When TH-cam published the new rules for monetisation a while back, they had a specific rule saying that your video will get demonetised if you're making videos about depression, suicide prevention and other mental health issues. This is something YT seems to misunderstand, they are in control here, not the advertisers. Sanitising the content will drive the audience away and they advertisers will follow them.

On the real, thank you for talking about depression in an honest, candid way. I was diagnosed with chronic depression and anxiety in 6th grade and I’m 35 now. I been through hell but the last two years have been the best of my life...finally had some serious breakthroughs and got on the right medications. It took me 20+ years to get here but I’m glad I didn’t give up. I’m really thankful to have found a guy on youtube that actually gets it (the fuck outta here with that better help shit). Point is, if you do struggle with mental illness, (and I mean actual diagnosed mental illness, not this bullshit trend of people looking for sympathy by blasting shit out on social media about how sad they’ve been for a few days), listen to Gundam. Do whatever you can to get in front of a professional. Don’t just settle for the first person you come across, be selective and find someone that you vibe with. I know money can be tight but it’s so important to invest in that shit because it really is life or death. I been seeing the same lady for 20 years now and she’s incredible. I don’t think I’d still be around without her and my family and the grace of God. So I just wanted to say thank you, Gundam. You make me laugh every single day with your videos and if I’m having a rough go of it you always cheer me up. God bless you, brotha. You’re in my prayers.

They added more animators which needed some love with the work they put in, that girl that was talking about her comments when she was sick.
