I wouldn’t recommend an xtool device either. I bought a d8 last year and it just sits in my cabinet unused next to all my other units. Great review and appreciate the honesty
I think it is a shame that you put down the whole company because of how the one served you. I bought mine off of ebay and before I bought it I had a couple of questions and he replied within 24 hours both times and I just programmed two fobs on my infiniti in which when I had a key fob made on a previous nissian it cost me 400.00 dollars for one key fob and I did two for 390.00 so you might have a bad dongle but I would not blame the whole company for what one division on the company done to you>
I am glad you had a good experience with them but unlike your one experience with them and one singular company. I deal with these companies on a daily basis from across the board. From snap on to xtool to topdon to zenith to autel to otofix. The only company that has given me issues is xtool. Not only did they give me issues with the what I mentioned in the video but they also still message me about 5 times a week from different people continuously harassing me to try and take different products from them. So yes I’ll continue to put down the company as a whole because the right hand has no idea what the left is doing. Out of all the companies I’ve dealt with they are the only ones with these issues. If they wanted to fix the problem right off the bat without question like any company should whether you pay for it or not then I’m down with that but if they want to brush it off like it’s not a problem then I have a problem with that because I would be the one recommending to you the consumer of my video. So that is just a few of the many reasons why I won’t recommend them. There are better options for better money.
@@davewhitmore8487 otofix d1 lite if you don’t need autoauth and just need service functions and bi directional controls. Or the topdon ultra diag. A little more but does a lot of key programming as well.
Tengo un xtool D9 y antes tuve un D8 una pad 3 y podría decir, qué son excelentes equipos.Son equipos multimarca, debes complementar con otros, ningúno hará todo.Saludos

Thanks for the feedback and watching.
@@Enrightautowhat would you guys recommend?
@@Impossiblegarage I have another video I posted a few weeks ago about scan tools overall id watch that and find out what exactly you need
Can it relearn ECU 2006 cadillac? And update key fob 2011 Lincoln MKZ
Will it program pcm and tcm on a ford fg ?
Can you test the XTool ip819tp?
Don’t think I’ll test many more xtools unless I get hooked up with their USA department.
Does it feel like Autel or Launch software? Most of the "mystery brand" tools seem to be one or the other.
Yes very true most of them have the same software. This one doesn’t feel like either and I also own topdon/launch and autel

@@Enrightauto In your opinion, what's a better option for the same money?

Is the Xtool d7s capable with programming keys to bmw ?
I don’t know I didn’t test or use a d7s but I doubt it is capable most scan tools aren’t
@Enrightauto it does key programming, so don't assume if you don't actually know
Yes it does key programming
Wired is always faster then wireless my guy
Yea obviously
review the d9s xtool please
I’ll try and get one but it doesn’t seem much different than this one to be honest

I trying find good scan tool has scope not as expensive as truck brands.
Used snap on verus edge is the best bang for your buck. 2-$2500 or topdon smart with scope added on.
@@Enrightauto thank you
I can’t add email please help?
