This reminds me, I was just telling my friend the other day that I feel like the reason technology just suddenly boomed so fast in the last couple hundred years, is because we finally, for the MOST part, stopped slavery and conquest of other nations. And the thing is, imagine, just imagine if our ancestors hadn't kept warring, taking over ooother nations, and then beating their culture and technology out of them to make them forget. What if instead, people had shared technology and ideas, and not said "what these people here are doing, is sinful to our religion, so we need to strip them of it and make them like us". How many civilizations invented planes thousands of years ago only to be wiped out by Britain or something, and that's the only reason it took this long for us to fly. I'm convinced that technology advancing directly correlates to people fighting for human rights and equality. We know ancient peoples built amazing things that we don't know how to build today, why? Because we made them forget their history and language so no one would learn how to build those amazing innovations. It's heartbreaking how advanced humanity could be if we had stopped destroying each other millenia ago. Here it is 2022 and people still won't stop trying to destroy other groups of people, holding ourselves back, imagine how many geniuses with new ideas to save humanity, are starving in the gutter or prisoners in a war right now. Our need to dominate is what has kept us so weak and simple as a whole.

While, if you're able to leave on a small amount of money, then it's easier to appreciate small things in life, such as family, sports, hobbies etc. Considering the fact that the vast majority of wealthy people have earned their money and didn't just get a gifted to them, people who are rich typically don't have time to spend with their families or on their hobbies and this also makes them more depressed over time. Wealth is fleeting, and blaming the rich as if wealth is a limited resource is one of the main reasons some poor get depressed. Essentially, if you're poor in America and don't want to be, there are three things to do: 1. Graduate highschool 2. Marry BEFORE having kids, getting married in a traditional style marriage helps young couples become financially stable and waiting to have kids till the contract is signed is a good indicator of true investment in said contract 3. As someone who games for 9 to 12 hours daily, I can confidently say it grows boring after about a week but after 5 months you stop noticing the negatives mostly. I get blinded when I walk upstairs, I am constantly dehydrated, and my body has atrophied to the point where I cant lift a 60 pound child off of me, I am 20.
