Let me tell yall a little story: When it was first released, I really wanted to get it just to play as Emmett and get him to shout profanities at people. I went to the store but I was too young to buy it myself, and I also didn't have a PS4. I finally got a PS4 in 2018 and it was the Cod WW2 with a driving game, I could only play the driving game because now all Cod games require damn WiFi. I was finally able to buy a new PS4 game but I got sick so I asked my dad to go out with my money and buy Evolve. I was watching a lot of Evolve gameplay and got hyped AF for it, my dad returned with the money but no game. He told me that the cashier advised not to buy it because it was basically dying. My dad, who is basically the boomer of millennials, asked what they meant, I told him that it was basically like no one watching a certain movie anymore. He apologized and gave me the money, I then got Agents of Mayhem. P.s: I don't care if Evolve is dead or the servers are down, I want to play it for shits and giggles.

When it comes to feet and inches the imperial system uses a base 12 system, so instead of counting by 10's (as in the metric system) you count by 12's. Therefore a foot unlike a meter can be cleanly divided by two, three and four - which for a carpenter or tailor makes it the better unit to work with It also makes rough estimations easier for non scientific or engineering purposes...
I have a theory to stop skipping songs. When you skin a song a few times your brain will conect the sounds with the action. So you are training yourself to skip the song everytime. So if you don't want to skip songs you need to ignore the urge the skip it or a few seconds and then the song is fire again.

The reason America hasn’t changed into the metric system is simply time and money. The metric system didn’t exist yet, and it would take a lot more resources than the extremely young nation had to change into metric. From there, costs only got more extreme as the US grew larger and the US gathered too much debt.
However, the US is secretly metric. Construction for roads and buildings, scientific endeavors, and basically everything else starts as metric and then is converted to imperial, if it is converted at all.

6:02 tbf, this universe is seen as the most unique universe in both dc and marvel, for how both multiverses coincide with other multiverses at people's disposal
in most other universe, there's a single set of characters specific to that universe, and no one else, but this universe is the only one where i can fully imagine and even introduce my own universe to this one, but present it as a fictional setting, despite it probably being a real universe
also, canonically (at least for marvel) if any character transfers to this universe, they'll lose all their powers since this universe has a strict set of rules or something like that
At least we have less super villains we still have Putin and Kim Jong Un and more but at least we have 10 instead of 20 although ours take decades to defeat and if we try to do it early the world ends and as far as we know we dont have plot armor and we have had several people attempt to take over the world like in marvel or DC

I became a drug addict years later.

“Do their own thing” the imperial system was made by, one of he countries in Europe, probably England, and the whole world used it basically, before changing to metric, so not as much chose their own thing, as refused to except new things

I got my first 'real' electronic- meaning it had internet access, no 30-minute screen time restrictions (the things would literally block the screen with a popup after my time ran out- died and lost all my items in Minecraft that way lol), and wasn't filled with 'educational' games- at 15. It was a very cheap laptop. I also got my dad's old mouse, one of the wireless ones with a little ball you move with your thumb to manipulate the cursor- the ball had a dent and would get stuck all the time. It was maddening.
And that same year, my 8-year-old brother got a brand-new chromebook. And a new wireless mouse, same little ball thing, but without a Mentally Destabilizing dent, also happening to be a newer version than mine.
And I was just like *WHAT THE FU-*
