19:32 thank you. I tapped out at The Last Jedi. I walked out of that turd dumbfounded. I got into my car and just sat there. I finally said "it Disney LucasFILTH doesnt give a crap, I don't give a crap." My kid refused to watch the rise of soywalker as well.
@ChristianIce Really? What con do you alledge he's running? Or are you just regurgitating a word you've heard other people use without knowing what that word actually means?
@@grumpyoldgrognard9561 Grifter means he's pushing the narrative that keyboard warriors want to hear, (aka everything is woke) regardless the content of the movies/series he talks about. But hey, internet says it's woke, so I will call it woke, get the likes, what's the point of actually watching it, right?
@ChristianIce A grifter is a con man. Grifters are criminals. They trick people into trusting them and then use that trust to scam them out of money. You have accused the drinker of being a criminal. Nothing you have said suggests anything criminal. So again... What confidence scam are you accusing him of?

I wore out the animated Hobbit tape that was at the library pretty much single handedly. I had a shirt with Gollum in his little boat in like first grade. Was also in love with TOS in syndication, TNG and DS9 later on. Star Wars figures coming out my ears. Doctor Who glow in the dark keychain was a prize possession, wasn't able to afford the Tom Baker scarf that the comic book shop owner's wife knitted by hand to EXACT specs or I probably would have gotten beaten up for wearing it to school every day. I have no interest in the shows that wear the skins of the originals that are masquerading as entertainment these days. I just watch my DVDs of DS9 over and over now.
I've been ignoring most of that tried to watch Strange New Worlds. Stopped as it messed up Spock. Stopped with Jodie thought Ruth was the better Doctor. I quit Disney+ intended to wait until August after end of s2 of the Mandalorian, but they've yet to release anything I want to watch. Amazon's Rings of Power not interested and they've only reinforced that viewpoint. Still like star trek from enterprise back to classic star trek.
Yeah, I'm not even watching the videos critiquing the hollywood slop as often either, I can't even get angry over the defilement of yet another IP (or the further defilement of the previous ones), I own the only 6 Star Wars movies ever made (Han shot first) and I've found a new appreciation for the prequels. I own so many books, comics, tv shows and movies as to never have to buy anything again. Some books/comis/rpgs I haven't read/played yet. My "pile of shame" now grows with older stuff.
@geekybugle4241 Truth is, the drinker goes a little over the top for my taste. That meme he uses with a pile of people wallowing in shit and farting... I understand the statement he's making and I realize the visual image is probably expressing a point that he doesn't want to repeat constantly. Still... Ewww. Unless I'm drunk. Then I find the whole thing hilarious, and I suspect that's a deliberate part of his shtick. Since I am only very rarely drunk, I have mostly tracked the downfall of the Acolyte on LittlePlatoon's channel. He's just as acerbic and brutally honest as the drinker, but he spends much less time on fart and poop jokes. youtube.com/@thelittleplatoon?si=5o-f7AQAl4ZgRBw5
Always a pleasure to watch Your videos. D&D and those old shows brought comfort to many of us I guess. History is showing us that we must enjoy those moments as they pass by. I do not watch Star Wars or Star Trek anymore for similar reasons then You do. I try to live with my time and I am turning my attention where the quality is in this troubled era. Thank You!
If there's one new thing I could say I like, it would be the new Frasier seasons. Drinker isn't really my bag for vicarious viewing of stuff I don't like, although he is an occasional guest on the place I do; his presentation is a bit too angry and I'd rather make humor and lightheartedness from these bungled messes.
@sciencemile That's the exact "right" attitude. If you don't like it, don't buy it. But this is the USA. We have a First Amendment precisely to prevent some self righteous asshole from getting to decide what we get to hear.
It's funny. The only reason I even went to see Rise of Skywalker was because my brother in law paid for us to go. Regretfully, I did watch Kenobi, lol. I haven't seen any other disney Star Wars. Dont care anymore.

Critical Drinker is a -grifter- pretender anyway.
Edit: Looks like "grifter" can only be used in courtrooms. Sorry, didn't know that.

I loved Peter Capaldi as Dr Who. He was my absolute favorite. And that is because he reminded me of someone very dear to me.
Star Wars came out in '77, but it did stay in the theaters for a long time.
