I don't even go to my GP anymore. I Just come on here. Everything you suggest works. I couldn't hear out of one of my ears for months. Nothing I was prescribed by several gp's and ear specialist worked. I stumbled on your channel by accident. I watched a video to release congestion. It worked with hours and the issue is almost gone thanks to you. I'm truly grateful! ❤

For 5 years, I thought I had a tumor growing in my neck. I’ve had persistent pain for the last 5 months and just knew it had grown large enough to compress my nerves and cause cervical radiculopathy. A physician recommended this video and my life is forever changed. An hour after doing a few of the exercises, I FELT my muscles relax. I woke up pain free for the first time in months. 3 days after doing these exercises before bed, the knot in my SCM was GONE! I wept! All of my anxiety, fear, and pain…gone. I can get back to my hobbies, make it through the work day, and take care of my home. Thank you so much for sharing this with us!

Yes. But with me it was a brain tumor!!!! I started getting headaches at 72. Never had headaches unless they had come along with fever flu etc.
      I have tinnitus....it's very troublesome.....but finding out I don't have a brain tumor is great....and a little silly!!!!...
      Thanks for your comment!!

I'm a retired medical massage therapist(almost 30 years of practice). I was trained to care for this muscle. The therapy was complicated and not really teachable for self care at home for the average patient. This therapy is amazing. My neck was broken at age 2. Tinnitus has been a constant companion since. It has been so loud in the last year. I added some cross fiber therapy on the masseter(large jaw muscle) and the loudness of the tinnitus has steadily diminished! Thanks be to God! Such a relief! Thank you Doc!!!

Nothing worked or was only ever temporary. I just completed these exercises and my neck feels so loose and the pain is slowly releasing. I'm so amazed. I am shocked at the relief I feel after just trying this ONCE. I've been having headaches for a year and a half and have been to so many different doctors with no success.....PC, ENT, Neurologist, ortho, dentist (mouth piece for grinding), massage therapist, Chiro. I've had many different RX's also...no success. I even had surgery removing one inch of the artery on each side of my head...neuro doctor thought I might have temporal arteritis...tested negative and my hair finally grew back. I even had an ablation performed on my lower neck/shoulder area. Nothing has helped. Tonight I feel that there is hope for the pain I have endured all this time, to be relieved and maybe gone, at least lessened. Thank you Dr. Mandell. Wish you lived near me. I would become your patient.

I really have a terrible body posture since my teenage age. It was due to chest pains i had as a child that made me bend in to ease the tension. Is there anyway i can correct this posture? I dont think 23 is too old to correct the posture, i just dont know how. It makes me too exhausted to work effectively

    • @everleighxoxox
      @everleighxoxox 10 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

@@Redeemed-youththere are lots of videos for correcting posture. One stretch/exercise I learned for correcting a hunched over posture is to stand tall like a T, with your arms straight out to the sides, 90° angles. Open your hands and face your palms almost upwards, you wanna basically be opening your arms wide and up if that makes sense. Then, while keeping your chin tucked in, try tilting your head back as far as you can. It’ll give you a great stretch and you should do this multiple times per day as an exercise.
I don’t know if your posture is even hunched forward or not, I would assume so based on what you explained, but if it is, then you want to do stretches and exercises that open up your chest area, front of your neck and shoulders/arms. All those muscles get tight and stiff after so long of hunching forward.
So regardless of your posture issues, follow the same general advice. Stretch and open up, and strengthen the muscles that aren’t being used, whichever way you tend to lean, whether it’s forward, backward, or sideways. But again, there are tons of posture correction videos on here. Good luck!!

Professional Driver since 2008, I've been suffering from painful stiff neck issues on a regular for all these years, that have contributed to other very painful symptoms of the neck. I've been looking for neck exercises I can do to help relieve, stretch, and strengthen weak neck areas.
I did these tonight, because I couldn't sleep due to severe neck pain and tightness tonight. I did these, as well as your other neck exercises/stretch videos and I feel less compression, and tension tonight. Hopefully I'll sleep well and wake up in less pain in the morning. I will keep doing these, and hopefully my neck will feel more freedom in movement, and lesser of all the negative symptoms.

@@sanjam11 No, I'm not saying that at all. I'm no Dr but I would encourage you to try this technique!
I was merely reacting to the guy that said he's done with chiropractors, as am I when it comes to cracking the neck ☠️
I've had two cervical fusions (15 years ago) and I can tell you I think that was the worst decision of my life, some people do ok, but made my pain much worse.
So, two things I don't recommend, chiropractor and surgery. Sorry I don't have any words of encouragement, exercise, physical therapy?? Best of luck to you.

I woke up today with the worst neck pain I've experienced so far. It took me minutes just to get out of bed; I can't even stoop. I'm trying to calm myself, but the pain is too much, and I can't relax. I attempted to distract myself by watching TH-cam while lying down on the bean bag, and the first video that caught my eye was this (without even doing a search). I believe the heavens want to help me through you, Dr. Mandell. You are an angel to many. Thank you. Thank God. This means so much to me.

Incredible. As I did this on one side, I could certainly tell that exactly what you were saying was happening. I had no idea my stiffness in that side was as bad as it is. I’ve been having painful, tingling up and down my right arm and shoulder, but never associated it with that muscle in my neck. As you said, doing this on the right side, hurt, but at the same time, I could feel it relaxing or helping those nerves and/or muscles. I will be doing this. Thank you.

Thank u so much. I have had tinitis for years and the neck exercises feel great, but I don't think the ringing in my ears will ever go away. I do believe it's coming from my brain and not my ears as everyone would have us to believe along with the thought that there is no cure for tinitis. I wake up to it and I fall asleep. Music sort of drowns it out but the ringing is piercing that I can still hear if I focus in on it. It has affected my hearing and my ability to focus over the years.

Your comment here sounds like I wrote it! So many say “oh I have tinnitus too. So what?” Well obviously they don’t have the screaming with each ear has different sounds from the other AND there are multiple noises in EACH ear. I followed ent suggestions magnesium - side effects in colon severe. Dumped the ent. So my bedtime white noise is moving waters album downloaded to my phone. TH-cam both phone and tv streaming device many rain and ocean noise videos - some with black screen. Concentration sucks. No real medical research because big pharma see no profitability for their pockets.
But the neck exercises do help my neck problems. I’ve only just begun so I’m anxious to see if helps eye headaches. I suspect my bp spikes are due to neck pain too.
