Stayed at Hotel Jerbourgh a while back and had a fantastic stay beautiful room and view looking over to Herm Sark and Jersey. Have gone into coffee shop a few times since coming back on holiday great coffee lovely atmosphere and great cakes etc.😊 .
Was over last week Ross, fully recommend the Longfrie and village east, great food both, the wife preferred Catherine Best, my wallet didnt, keep up the good work xx.
I spent my childhood in Guernsey and have been back many times after moving to Canada. In 2018 I was walking with two canes as I had had an accident, I saw the kiosk had a disabled toilet, but it was locked so I asked for the key, the woman was so rude, telling me I should have a key if I was disabled, I told her I was usually not, she was amazingly insensitive. I went to the hotel, explained what had happened and said that I was not staying there, but did they have a disabled toilet I could use. Without exception the people I spoke with were so kind and helpful, they were a pleasure to be with. It was the only time in Guernsey that I had had come across such nastiness, but the people at the hotel made up for it. Lesley, Victoria, BC. Canada.
Most beautiful part of your island, Ross, hope to come back next year to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, having been married there on 21st June 1975..
I took a friend from Austria to my home in Guernsey and showed him St Martin´s Point (i.e. Jerbourg Point). He called it "The End of the World" (for us Guernseymen). Then I took him to Pleinmont. He called it "The Other End of the World"...
My stomping ground when I was younger, hiking around the south coast cliffs. The sea fog rolls in quickly, and the views disappear as you hear the horn blast out from St.Martins point below. Have you run up the steps to jerbourg, now that will test your fitness.
Yes, it is the site of the former Idlerocks Hotel. I have stayed a couple of times at the Hotel Jerbourg. I havd had some good rooms & one that was awaiting a bathroom refurbishment. Staff very friendly when I have been here (pre Covid) & good food. Great coffee shop. 😀🫖🍰

We stayed in the jerbourg a couple of times, and for the price wasn't value for money, so we use Le friquet now, and they have a superb Sunday dinner
Nice footpath starting at Jerbourg along south coast. You are lucky with a so nice weather. Lot of rain in France.

Jerbough car park popular. Parked in it plenty of times. Visited open gardens down the lane.
