps in horror]
Skinner: Oh, Egads! My roast is ruined! But what if I were to purchase fast food and disguise it as my own cooking? [chuckles] Delightfully devilish, Seymour.
[He begins to climb through the window, but Chalmers enters the kitchen. The theme song to an imaginary show called "Skinner and the Superintendent" then plays]
Chalmers: SEEEEEYMOOUUURRR!!!
Skinner: Superintendent! I was just...uh---just stretching my calves on the windowsill. Isometric exercise! Care to join me?
Chalmers: Why is there smoke coming out of your oven, Seymour?
Skinner: Uh... ooh! That isn't smoke, it's steam! Steam from the steamed clams we're having. Mmmm, steamed clams!
[Once Chalmers leaves the kitchen, Skinner breathes a sigh of relief, climbs out the window, and runs across the street to Krusty Burger, where buys hamburgers and french fries to replace his burnt roast. He enters the dining room with the fast food on a silver tray.]
Skinner: Superintendent, I hope you're ready for some mouthwatering hamburgers.
Chalmers: I thought we were having steamed clams.
Skinner: Oh no, I said 'steamed hams'. That's what I call hamburgers.
Chalmers: You call hamburgers 'steamed hams'?
Skinner: Yes! It's a regional dialect.
Chalmers: Uh-huh. Eh, what region?
Skinner: Uh...upstate New York.
Chalmers: Really? Well I'm from Utica and I've never heard anyone use the phrase 'steamed hams'.
Skinner: Oh, not in Utica, no. It's an Albany expression.
Chalmers: I see.
[Chalmers takes a bite out of a burger and chews it a little, while Skinner sips his drink.]
Chalmers: You know, these hamburgers are quite similar to the ones they have at Krusty Burger.
Skinner: Hohoho, no! Patented Skinner Burgers. Old family recipe!
Chalmers: For steamed hams?
Skinner: Yes.
Chalmers: Yes, and you call them steamed hams, despite the fact they are obviously grilled.
Skinner: Y- Uh.. you know, the... One thing I should... excuse me for one second.
Chalmers: Of course.
[Skinner enters and leaves the kitchen swiftly upon seeing it is now on fire]
Skinner: [yawns] Well, that was wonderful. A good time was had by all. I'm pooped.
Chalmers: Yes, I should be--good lord, what is happening in there?!
Skinner: Aurora Borealis?
Chalmers: Ah- Aurora Borealis!? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within your kitchen!?
Skinner: Yes.
Chalmers: ...May I see it?
Skinner: ...No.
[They exit the house as the kitchen fire grows larger.]
Agnes: Seymour! The house is on fire!
Skinner: No, mother, it's just the Northern Lights.
Chalmers: Well, Seymour, you are an odd fellow, but I must say... you steam a good ham.
[As Chalmers begins heading home, Agnes screams for help, causing Chalmers to look back towards the house. Skinner gives him a thumbs up and a fake smile, causing him to keep walking away. Once Chalmers is out of sight, Skinner rushes back into the house to deal with the fire.]
Agnes: Help! HELP!!!

Challenge: Capture% Timing starts like normal but ends after you’ve captured every capturable thing at least once. You will have to pay past the credits to get the Goomba and Mario face parts capture
“All Captures” was already a category. It was probably a category very early on.

*"CapThrow% : You can only throw cappy a certain amount of times like for example 30 Cappy throws per kingdom (Twitch chat picks the number. It has to be over 10). You can use them for Captures and Cap Jumps Too. If you run out of Cap Throws you lose.

Mario percent where you have random pictures of Mario pop up on scene and you can't take it off until you've reached the next kingdom

Controller% : every time you finish a story section of a kingdom you change how you play the game. (Example: finish cap kingdom on hand held, switch to on big screen.) "This includes all necessary story moons. And kingdom changes/progression."
This was such a good video. I love the ridiculous ones, especially when they're nothing to do with SMO - the art one was brilliant
Well I think I've learned an important lesson from this video... Fir is 1000% the type to go mad with power, when the opportunity presents itself. It's even more obvious in the "taking damage makes him faster" portion of the video than when he has been a Seeker in SMO Hide'n'Seek.

Name%: You can only capture moons if the first letter of said moon spells your name. Time stops when you touch the ground after the last moon. Collecting the wrong one ends the run and chat decides how you die. If possible, start with all kingdom's unlocked.

Your solutions to all of these are genius, your content is just so fun to watch that I often find myself coming back and watching the videos again, which I very, _very_ rarely ever do.
Especially the subscribe% run, it's the best -ask- legally binding contract for a subscribe I've ever seen.
And that challenge where you get faster whenever you take damage is actually amazing, you should come back to it and do something else with it. Maybe Hide and Seek!

Another great one! I knew the game had been cracked, but modded to this incredible extent. Frankly, Gooma + Cappy is a more interesting skill split than the original! I'd be curious to see wing upgrades for the concept, too.
There is no goomba + cappy he is just using the 2 player mode so he can throw cappy while capturing something

This is not a good idea. Water poisoning is a real thing, and with just the moons alone he’d probably get it, let alone with all the coins as well. Even if it was just a sip each he’d still be unwell by the end, a cup each would actually hospitalize him before he even finished

Every time you get a moon, you must pause the game and move a peice in a separate chess game. If the bot beats you or you get a stale mate, the run is over. If by some miracle you win, then you must restart the chess game and continue the Speedrun.

Take a picture of Mario standing on each kingdom's most iconic landmark.
Idea:every moon gives you a random effect/challenge decided by twitch chat (or yourself if you want)
Example:if twitch chat said mine a chunk should be a challenge when you get a moon or you get slower by getting the moon and bla bla bla (again you can make your own effects/challenges) when you get a moon you spin the wheel of effects/challenges and if you get a effect that effect lasts for the rest of the game...if you get a challenge you must complete that challenge to move on with the speed run (also yes multi moons are 3 spins)

Thinking about it,
it kinda would be hard to compete with the 100% runners,
but it's just an idea.
