I love this story as I was a claims adjuster for 20 years I am opening a P&C agency this month. I loved to hear how you are doing now. I understand responding to emails at midnight!

Normally love C.A. but I’m starting to notice a trend. The header says “Sales tips” and 22m into 26m segment I’m not really sure any tips were given… the most significant piece was his contact info.

Cody I work in direct outbound sales (corporate call center) for large P&C company. Do you provide any training for call center agents or is your target audience only agency owners? Also how are all these people getting their own agency book of business when these companies ask you to have A-1 credit and $100K min investment capital or liquid cash on hand? How can a regular company woman like myself transition to my own agency and still have the job security I have now? Any advice?

I just was licensed and appointed with Allstate a few weeks ago. I’m trying to build my client base and I think referrals are important too I just received my business cards and was going to send a couple to each of my clients but should I offer some kind of $10 gift card for each referral or just ask for referrals?

Check the guidelines in your State some have descent laws $20 to consumers can go along way you’re boss should cover the gift cards especially if the referrals close. But if you’re not allowed to give a referral gift just ask anyone anyway you still get them congrats on the new role.
