I wish there was a video that showed every step 😢
Nice install. However, If you sanded down the rust from the metal wheels and prayed them Flat Black, It would have looked even better.
The two holes are bigger because people sometimes have lock-nuts that are wider in shape. Normally is just one per wheel but sure you can have two. On a side note when tightening the wheel use the star method to tighten the nuts, do not do what the video shows.
The two holes are larger so you don't have to take off all of the lug-nuts to install them. Safety first.
but you do have to take off all the lugs to get the old covers off...but it does make sense once you're installing them.
I’ve bought two sets of these hubcaps from Amazon, I’ve lost four due to cracked plastic in the smaller holes that retain the cap to the wheel. I lose one every 500 miles, time to look at factory caps at $75 each.
not me at 130k miles and my hubcap paint is completely toasted already lol
I’m just gonna repaint paint mine
Plastidip
Paint came off mine before 170,000 and the car itself.
So what happens if we don’t torque to 80lbs?
bolts may get loose and you will hear your wheel wobble as you drive down the freeway
@@kelvinsgarageah well that figures. Just wanted to know if there was a reason why specifically 80lbs but I think I get the gist. Thanks for the response!
that’s the specification from honda
@@kelvinsgarage I see, I see. Welp, torque wrench has been ordered 👍 thanks again!
Dumb video. Didn't even show the important steps.
