Driveway & Patio Pressure Washing, and Soft Washing Cambridge.
Hi everyone, welcome to my final driveway cleaning job of 2022. This driveway and patio cleaning job was carried out for some good friends of my parents in late November. This job was carried out mainly for safety reasons. How the driveway and patio looks, is of course important to them, but their main concern was how slippery it had become. They asked for my help as the areas had become a real health hazard in recent weeks, for both of them, due to the slimy, algae covered paving, both back and front, causing them both to slip and fall on separate occasions . Luckily neither of them were hurt by their falls, but they both realised that it would only be a matter of time for a fall to happen again, and possibly cause more serious damage, if they didn't get the problem rectified.
I was quite booked up at the time, but I moved things around, and got onto the job as quickly as possible, as I, and my parents didn't want them slipping over again.
This was a challenging job, but very satisfying, and I hope you enjoy watching the huge transformation. Many thanks, Nick.

Grime line is great, clearly shows how much the patio needed a cleaning, yes I enjoy Ben's videos too.

That’s so funny! That was exactly my response! I was going to say I’d marked it down to 9/10 because the line wasn’t perfectly straight, but gave extra credit for the difficult diagonal line maneuver bringing it back up to a whopping 10/10! Great minds! 😂

Got back to finish watching. Your attention to details really paid off in how well it looked. The back patio was reaching what I'd call desperate and what a marvelous change in color you managed as well as running-off the Black Spot invasion. Yep, nice Grime Line and extra points for thinking of a diagonal.

After enjoying myself rewatching older videos this week, I can see air flow and air circulation are the bane of pressure washing. Lack of it does serious damage. The grime line was 10/10.

Wow, fantastic results! Amazing how pale that patio and path turned out to be. I bet the homeowner is overjoyed. Excellent grime line - definitely up to Ben’s standard - you had an even better one down the second path where it was so black.
Thanks for explaining the drains. Appreciate your talking about what you found needed doing, as clearing back to the brick edge, etc. Be interesting to see how nice the grandkids "parking lot" looks when done. Glad you factored-in help needed based on decreased health of the owners. Slippery is not good and being able to weed or trim starts falling out, as well as cleaning-out drain lines. Chuckled when your work showed a "lost" brick post or wall buried in the growth. Sorry you had GoPro trouble but the initial start is intriguing.

10/10 just for artistic ability on that grime line! Ben usually only does a straight down the middle line. You opted for the artistic diagonal line!

Blowers help to keep the build up of silt on surfaces. Leaves keep a lot of silt in place when it rains.
That back patio was really bad. Looks great now!
