  • Welcome back to my channel. Today's video is about how much I've struggled with ADF over the last few weeks. But, all hope is not lost and I will keep fasting as best as I can. Leave any questions down below.

    When it comes to social events, I don’t restrict myself. I do to feast days back to back & I get back on track. YOU make the rules and they can change to suit your lifestyle. ❤

    Fellow ADFer here!! Don’t give up and don’t be too hard on yourself when you don’t follow your schedule. Think of it in terms of weeks and not days. Try to string some good weeks together but not every week will be good. Make ADF a lifestyle!

    Fasting is flexible. Just like you I have a goal weight range. Recently I started gaining weight. I started to lean outside of my goal so I started intermittent fasting again. Started 16:8 I lost 4 lbs in 2 weeks. I eat fruit once I break my fast and I drink fruit/vegetable juice. I eat a plant based dinner. If the weight starts to slow. I will go to OMAD. If that’s not working I will go to alternate day. It’s flexible.

    I have been where you are several times this summer as well. I decided to prioritize myself, my health, my goal and say no to the social gatherings during the week. Or if I decide to go out it will be a couple of times during the month and it will be an OMAD day for me. I also decided not to tell people. I believe this is crucial. It is your thing, your journey, it is an almost sacred thing to treasure. Nothing to justify to anybody else. If you have open minded people who support you, then yes, tell them, but in my opinion even with the most understanding friends around, I would keep it to myself.
    I am starting to believe and viewing FASTING as a LIFESTYLE. There might come times where you gain some weight back, but the key is not to feel guilty about it and find the best way to work around it focusing on your why and your health. And also find an arrangement for the social outings that can work best for you and is sustainable. You know you will go back to ADF/ fasting because you know how good it feels, emotionally, physically and spiritually.

    Thank you, you’re a great impression, a real person pushing through with results. If you haven’t started try drinking mineral water to taper cravings and stay hydrated, even if you drink coffee, you don’t want to get dehydrated. Keep making videos and pushing through and try a healthy meal every once in a while girl it will help the cravings on your feast day, also prayer helps. 💕

    Listening to your video right now. First thing you are human fasting has to fit in your life. You must first be content with the decisions you make. You don't owe anyone anything. There are ways believe me. Look at your social calendar if you want to do things with your friends then go. You are doing the right thing. Do other variations and focus on your health by changing your diet. Your why will keep you coming by. Drop the schedule and live your life you are fighting with yourself. I have been where you are so many times within the last year. Maybe you are feeling a little guilty because you have a following don't be we are all in the same boat as you have been. Take time for you. From listening to you I believe you know your why. Be blessed. I have dabbled with ADF most of my weight was lost with 16/8 or 18/6. I started at 267 down to 185 went back to 199 my why brought me back. So I am finishing the journey for health it has never been a diet for me. I take a PIC of all that I eat so I don't lie to myself.

    If you choose your lifestyle it’s yours don’t feel bad if you choose not eat. You are an intelligent adult why ppl would question your choices especially when it’s clearly showing you are healthy and doing well.

    I have had a very on and off relationship to IF and keto. I love it when I'm doing it stricly, and I get amazing results on all health fronts. But it's very hard for me to sustain mostly due to outside factors, like social eating, sharing food moments with my boyfriend (he is not as supportive of my diet as I would need), etc. But with everything I am hearing about ADF I am so curious and very interested in trying it out. But I am only used to fasting for up to 20 hours or so. So the thought of going longer somehow scares me a bit. But listening to your experiences is very helpful. It's like having a girlfriend talk to me about her experience. So thank you! It might just have pushed me closer to actually trying it out. Keep up the great work! Your channel is so valuable! Especially since you are very relatable and reasonable!

    I'm year 3 into ADF and OMAD to get holiday weight off and it's worked to perfection every year until May. I fell off ADF in summer the past 2 years but that's because I felt uncomfortable not eating in social situations. Not this year. I'm so used to people's shock and awe reactions now I'm not gonna be pressured into eating and gaining 40 pounds by New Years and then relosing it. It's a journey. I'm just glad i know ADF works for me. Friends are the problem but you can just show the results and tell them to hold their tongue from the same BS responses of outdated information. This is particularly funnier when obese people try to lecture me. If they feel they can lecture you, lecture them or just give them links if you don't like arguing. If you aren't scared of the doctor, get blood results to show. That always shuts people up.

    Thank you so much for your candor. Nothing happens in a straight line, does it? All progress seems to come in fits and starts, ups and downs. Maybe your body just needs a rest and a chance to settle into your best health.

    ADF has become challenging for me, Eva Molly. Hey. I'm watching you. I see you. I like what I see. Very cool. Very cool. You did a good job with this one. Yes. I get it. Hard to fast with a bunch of people around you and they eating. Great video! I have just subw3scribed to your channel. So congrats, you just gained another one. I am an advocate on this platform for engaging with others and supporting one another. And returning love and reciprocating feedback. I think that kind of community on here is what we need. I think that kind of community is what we all want.     Just say you're not hungry. It's your body, your choice. They'll leave you alone.
