How to prep and paint your hub caps

Here's how to prep and paint your old hub caps.
Spray Degreaser, scrub the paint off or you can use the paint stripper to strip all the old paint off of the hub caps. Pressure wash the hub cap to remove any particles left on it. Start to paint your hub caps and finish with the clear coat.

I painted my hubcaps on a 2000 Honda Civic I used 120 then I use 220 sandpaper I spray painted aluminum paint and then clear coat that was four years ago and they're holding up perfect

The blotchy spots are known as fish eyes. You have a contaminant like oil or Armor All near by. Tip: Wipe sanded surfaces with Wax & Grease Remover before painting. Paint 3 coats: Light "tack" coat, second coat a little heavier & final "wet" coat (but not so heavy it runs). Same for clear coat.

OEM honda hubcaps is no cheap at all. But of course aftermarket hubcaps is 20-25$ a set.

I did to restore a 90 accord back to oem factory. Looks like it rolled off the lot.
