did the prenatal plan with each baby and I loved it! It kept me lean, ready for labor, and I snapped back after babies with minimal DR ab gap, and no lag for my core coming back. Then I did all the post pregnancy plan, 8 min plan, LFSC 2x (thanks for the video updates, Ash!) 10-min plan, and now onto my second time through Firm 30. I’m never bored, and I feel like I have plans for life. I’m 4 years past my 4th baby, and I still love Ashley’s plans. I’d even do the post pregnancy plan again. It’s so good! You need these plans in your life… it’s worth the investment, and I do them again and again! I have had two miscarriages for my first and third pregnancy. I was active for years prior to pregnancy and while I took it easy in my first trimester after that first miscarriage, I still moved. I did what felt comfortable for me at the right time. In additional my first child was a c-section and then I had three vaginal births. My third VBAC resulted in a vaginal birth with a uterine rupture. Baby was fine but I needed extensive abdominal surgery similar to a c-section. After surgery I waited till about 12 weeks PP to begin the post pregnancy plan, and again, I had amazing results. I share this to show that Ashley’s plans accommodate many different iterations of pregnancy and birth.

I got pregnant on the firm 30 program. We struggled with infertility with baby #1, but I was exercising regularly with firm30 and eating better. We were miraculous blessed with this baby! Praise the Lord! I was 3 weeks from finishing the program and switched at 8 weeks to the prenatal program. I wish I knew it was safe to finish firm 30. This video is helpful.
This is such great advice! I worked out in the gym (continuing my heavy lifting program) the entire 9 months of my pregnancy. I had all day sickness the first trimester, but working out actually helped me feel better. I continued squatting with heavy weights through week 36, at which point I took squatting down several notches because I developed sciatica from how low my daughter was sitting. I continued deadlifting (but dropping my weight from 175 lbs to 155 lbs) through 38 weeks. Gave birth at 39 weeks + 3 days, and kept workouts to light cardio in the 39th week because I got this intuitive sense to conserve my energy and take it easy. Being so physically active has helped my recovery in MANY ways! I felt totally ready for another pregnancy by 3 months PP!
Thank you! All my kids are very close in age-we’re always open to receiving the blessing of children from the Lord-and I was just wondering what to do about working out if I find out I’m pregnant again. It’s like you read my mind! Loving all the practical videos lately! Thanks again! And I got pregnant on the LFSC plan last time. : )
Super helpful video! I can’t speak highly enough about the prenatal plan! I did it pretty much 100% with my first and I was in the best shape of my life at 9 month pregnant! It was insane! You could actually see my abs around my belly like I had a 6 pack. It really helped with labor and post partum to get back into exercise too because my body was primed and ready to go. I didn’t do so great with my second pregnancy since I had a 1 year old running around and I could definitely tell a difference. Working through the post partum plan now and excited to get to the 10 min plan!! Thanks for all you do for us Ashley!
Thank you so much for this and your other videos on exercising while pregnant. I’ve only ever been frustrated with the vague and/or cookie-cutter answers I get from doctors on these topics (although I still ask them about it…). Your videos have the details I need to make confident decisions!
Thank you so much for this video! I am pregnant for the first time, very early days (3 or 4 weeks) and I've just finished up Firm 30 and wondering what being pregnant means for my exercise. This video was super clear and really encouraging 😊
Hi Ashley, I'm new here. But so so thankful I found your channel. I'm a South African lady (31). Currently staying in Ireland but soon moving to Cayman Islands. Hope one day I can be part of one of your women camps🙏🏻 Honostly I'm struggling to see myself as a mom. It even sounds weird to think about it. I know it's a gift from God and such a blessing to be able to fall pregnant. For a long time my husband and I focused on work, travel etc but currently the Lord opened my eyes and I'm starting to talk more and more with my husband about planning on falling pregnant if it's the Lord's will for us. So I saw your free prenatal videos that I will definitely follow when the time comes. But you mentioned if one is open to falling pregnant start with your 10 minute plan with good nutrition plans etc (I'm keen to buy that). My next question is about when one finds out your pregnant how will I change my workouts until week8(when one starts with your prenatal program)? Hope this make sense. Thank you for your encouragement and authentic way of sharing your faith and this gives me hope for this new chapter. Prayerfully and humbled I am. Ancois. X
That's so exciting you are hoping to conceive again soon!!! I'm proud of you for doing the 10 Minute Plan right now for the second time through. : D Come update us if you get good news.
I got pregnant with my 3rd on the 12 week pp plan. I started it almost a year after my second child... Got about 4 weeks in and then found out I was pregnant (surprise!).
Thankyou so much for this video! It is EVERYTHING I have needed for that transition time between finding out you're pregnant and starting your prenatal plan. I love all of the topics you discussed and feel encouraged to exercise again.
I completed the 12 week post pregnancy plan about 7 months ago and then took an extended break from regular workouts for various reasons. I restarted the 12 week PPP around week 5 of my current pregnancy (now 9 weeks along). Is it safe to switch to the prenatal plan at this point, or should I stick with the 12 week PPP until after first trimester? I guess another way to put it for other women wondering would be is it safe to do the prenatal plan from week 8 if you haven’t worked out much prior to pregnancy?
Congratulations on this pregnancy! I'm tracking you had a hiatus from exercise got back on the 12 Week PPP early 5 weeks pregnant, and now you are headed into Phase 2 of the 12 Week PPP at 9 weeks pregnant. ---> I recommend finishing the 12 Week PPP using an accelerated version so you can finish by 2nd trimester. Do weeks 6, 8, 10, 12 of the 12 Week Post Pregnancy Plan, then move over to the Free Prenatal Program.
I would love to get pregnant again. I'm coming up on 34, and feel the clock ticking. But I'm doing ecological breastfeeding with my 3rd, and he's such a boob man 😂Almost 14 months postpartum and still haven't gotten my cycles back. I tried Vitex, but it made me depressed, so that's a hard pass for me. We would love to get a sister for our oldest, right now she's got 2 little brothers. Just waiting for the Lord to open my womb. And trying to be patient.
That's exciting you are open to growing your family again with a 4th if the Lord blesses you with another. : ) My period doesn't return til I'm at least a month or two completely weaned, and my last 3 babies nursed til 14-16 months, too. It sounds like you have the BEST mindset as you patiently see what happens.
