Love it. My garden is a lot bigger but I can't do anything with it. Due to medical problems with my legs, I can't dig, can't kneel etc so all I do is mow the grass. She is a very lucky lady to have friends like you guys that can help her out.

Times like this I prefer a yard like this than an acre of everything. I call my life at home "working from home". Low maintance is far better if you prefer pots in your yard, and of course stones.
What a lovely thing to do for a friend! Whoever installed our patio put it (or some of it, at least) above the level of the damp-proofing of the house. We want to redo it anyway, because it's basic bare concrete, but that's not helping.
I HATE my backyard, and am disabled in the USA. It's impossible for my husband to get anything done when he's taking care of me. Poor guy might have 3 hours to himself a day and it's spent doing chores. I desperately need stumps removed, a yard with privacy that I feel comfortable... enjoying. We've lived here 2 years and I still do not spend time in my back yard just because it's not pleasant, pretty, organized and an eyesore, not to mention hard for me to access. But this is an amazing job guys!!

Can't go far wrong with rolawn. Medallion turf is what you need. Make sure the ground is properly prepared before you start. Get a space and dig a small hole to see how much topsoil the builders have put back down. If there's less than 4" or it's on top of heavy clay. Then get the builder back before you start.

Sorry badly worded, I think what your doing for some people is great. I'm not going to be lucky enough to have a no cost garden make over but when you see some of your videos where people have paid for substandard work it really helps to understand what this level and quality of finish would cost. We used an ultra tile-adhesive with added fibres. Do you think it's turning out alright? What would you have changed (if anything)?

Granite slabs = slippery. Better to put a skim of sand on it to rough it up. Then seal that.
