Michelle, I have had a finger that hangs up at the joint. I have done this routine twice today. The hangup ia going away. My MD was getting ready to send me to a hand surgeon. I play string instruments and don't want any finger-joint hangups. Thank you for your video ! I'll let you know if the fix seems to be permanent.

Thank you so much, greatly appreciate something small that can be done for someone that has a bad case of Rheumatoid Arthritis. I'm having difficulty moving my fingers but by doing the above it actually opened things a little bit to make it easier. I'm hoping that by doing this in the morning will help my fingers and wrists a little more often. I greatly appreciate finding this helpful video. Thanks again!

I just had my cast removed for about a week after a wrist fracture, these exercises are very helpful and regained great degree of flexibility in my fingers, thank you so much. However, after each exercise when I stopped moving for about 20 min, my fingers stiffened again and back to square one. Is this normal? How can I retain the flexibility I had gained?

I play piano professionally and just recently started feeling stiff in my arms after playing some intense gigs recently and I learned how important it is to play your instrument in a very relaxed position and also to not overplay while you’re playing.
These exercises helped loosen up my arms and I think I’ll start using these as part of my warm up routine

I can't bend my wrist backwards to bring my fingers up.
My fingers are curved forward a little bit so that first exercise I can't even make them straight.
Do you have any exercises for that type of range of motion? I don't even know what has caused this!

Hi, The excersises are good and help. When the fingers feel more comfortable I put them to use which often sets the fingers back with pain. Could you suggest a way to not hurt them on the recovery short off not using the fingers? Due to my work being with the hands it is difficult to avoid the usual movements such as brushing, packing and general manual work. I think it is a tendern issue with the middle finger of the R hand. Possible the same with the little finger of the right hand although this finger triggers. Thank you, Mark

I love your videos, especially the ones about trigger finger since I had trigger finger on the ring finger and resultant surgery a year ago. (Also a nodule developed under where the surgery was. ) Now I have another one on the same hand- middle finger. I do light weights and exercise bands 6 days a week, and I’m wondering if grasping the weights and bands could be injurious to my fingers? Should I stop using these?Btw, I’m a 77 year old female. Thank you❣️

thanks for the video. I work from home and on computer a long time. I am constantly trying to wiggle my fingers because they feel kinda of weird and did not know what it was. My roomate even noticed it and commented on why I'm now always moving my fingers strangely and I started to think something was wrong. So it seems my fingers are over worked. Hopefully by incorporating these exercises I won't be having those weird finger movements any longer. Let me know.
