Great video, thanks, Where I live in London motorcyclists can use most bus lanes, however they are more like 'death lanes'. Car drivers tend to turn across you without looking, or if they do look, they aren't looking for bikes they're looking for a huge honking red bus, they look. but don't see...If you plan ahead you can be safe, but it's risky.
The commentary and the graphic on the video are confusing. Motorcycles are permitted on each sign, along with pedal cycles and buses, but you’re still saying don’t use the bus lanes during their hours of operation on the mod2 test. Have I got this right pls?
Forgive me, but if the sign shows a motorcycle, you are allowed to enter the lane whilst on a motor. There are bus lane signs with a bus and a bicycle image only, in which case motorcycles are not permitted to enter. The 3 signs you show invite 4 types of vehicles, all of which can enter, even during the times shown. Outside of these times, remember the bus lane is not in operation, so any veh I can enter.
Very helpful video, thank you. If you miss the dashed line at the entrance of the bus lane, are you allowed to cross the solid white line to enter the lane if the traffic is static and if allowed? Thanks!
Every day is a school day, 👌😁, really enjoy watching your teams videos , "Can't wait to get my new bike when I'm back in the country next year " Ps, keep up the great work guys 💪😁👌
Great video, but I do have a question if that’s okay. if the traffic is light and you do not stop start but there is a bus lane on your left, if you did not use it because the traffic is light and there was no need to stop. Would you still get marked down if you didn’t use it.
David Barnes Good Question. Always use it if your allowed to and it’s safe to do so. We have found if you don’t use it and someone undertakes you then that’s a BIG problem. Don’t put yourself in this situation as it could cost you your test.
When riding on a bus lane, if there is a bus picking up passengers should a wait for it to finish or should I overtake it.. if I overtake it should o go immediately back to the bus lane? Thanks a lot.
Coming from the MCR area, on the A62 it shows buses and cars being able to use bus lane. So no motorcycles? Or is a car icon more of a "personal motorized vehicle" and bikes can use it to? (Obviously outside of its operational hours).
When the bus lane ends and it’s still two lanes do you need to indicate to return to lane one . Also the opposite way around if the bus lane is in operation and you have to move over to lane 2
@@RJHMotorbikeTraining Thanks , what about merging lanes ? If lane two goes to one lane , lane one has priority yes .. as a car drive I’ve always indicated to merge into the continuing lane , . Many drivers don’t and ‘ barge’ in , it’s easier to let them in fir traffic flow .. any advice ?

The commentary is wrong and confusing. You are staying that a motorcycle can only use a bus lane outside of the stated times whilst showing a picture of a bus lane that permits motorcycles all the time. This is incorrect and will confuse motorcyclists.
@@RJHMotorbikeTraining your commentary is very confusing. All three signs you show say that motorbikes are allowed during operational hours, while you're saying that they aren't

Good Point. But video is not confusing at all. Commentary isn’t specific to graphic. Listen to 4.00 and the point your raising is covered there.

Great video. What are the rules for undertaking whilst using the bus lane during operational and non operational times?
dont recommend undertaking especially on your test

What a difference between bus lane is "at all time" and "at any time"?
When the bus lane ends and it’s still two lanes do you need to indicate to return to lane one . Also the opposite way around if the bus lane is in operation and you have to move over to lane 2
Always indicate if someone would benefit from it. If no one would then consider not.

Which vehicle you are driving in?
Honda CBF1000GT
if you don't use a bus lane where possible that is just a minor?
No it could be a serious/dangerous
Always use the bus lane if times allow you to and it’s safe to do so.
