It is, kind of. MH is an Action RPG(Action Adventure Game maybe?). Something akin to Darksiders or God of War, mainly action with RPG elements like stat blocks, level ups, equipment upgrades etc.

Yeah I've played the game 500 hours and I played the first one on the PSP for about 400 and I would never call this game an rpg.
the 2K award winner looks like someone spent an hour in a character creation screen, got frustrated, and ended up moving the leg sliders to maximum.

I've been a gamer, even a PC gamer, since I was 3 and I'm 27 now.
I've watched MTV way back in the day, Tech TV, and the conversion of Tech TV to G4TV then to Cops.
Never have I ever heard of MTV's Game Awards, and I regret hearing of it now.
Ultimate Powa That was 12 years after "back in the day." MTV was _total_ shit, by then, minus Beavis and Butt-head, which woulda been awesome, on _any_ channel. _120 Minutes_ was fucking trash, with one of the biggest, fatass douchetards, ever, running that show as though he knew fuck one about music.
MTV was _already_ total corporate, by then, for years. When it started, DEV-O was the heaviest, in rotation, because they had about eight videos already made, being at least a half-decade ahead of the times, at all times. Well, perhaps DEV-O had fewer minutes onscreen than ads for Hills department store having the hits, (on) LPs or cassettes, which played after every video, in year one -- which meant every other thing shown on that channel, then.

Just what videogame awards needs...Identity Politics
Identity politics is the only hope many of them have of getting laid. Identity politics allows ugly creepy dudes the ability to put on a dress and harass lesbians into having sex with them.
I actually don't like the phrase "content creator" when applied to streamers. They're not creating "content", they're simply recording gameplay for the most part.
That's why I don't watch streams, I have more fun playing something myself. If I do watch recorded gameplay, it's on my other monitor to glance at while actually playing something myself.

The content is the reactions, skill, and sometimes personality of the streamer during the stream.
@@Kankle That's nice and all, but they "created" their content as much as a news reporter does. The stuff was there whether they did their or not, so crediting them with "creating" it seems like an extreme reach to me. Most streamers are simply actors and entertainers. If a streamer actually wrote scripts, developed characters, rendered models, baked goods, or whatever I'd go along with calling them "creators". Similarly, you'll have trouble convincing me that Hollywood actors "make" movies. No, actors and streamers are just a link between actual creators and consumers.
To be fair I sometimes watch but I don't pay for it I just look at TH-cam footage like it's a Gundam while he's talking. The reason why is later on I might decide to play some of those games myself especially the Indie titles. Sometimes I like to watch someone playing to get a feel for what they think of the game and if I would agree or not. For example there's Ross's game dungeon cv11 game dungeon. I find those are good ways to figure out what a game is. I mean I don't have a console and don't mind stumbling around blindly to find a good game but sometimes the posters and the cover can be very misleading. Better someone else take the plunge first as I see it. Maybe that's why I don't go for twitch streamers or the other stuff out there. Other times I might watch something like Larry Bundy Jr or the Angry Video Game Nerd just to see how the other side lives or the history to some games considering I've never owned a console and have no intentions of such. It does give me an Insight however into what I might have missed from Years Gone by or an idea what might come around later on. While good for leads however I do think that one should not invest in watching someone play a game. After all that money could be used to buy said game or you could always give it to a charity. Or here's a really great idea invested in keeping your life going. One has to remember not everyone can throw down $50 for the latest game or brick there console or for that matter if you're like me even buy a console. You might wind up just using a PC that's over five years old and trying to keep it running. In which case yeah best not to waste your money more than you need to. If you're rich however I guess you can buy all the games to your heart's content. Of course then again that might be what wines up making the game industry stay around and fall to even New Heights. Just remember it only fails upward until it all crashes and burns.

But as of late i feel very rotten and hollow inside and i miss my mother terrebly as she is the sole reason i am who i am today. The thought of that i could not do it to her, to not come home kept me going and to not give up when things did not look good.

That furry winning the award was one of the cringiest sights I've ever witnessed in my entire life. That made me feel soo godd about myself its unbelievable.

However, since everyone, EVERYONE was talking about him, I had to see who he was. And he was a great player on EVO, on DB Fighterz and Injustice 2. Yeahhh, two games I skipped, since I preffer to play Guilty Gear and Melty Blood (The old ones). So yeah, his sayings is what made me know of him. If not, I wouldn't have given two f.cks about him. Well looks like another year of building up the retro collection is coming up. This year long shit tornado has done wonders for my backlog. Someone bought me Fallout 76 as a gift when it came out and it motivated me to clean my house after realizing the alternative was Fallout 76.

Me being a "PC only" Gamer, I'm only looking to play: Cyberpunk 2077,Metro: Exodus, Death Stranding in 2019- 95% of the PC games this year in (2018) are very bad not worth wasting my time playing. I noticed most of the PC games had cut content & were resold as DLC.(Farcry 5,Hitman 2..ect).
It's sad to say... but it might be time for me to find a new hobby like watching "Anime", (2018) had horrible PC games vs 2008-2010!
