I still absolutely love the extra big newsboy (big apple). My grandfather would let me wear it as a child, being a tom boy I hated to wear dresses and it was easy to put my hair up in a bun (I have very long hair) and tuck it away. Then I could go into town with him and it felt cool people couldnt always tell I was a girl at first until I lift the hat and my hair fell out lol. Great memories. Five generations on we still rock all types thanks to his love of caps and hats.

The JJ gatsby comes in black brown navy burgundy, and the big apple comes in brown herringbone, grey herringbone, brown tweed, grey tweed, solid black, brown,navy, the JJ newsboy is not easy to get, we get them sporadically, there’s a newer one called “The Joel” that is the same width as the Jj newsboy and it’s a little nicer, but that’s it.. no other colors yet. until summer.. then the linen stuff comes in.. we get the big apples in linen, and the dockside newsboys..
Both The ramble and orchard are slightly slimmer than the dockside, but not much, they’re close. I’ve sold at least a half dozen orchard newsboys to Bruce Willis, he likes them.. the orchard runs a little tight though, and the dockside runs a little bit big
I was hoping to learn the actual diameter of the crowns. It is one of the things I pay attention to when buying a newsboy. I now have two, the docker and the middle size baggy cap. What is the diameter of your big apple's crown?
guys ı have good news ,finally ı got my stetson hatteras herringbon ,black.It is stylish classic and timeless, but it writes no hand wash no machine wash no dry clean no no no .How can ı clean it ? note: made in bulgaria
I would hand wash the sweatband and the lining only. dry on a towel away from heat, they all say different things, but this is the only way. Don’t wet the peak. Only the sweatband and lining.

I like medium width. I have few wide ones which look cool but not my everyday one. Hats might be addictive I probably have over 50 or 60 of them.
I have the "Jaxon and James co" wool newsboy Cap with double snap to the peak/visor.
So it was interesting to see the difference in these styles
i love my jaxon and james newsboy caps mine are sewn down on the front no snaps.
