Holy hell , I used the script (revamped it a little since I don’t drop things off ), AND IT WORKED. I called out and the person on the other end of the line didn’t even speak. But I went with the script regardless and he stared talking and asking me to quote it. I WAS IN CONTROL AND IT FELT AMAZING
Yup. When calling for an appointment, never give them something to say "No" to. The more you tell them, the more things they can say "No" to. And if you explain anything at all, they think they know enough to make a buying decision. Outstanding training. And pauses are traps that absolutely beg the prospect to say "No". And I agree. Certainty in your voice stops most objections.
Hey Cody. Great tips as always. One thing tho, when we mention “dropping off” something I find the prospect feels they don’t need to be present. They will say something like “whenever” or “I’m not gonna be home so it doesn’t matter “ Is there a way around to somehow let the prospect know they need to be present when I “drop off” the info? Thanks again! Jennifer
Lot's of great ideas here man! Where can we get this newer script Cody? I subscribed to the sales training on your site and it only had your much older script with a lot of stuff different than this one. Thanks
Hey Cody, You've helped a lot keeping me motivated. Also, what do you mean end the phone calls with a question? Making calls right now and stuck on what questions I should be asking at the end of the conversation? Clarity and some examples would help
Hey Alysha, thanks for the kind words and for watching my videos! If you're available I'd love for you to hop on a quick call with my guy Derek. I think you could benefit a lot from some of the coaching platforms I have available... to answer your question though, the way to stay in control of the phone call is to always ask a question after speaking. It could be something as simple as "That sounds good to you, doesn't it?" or "That's important to you, am I right sir?" Would love to hop on a call sometime and help you more if you're interested.
Cody , Can you please explain what did you choose in video when you start fresh as insurance agent, what type of agent you start as : P&C or life or something else and why. GOD BLESS!!
Here's a video I shot of what exactly I would do as an insurance agent if I had to start over, this may answer some of the questions you're asking: th-cam.com/video/zsyRHrdEiPE/w-d-xo.html
I am new in the insurance but my boss told me to come up with how many appointments I would be making a day .i am abit skeptical I don’t want to sound lame ..please help
Cody, I have been following you and your videos help me so much. First DM appointment is today! My question is this, it takes me a few dials to get into a groove, what can I do to start out the gate faster?
I would abide by all local laws and regulations and take the advice of health professionals... but also don't let COVID be an excuse to not be successful. There's other ways to still keep your activity high without door knocking.

Instead of "We're getting back to you....", I've been using "Your name came across my desk...". Its been working so far.

Why not just say "in person" when mentioning you dropping off the information?
I’m working from assurance now I’ll use those things , thx a lot
great work cody .......
Hi Cody, During Covid is there an alternative to #4? Some do not want an in person drop off.
Thank you in advance for your response! Looking forward to purchasing your leads.
When you did the call nights, I'm assuming this was when you were young in the business? Where did your nameflow for those calls come from?
This is good advice, thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
You rock! More blessings to you Cody 🙏
Thanks Alex!
Thanks, Cody! Awesome Training!

What if you do not know the person you are calling?

Do several "practice" calls either with another agent, someone you're close with, or using aged leads!
This is awesome!
Thanks!
This is really informative, Cody. I am excited to do this once I’m done with my trainings. God bless😇
You got this!
How do you door knock during covid. India has 80,000 cases a day. I want that commission Cheque but my life or their life isn't worth it right?

Any time
