GM LS Tuning with LS-Droid & TunerPro

I see a lot of confusion on various online forums regarding how LS-Droid and TunerPro (and TunerPro RT) can be used to read, modify and write calibration data from and to supported GM LS PCMs. This video explains the basics of those operations. It does NOT go into performance tuning.

I made this video because I kept seeing so many questions posted on the LS Droid Facebook page from folks who were confused about what functions were possible with LS Droid and Tuner Pro. I’ve done a bunch of LS swaps and it’s honestly really easy to get these engines running with these tools.

what obdx dongle should i use for custom cammed gen3 5.3,also can i tune it with android cellphone?

@@WilfredGreen-ov8bh I used the OBDX Pro VX. Disclaimer - I have only done basic tuning on a stock 5.3 so I can’t really shed any light on the tuning you need to do. I use LS Droid and Tunerpro RT on a Windows laptop. It seems like tuning on a cellphone would be challenging.
