Had an unexpected team meeting this morning, like got notified 20 minutes before the meeting. Then went out prospecting, though I'm predominantly in Telesales because of a lack of my own transportation. But, car or not, working out of my home is something I have dreamt of for over 20 years as someone who has been in the transportation industry, and only recently was fly almost every day of the week. I watch your videos and have found tremendous value in them, but as I got home today, I saw this video and was immediately interested, as it focused on tele sales. I've watched this video close to 6 times today, and appreciated your guest talking about the psychology of sales, which is something I started to learn about learning copywriting. I sell employee benefits to companies, and often get those quick objections a few seconds into a call, and those are by far the biggest obstacles for me, being a cold caller. I've had my license for a month, but this is a long term career choice for me, so any fruitful help is appreciated.
Thank you! thank you! thank you! Bomb 💣 information and entertained as well....... A must see !!!!!! 19:00 a don't quit mind... " YOU ASK EARLY, BUT TELL LATE" Cody do a video on this topic, just the comment got me like whoaa
Glad you enjoyed the episode Leslie! Thank you for watching and commenting 🙏 And great idea about the video topic.. I'll try to do a video about that soon
what company is the best to work for? I want to start asap. I want to work with a company with high commission, easy access to leads at a goo cost, and also has a program to teach you what you need to know all about insurance?
Ive really struggled alot with clients who already have a ton of life insurance . I usually compliment them on setting it up and try to build them up for doing it then move on. But i dont know if its working. Cody what do you do when someone is saying they already have life insurance and dont need anymore?
On phone calls people can simply hang up on you. In person people are less likely to be rude. They may give you a few minutes for you to pitch your product then maybe show you the door.
I loved listening to Greg, but he was never able to answer the common objection of "I don't have time...." just the polar bear joke. . . which I liked but what else should I say to the objections?! leaving me hanging a bit.
Insurance will take care of you and your loved ones in the long run. While Investments will take care of your and your loved ones now and in the immediate future or even longer as you keep investing
To be completely honest. I’m aware there is no one answer for objections. This guy just talked about what to do if someone “doesn’t have time” and didn’t explain how to over come anything. He literally said he reverse engineered his thinking so that he can see the moment as an opportunity to learn. Then proceeds to not say what he says to someone who claims they “don’t have time”. Just burnt up 30 minutes of my life waiting on that.
He did answer that question. “Your time is valuable too.” In other words, agree with him because you’re busy as well and maybe set-up a face2face appointment. Thats what I do. But work it how you can. If he didn’t have the time, he wouldn’t had answered the phone. That simple. Understand your clients and don’t push, pull.
A gentle word of caution to Christians: The universe doesn't send things unless it's an inadvertent asteroid or a comet or solar radiation. The universe is the creation, not The Creator. "Mother nature" doesn't create or give or bless - the Earth, and the Cosmos are elements of physical material being governed by natural laws, or Newtonian physics. They are tangible physical creations, not abstract conscious deities, in line with esoteric practice. Why are so many of these sales and motivational and development videos laced with Eastern Paganism? The book "The Science of Getting Rich" opens with an open acknowledgment to pagan practices and ideologies. Manifesting, all of it seems to be essentially repackaged paganism. The ability for the human subconscious mind is profoundly powerful and can have an incredible impact on one's circumstances and reality, outside of pagan eastern ideologies. The act of asking or inviting the universe, or nature or the Earth for help and favor and provision is basic idolatry a la blunt goddess worship (i.e., Gaia) or pagan diety worship (i.e., Vishnu ) From an atheistic perspective, it's perhaps a mode of tricking your subconscious into action. However, from a spiritual perspective, as a Christian, you're arguably playing with fire.
"the universe either sends you the person to help them or to get better". With this mindset, you're never losing. Great stuff
Absolutely!
The universe? Humans revolve around what’s in space, I don’t think so 🤣

My top 3 objections in telesales
1) price too high
2) not comfortable giving SS
3) not comfortable giving banking info
If they answer the phone
You don't want to insure the wrong person is what I say to get past the social objection
that's good

That's so awesome! The universe is sending you someone, either to help out, or make you better.
Soooo glad I just found you! On the road to selling insurance so I’ll be studying you & planning on attending the 4 week program! See you there! 🙃
Awesome! See you there 🔥
I do nothing but phone sales and it’s all about you as the person that can make it personal. If you treat transactional than you won’t be successful.
Agreed.. thanks for the comment Adrian!

Loved this one, thank you
Biggest objection after the one mentioned is I already have insurance.
Follow up with “that’s great! I’m glad you have seen the importance of putting that coverage in place. When was the last time you reviewed it?”
@@K1ngSur0 ohh that's pretty juicy, why didn't I think of that? lol. Thanks!
“Okay, that’s great! You must have gotten that to protect your assets, right? Perfect now all you need is something for your final expenses”
❤ thank you Cody!
This was terrific
Thank you!

Title of next book: "Get off the roof!"

Didn't learn a lot about telesales too much small talk
Cody talks way too much! His ego is too big! We want to hear more from the speakers.
People are human 😆.
Cody, ngl, let the dude speak lol
I am not interested
Have no time
Hey Cody, you don't need to constantly respond to every single word that Greg utters out of his mouth, Stop saying YES to everything, quite annoying!
Some people thrive on criticism
