    The indicator part before getting back on the road got me reminded when I was told not go give indicator by my examiner. Despite saying it will be better to as it would benefit the traffic in general was told not to bother in that occasion. Done this several times at it was an instict and logic implemented. Another example of some schools/examiner being potentially slightly different like this case than others. Keep the videos coming :))

    Do you not need a left lifesaver before stopping on the left?

      Nope. 👍

    When I did my car driving test like 15 years ago, the examiner gave me my one and only mark because I had indicated when there were cars coming... 🤦🏽‍♂️ Like why would I indicate if there's nobody behind me then?

      @doghous3 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think the logic is, that you indicate and pull out. If you indicate when cars are approaching from behind, they might slow/stop - which is not something you want to be happening. But, I understand what you're saying!

    All those examples of where not to park can all be seen by a walk around any area where Ubers are present

    Hi , do you keep left indicator on until you are told to pull away and change to right indicator thanks

    • @Lets-rideUk
      @Lets-rideUk  26 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Up to you but a good idea to cancel it just in case you forget about it and pull away with it on flashing the wrong direction (only a minor fault). 👍

    Hi pulled up …examiner said pull away when your ready…check my mirror car coming up …the car then stopped behind the examiner..no obstructions stopping it passing….I wait. 10 seconds…20 seconds ….eventually the car decides to pass us …I got a minor for undue hesitation….I failed my test for a different reason ….but in this situation should I put on my indicator to let the car know I’m going to pull away …do my shoulder check and pull away

      Yep, looks like the car thought he was doing you a "favour" and letting you out, so as soon as he'd stopped I'd have popped the indicator on, shoulder checked and go. Frustrating when people do that - their heart is in the right place but just complicates things for the pupil! Best of luck on the next attempt. 👍

    Quick question
    When you pull over and stop do you cancel your left indicator?

    • @Lets-rideUk
      @Lets-rideUk  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, a good idea to just in case you forget about it and pull away with it on (only a minor fault). 👍

    Going around the speed bump seems a little precarious, and in a test situation i am unsure how the the tester would view that?!
    I do normally go around speed bumps.. even ones the full width of the road.

    • @Lets-rideUk
      @Lets-rideUk  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Going around the square bumps is no problem - left side if there's oncoming traffic otherwise it doesn't matter which side. 👍

    What's the issue with blocking someones driveway?

    • @Lets-rideUk
      @Lets-rideUk  ปีที่แล้ว

      You're stopping as if you're going to park the bike. 👍

      @juliabicker8686 Obviously, my question was in the context of a motorbike stopping during a practical test. How about answering 'Why do people not use their driveways?' Cheers. The answer isn't 'It's being blocked by a motorcycle' by the way...
