- Today I'm playing through Super Mario Odyssey but if I say any word with the letter E in it Mario will explode! This was way harder then I ever would have expected so I hope you enjoy and consider subscribing! Inspired by @PointCrow

The best part about the caveman speak thing is that most of the time he's just omitting "a" or "am" or "will," none of which have E in them anyway.
What a vid! As I'm writing this, I understand how hard it is to form normal sounding strings of words without using that particular symbol. Still, it is not wholly outlandish, so I applaud you for trying! Congratulations on finishing this run, and carry on making amazing art similar to this going forward!

Wow, this is such a good continuity of words in association to fir’s no no-no words saying complication. This is so good that I now got a want to say this contributory of words to say that you did a good job not using a no-no word.
I love he called Peach fruit lady, when could have called her something like Royal Toadstool.
She hasn't been called Toadstool since Mario 64, which is the same game that changed her name through the opening letter (or maybe the Mario cartoons were still running around that time). Nobody calls her that anymore.

"e" is the most common letter in French. However, a guy named Georges Perec wrote a while book without a single e (the book is titled "La disparition", "the disappearance")
And iirc someone translated it to English, again without the letter E

This was a blast to watch, I can only think of how hard it was for Fir, having to avoid using our most common symbol. It's bad on its own that Fir talks too much, but now our lad must triumph through Mario? Truly a daunting task, it's amazing how Fir was victorious. Just shows that a bit of hard work and having guts to walk out of your comfort can bring you a long way in this world. Yo.

That's actually a fairly trivial task to do if you put your mind to it. Having a robust vocabulary assists in doing so, but using small words can work too if you can stay sounding cognizant.

Don't know if it's been tried yet, but you should consider doing a run where if you accidentally do any speedrun strats, you have to restart the whole run. Given how many of them are habit at this point, I imagine it'd be easy to accidentally do something like Klepto skip without thinking about it.

Aoi lived in a small house with her family. Her mom, Airi, was always busy with chores. Her dad was often in the living room, lost in his books. But Aoi had a secret. A curse. Since she was born, she had an unusually long tongue. If she poked it out ten feet, she would explode.
At first, Aoi thought it was funny. She would stretch her tongue, giggling with her friends at school. But soon, she realized the danger. The rule was simple: no tongue, no explosion.
One evening, Aoi sat at the dinner table. Her mom served rice, and her dad shared stories from his work. Aoi felt bored. She had been practicing to keep her tongue in. But temptation was hard to resist.
Her friends had dared her to poke her tongue out at dinner. They said it would be hilarious. Aoi hesitated. Would it be worth it?
She looked at her mom. Airi's eyes were focused on her plate. Dad was laughing at a joke. Aoi felt a rush of excitement. She pushed her tongue out, inching it toward the distance.
"One foot, two feet," she whispered to herself.
Suddenly, she felt a strange sensation. It was like a spark in her stomach. Panic hit her. She pulled her tongue back.
“Are you okay, Aoi?” Airi asked, finally noticing her.
“Yeah, just a little... hungry,” Aoi replied, her heart racing.
But the thrill of almost being caught was intoxicating. The next day, she tried it again. She stood in her room, staring at the wall. Aoi took a deep breath. “Just a quick poke,” she thought.
She stuck her tongue out again. It stretched, reaching toward her desk. “One foot, two feet, three feet…”
Before she knew it, her tongue was ten feet long. Aoi felt the pressure building inside her.
Boom!
The explosion shook the house. Aoi’s room was in ruins. The walls were covered in sticky bits of what used to be her.
Airi and Dad rushed in, eyes wide with horror.
“Aoi!” they screamed.
But there she was, back in her body, untouched. A strange feeling washed over her. She was alive, but something was off.
Days passed, and Aoi couldn’t resist the urge to stretch her tongue. Every time she did, she exploded. Every time she came back.
Her mom, now frantic, tried to keep her distracted. “Let’s bake cookies!” Airi suggested one day.
But Aoi only thought about her curse. She needed to know why.
One night, she searched through old family albums. A photo caught her eye. It was her great-grandmother, Aoi's namesake. A note on the back said, “Beware the tongue curse.”
“Why didn’t anyone tell me?” Aoi whispered.
Frustrated, she went to the living room. Her dad was asleep on the couch. “What do I do?” she asked.
Then a thought struck her. If she never poked her tongue out, maybe the curse would fade.
But the next day, while playing with friends, she couldn’t help herself. They challenged her again.
Aoi took a deep breath. “Just once more.”
With a flick, her tongue shot out.
“Ten feet,” she counted.
Boom!
Again, she exploded. But when she returned, something was different.
Her tongue was longer. Much longer.
In a panic, she tried to hide it. But it was too late. She was trapped in a cycle of explosions. Each time, she came back with a longer tongue.
And then it happened.
On a daring day, Aoi pushed her tongue out twenty feet. The pressure built, but this time, she felt a shift. Instead of exploding, she transformed.
Her tongue wrapped around the room. She could feel everything. The walls, the floor, the air.
Aoi wasn’t just Aoi anymore. She was a force.
“Mom! Dad!” she called. “I’m free!”
But they didn’t understand. They only saw the chaos.
“Help!” her dad shouted, trying to pull her back.
“No! This is what I needed!” Aoi yelled.
Suddenly, she realized the truth. The curse had given her power.
She could feel the world around her.
Her parents, frightened, ran. Aoi watched them go, a mix of sadness and freedom swelling in her heart.
From then on, Aoi embraced her new self. She no longer feared the explosion. The curse had made her stronger.
And as she pulsed with energy, she understood-sometimes, the things that scare us the most can set us free.
