I think you should consider being a Patreon creator so those of us who enjoy your channel as much as we do could help you with expenses. You are certainly worth it!
Showing us the lost footage (with correct intro), then filming the successful outro (complete with explanation about losing the footage) back to back with the potential intro without skipping a beat. Incomparable 😆
Love the video Scott. You must have restored your lost footage. Whatever you do, it’s is always top-notch, even breaking the camera. It was done well enough you have to buy a new one. No matter what you do, it’s always turns out great in the end. See you in the next episode. Have a great weekend!
This one is coming together quite nicely. It's going to be a sweet driver once you get it all done. I loved the comment about clearing over the dirt so the next guy can't get to it.
It took me a few seconds to get the "hair dryer" joke. Which probably qualifies me to be a TH-cam expert.....about those crimp connectors..... 😊 Thanks for the videos!
Guess the supervisor should of been out watching over you so you didn't break everything. I'd almost bet she's worth her weight in dog treats. Awesome video Scott. 🚗🚗🚗
Wow i am realizing how far technology has come in just a short time. It almost looks like your in the stone age repairing this mustang how different it is to modern cars. Thanks for sharing the process i was a huge fox body fan
Are you implying the shoddy way cars are thrown together today is better, with the "stone age " term? Because as someone who deals with the latest trash, daily, nothing could be further from the truth.
@@scottysgarage4393 no i am not i prefer an old car to any modern car bulit today. All i am saying it is two different ways of fixing a collision. One you where aloud to repair like frame rails in todays car you have to replace.
Scott.. what a nice piece to add to the collection of yours. Great job on the this stang. Have a great rest of the weekend. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and be well.
Hey he chose the airfilter that matched the color of the hoses!..... That alone will drive the Keyboard Commandos nuts because its probably not to FoMoCo SVO HO specs!
I have an Airbag from one of these if you want it. Free. It’s been on the shelf for a few years, might as well go towards these awesome educational programs.
Damn , TH-cam hid all these updates from me and I'm subscribed. Started getting all these weird video recommendations instead of what I usually watch. I'll have to start checking manually, on the flip side I get to catch up on all the great videos I've missed.
Car is looking real good 👍 33:31 You should leave the luggage rack off the car fill the holes in the trunk..the car will look alot better in my opinion...
0:00 that's crazy that they mounted the wiring and switch to the brake pedel. Back in the day there was a momentary switch mounted to a bracket and the arm on the brake pedal activated/deactivated it. I had one in my dart that used to stick in and it would leave the brake lights on all the time. I'd spray it occasionally with WD40 to free it up.
Things are bad. Real bad. Trans is messing up, don't know why, car is down. Can't find work, just about broke. But when you took the Ford badge out, and said look at that, they circled the problem, I smiled for the first time today. Thanks for posting.
Ford Accornyn Class. I passed it (back in the latter 90's). I think I got a C+. Needed it when I was 'Hacking' the 5.0L (with EFI) into my 1976 Jeep CJ5. Got to be a real PITA, going back and forth to the glossery, so I semi-permanently memorized most of them. Oh, if you have a strong stomach, take apart the OEM Ford harness. Specifically, the section from the computer to the 'salt and pepper' connectors. What a mish/mash of crap. Work hard to control the gag reflex, as the image of electrical vomit displays itself. You might especially appreciate, how they decided to 'gang' (crimp?) the power wires together. What is that goo they used to protect it? Snot? After disecting a couple of them, I decided the best route was to toss then all 'in the pile', and go with a standalone, one piece, version. Always a good couple of chuckles in every one of your vids! Thanks Scott!
Maybe that plug connection that was disconnected from the boo switch was the previous owners poor mans theft deturant, what you say. Thanks for another great content video,oh yeah leave the battery connected for any trouble shooting🤗😎🤗😎
Too bad the only company that makes power window switches is Dorman, I have taken a OEM switch apart and clean it and rebend the copper contacts. Had to do that for my 92 Ford F-150 XLT, I also used 1/4" nuts in the window motors to replace the silicon bearings.
Yup, chit just happens when you are working on a ... 😉 Still so far so good. I'm sure you will also replace the bulb in the 3rd brake light when the reassembly process starts. 🙄
I have not. Personally, l like the look but they were underpowered and thus underappreciated. Unless it was a Terminator and those are a little out of my budget.
Tech problems, you don't wanna know. We bought a $20,000 flat bed printer from china, have 200 hrs into it and it's still messing up, the 2 main ballscrews on my CNC machine wore out, I bought a new refurb laptop, it spontaneously shut off and went into recovery loop, I had to buy a new computer to run the software to run the flat bed printer and that meant I had to reload all my design 3d software and it took me years to get it totally set up, now I have to start all over again. All right in the middle of the busiest time of the year for me (Christmas orders). The only thing that hasn't given me issues is my newist cellphone.
I find the choice of (standard?) luggage rack from a car in the 90’s bizzare. Were people actually intending to carry their actual luggage on said rack or like the 5.0 badge, it was purely decorative?
How much would a real positive battery cable add to the build cost? Those clamp-on terminals are called "emergency" terminals for a reason. They are meant to just get you down the road temporarily. After a few months they start to form corrosion where the cable is clamped down and the car won't crank well if at all. While I'm criticizing, I should mention to always put some anti-seize on the battery hold-down bolt. If not for your sake, for the next guy 3 or 4 years down the road.
must admit Scott, you seem to be the only person i watch playing with old motors, that Ford seems way too clean to be 30 years old did you say? i think my 23 year old Audi has more muck on it, but then UK roads aren't as well kept as your in the US
Scott Danger ... WORKS!!!
I think you should consider being a Patreon creator so those of us who enjoy your channel as much as we do could help you with expenses. You are certainly worth it!
Your talent at getting stuff done is pretty remarkable honestly. Hardly anyone has this level of skill anymore
Damn Scott, you sure know what you are doing……from a simple brake problem to the rest…..you’re the man!
That’s amazing! Stationary Mustang is even taking out cameras! 😂
Tread carefully Scott, we don’t want you hurt!
Thanks for the hard work that you put into your videos. It is very much appreciated.

Welcome back to the channel!!!!! Thanks for having us! Boring build Friday

A 93 GT has always been my dream car ever since seeing Aerosmith's "Crazy" video.
I like to think there's an alternate TH-cam channel where the Body Work Gnome calls Scoots the Parts Changing Gnome. #support
That’s going to be a great looking car when you get finished keep up the good work . 👍
This one is coming together quite nicely. It's going to be a sweet driver once you get it all done. I loved the comment about clearing over the dirt so the next guy can't get to it.
It's all in the details.....and there's LOTS of them! Keep up the good work.
Macy, my old Shepard was intensely curious too. He would follow workers everywhere, even under the house or just lay down and watch them work ❤
Coming along nicely, good to have painting gnomes.thanks John from Arizona
I’m a certified bumper technical engineer expert. You bumped that bumper quite bumperly. Carry on.
Looking good Scott. Thank you for using a quality camera on your content. I appreciate it. I hope you find another camera.
Good it's Scott Friday again .
I just love your videos Scott, especially the beating Ford takes, just the best!!!!
You must like tears.
Awesome video Scott. She will end up looking amazing.
You have a lot more tools than the average body guy I remember who relied upon a pair of pliers and a screwdriver.
Thank you so much for the update on this car i love how its turning out keep up the good work
@vehcor I hope you have a great weekend!
Hey Scot, my hunch is you do all the painting yourself, no the gnomes!
Keep pumping those videos out brother!
It's going to look gorgeous!

love it,proper sunday night feet up viewing
Always enjoy your videos Scott.
Nice save
Looks great 4 paws approval
I hate drilling rivets. I I punch out the center , then drill the face. Works for me. Hope it helps you.
Scott.. what a nice piece to add to the collection of yours. Great job on the this stang. Have a great rest of the weekend. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and be well.
Awesome show my friend.
" .... cos I am working on a Ford!"
Well you said it cuz ... 😂
Nice to a bit of a classic come back to life. Well done Sir.
Sarcasm never gets old. Thank you Scott. Have a good weekend.
All good. Thanks for the video.
All your builds looks better then factory 😊😊😊
I love the nonchalant attitude to installing the fram air filter. You have to know that some heads exploded
😂

That Kalifornia compliant riveter is so cute.
Good to see your Boss
Maybe more merch would help with funding for everything. I think an assault riviter shirt or hoodie would be awesome!
Damn , TH-cam hid all these updates from me and I'm subscribed. Started getting all these weird video recommendations instead of what I usually watch. I'll have to start checking manually, on the flip side I get to catch up on all the great videos I've missed.
Looks like an unmolested under dash wiring harness too. I’m also surprised to see the battery hold down bolt isn’t rusted off or broke.
Happy Friday, Scott!🍻
Comeon Scott, if you really believed that Fords were that bad the resto Mustang would have never begun !
Car is looking real good 👍 33:31
You should leave the luggage rack off the car fill the holes in the trunk..the car will look alot better in my opinion...
Good afternoon Scott !!

I guess you found the footage! The supervisor bark at you about it? Woof!
I love how you can read what “the supervisor” is telling you with her looks…😁
That unplugged switch, was a homemade anti theft
Had an 87 and the same thing happened with that brake switch. Cheesy design.
Things are bad. Real bad. Trans is messing up, don't know why, car is down.
Can't find work, just about broke.
But when you took the Ford badge out, and said look at that, they circled the problem, I smiled for the first time today.

Oh no! Sorry about the camera!
You’re an amazing technician.your knowledge seems endless. If you where closer t North Carolina I know who would be doing all my work
With the amount of work you do. In surprised you don't have your own shop...
ton of work on that car. hope you make a good profit. lucky guy or girl who gets that car

My personal philosophy includes a chapter on cleanliness; the margin now includes "bad things happen if you do."
Scott I like watching your channel and all the great work you do but when is this mustang going to be done can't wait Joe from Canada
Maybe that plug connection that was disconnected from the boo switch was the previous owners poor mans theft deturant, what you say. Thanks for another great content video,oh yeah leave the battery connected for any trouble shooting🤗😎🤗😎
LMAO ! I knew it you've only got one bulb you use on all the cars I've seen you repair .
Bet that's borrowed too !
😁😁😁👍👍👍

would the back end of the car look better w/o luggage rack and 3rd brake light?
How is one supposed to secure luggage on these old school trunk lid luggage racks? Was it always just for appearances?
Always love your videos!
You should be using a blow torch, not a grind wheel or a belt sander. A blow torch would have removed those rivets much faster.
Yup, chit just happens when you are working on a ... 😉
Still so far so good. I'm sure you will also replace the bulb in the 3rd brake light when the reassembly process starts. 🙄
As always an entertaining video keep on truckin
Aren't those cutting wheels the high speed explodo death wheels that send shrapnel through multiple layers of clothing and flesh?
Good, good the sarcasm is strong with this one...
on the bright side, excuse to upgrade the camera
Have you ever done a video on a new edge mustang
I have not. Personally, l like the look but they were underpowered and thus underappreciated. Unless it was a Terminator and those are a little out of my budget.

It’s not a Friday until you’re removing or installing a belt molding
Good job sir. Sorry about the camera. As they say...stuff happens.
Use whatever tool does the job 😊
"BOO" switch? 😹 That plug only got disconnected via "somebody been here" (mighta been the beer cheerleader🙀)

I subscribe to the Red Green theory. "It's only temporary, unless it works."
I love it dirty!!!
Bummer on the Camera, they dont give one of those away, you think management will support a replacement? LOL Thanks, great stuff as always!
Are you sure that "the supervisor" didn't knock over the tripod/camera? LOL - thanks for another good video, I am always learning from you.
Are the cheese grater taillights coming back?
Luggage Rack, that's something new cars don't have, and nobody needs. Can't say that I've every seen luggage strapped to the back of a Mustang GT.
Are you putting a lx front end on a gt
Have you ever worked on a first gen Taurus wagon roof rack….. the slats were held on with about 40 rivets 🤣🤣
Did it get painted an what happened with the 1965 mustang did you ever got back to. That build 😢
This has me wanting a Fox body Mustang, GT, convertible. 😢
I really appreciate the total lack of irony and true dedication to the wisdom of the internet trolls on this channel.
lol! “They circled the problem on this car.”
must admit Scott, you seem to be the only person i watch playing with old motors, that Ford seems way too clean to be 30 years old did you say? i think my 23 year old Audi has more muck on it, but then UK roads aren't as well kept as your in the US

is this going to sell as fast as the grandam
