I feel like he split the 20 just to teach about the split, which is the only excusable reason to do that. If the casino only gives 1 card after the split it's definitely never worth it. Also, you should hit 12 against dealer 2 (12) little bonus rule for anyone reading the 4th reply to a youtube comment.

3:56 pro tip: if you ever go to a casino ALWAYS touch the dealers face like his does here, it will give you good luck and a 100% win chance.
it usually just makes the dealers very happy to have human contact as they are typically kept in cages in the casino's basement. they usually throw the game to show their gratitude.
