Out of those 3, I like the sedan the most.
i like the shooting brake the best real man car.
Just driven the A class today. The climate panel isn’t as bad as it looks. It doesn’t rattle and only moves when gripped and moved with force. The MBUX is great and works well. Interior is a real step up from the old vehicle and not yet in the C class. Moving from an E class down to an A as it is far more manageable day to day and parking in the UK. Thomas love your reviews, keep them coming.

When does the A35 arrive in California, U.S?
I'm confused to see the ''AMG'' inlay with the 3 stripes. With the A35 hatchback up here, you can only get it in the Edition 1 version.

The back looks mean, I really hope we get the sedan in the UK. However I’d still pick the hatchback for only two reasons
1. I need the height in the boot.
2. I’m a boy racer so the hatch is my only choice 😂
Thomas, very good review. One question: which design do you prefer? In my country I don’t have option to see them in live before buying. Only from the pictures and videos is very hard to take decision. Thanks in advance :)
thanks! well they really come very very close... just a matter of preference. Probably the A because I dont need the trunk to be longer in this case
So the cla and a class are a completely different model I’m confused or are they all a class
Visually I prefer the sedan, but I bought the hatchback because it's more practical.

Went for 2019 Amg cla 200 in end a class are sold out mostly in west London said waiting till December but preferred cla 200
Making a coffee and getting ready to enjoy my 30min with Thomas and the review: as always. P.S. I like the rear end of the A35 sedan more than the CLA, it looks more aggressive and "unique" , the rear of the CLA looks like the CLS and even though that is supposed to be a good thing I don't like it because in my opinion the CLS/CLA rear looks like a sad panda bear.

The new CLA is still a good looker, but it now looks more generic. In the previous generation, especially at night you'll know the car in front is a CLA because of the distinctive drop taillights.
Another downer is this rear design of the CLA is it's taken from the same design as the C or E or S class coupe that's already a few years old. The A Class sedan rear, however, is a fresh new rear design for Merc's sedans, one I'll expect to see coming in the next C/E/S generation sedans.

I will literally not buy a vehicle because it has piano black in it. Looks great clean. But literally 10 sec later its all dusty🤦🏽♂️ And the more you wipe it the more swirl marks it gets. Brushed anything is better than piano black.

Almost all new mercedes cars have gotten ugly, they need to fire their designers. Everything was mostly cool until they started playing funny games around 2017.
Don’t like the rear of the cla looks so cheap and ugly
