    One thing I’ve noticed that I love about our man Brian is the way he talks about injuries or issues he brings up is always from a really genuine place wanting to help others. He never comes into anything trying to get one over on someone make a buck or exploit anything. Each video just seems like him sharing his knowledge with his ever growing BrianBros family. I think a lot more people on social media can learn from that. Just do your job don’t always try to one up someone or act like some big star. Doc I've been wondering the SAME thing. I've been fixated on that particular video; I landed hard on an extended leg and had an isolated posterolateral corner reconstruction. One of my symptoms before surgery was that I had several more degrees of hyperextension in my injured leg and it felt like I could stretch forever if I tried. Even now I have maybe 1 or 2 extra degrees in my surgery leg but I'm only 3 months post I'm hoping quad strengthening will help that.
    It's crazy not only how so many different structures can get wrecked in the knee, but how some people can cope with the damage they have.

    • @Camzeyy
      @Camzeyy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@tshimologokgosi7340 through experience, I really can't believe how much pain there can be from a simple muscle imbalance. I've had moments where I had sharp back pain daily for months, and I finally decided maybe there is a muscle imbalance. I did a glute/ hamstring focused workout and haven't had back pain in months and the fix was instant. Same with my chest. I use to get bad pain in my armpit thinking I was going to tear my pec... I strengthened my traps and upper back, and it was fine instantly and has been gone since. Another common example people have is shin splints and doing that exercise where u raise your toe so like the opposite of calf raises. Knee pain is another super common one. When your quads are stronger than. your glutes and hamstrings, the knee joint gets pulled to the front of the socket, causing that pain when u bend or squat. So basically, your muscles (when relaxing) are always pulling and holding your joints and bones into place, so if there is a muscle that is too strong in comparison to another, even when it is relaxed it will be pulling harder and moving the joints / bones to a position where they are not comfortbaly sitting. They could be rubbing up against something and caused inflamation or maybe pinching a nerve idk. Im no anatomy genius, but I've had my fair share of imbalances and learned through them. When u have pain in one area for a long time, it's not that it won't heal... its because the injured area is in a compromised position. Without any knowledge of how your body works, the best thing to do is just exercviuseas and isolate every muscle around the injured area

    I think he probably had multiple small tares. That man is stuff as nails, I re watched the series a month or so after the finals. The amount of times he went to grab his knee after a strong drive or going up for a rebound speaks for itself. To go out and do what he did was incredible, makes you think what these guys are getting shot up with when you hear stories about NFL players playing through injury's.

    my knees can naturally hyperextend and i always feel very endangered to this kind of injury. because should i land with my knee hyperextended, it would 100% snap backwards due to the lever effect of the entire leg. But leg strengthening has really improved this paranoia and danger.

    sheesh, that's a HUGE risk for him to take, glad it all worked out. He played excellent on that injury as well, truly a GREEK FREAK.
    If he'd had got knocked out by Crowder defending that shot, Crowder would have seen massive backlash from everyone. I mean look at him kick his leg out, there's a reason that awkward motion is now against the rules and you can no longer kick your legs out to draw contact. That would have not been good for Jae had something serious happened to Giannis's knee
