    I'm astounded by the effects of eating liver. Symptoms of depression, anxiety and low energy lifted almost immediately. I think completely differently. The answer was under my nose all the time. I wonder how many people have killed themselves and gone to their graves without knowing about this. Suffering unnecessarily and blaming things outside of themselves for their internal misery.

    You can do 'very tiny pieces' in the air fryer, cross from all sides and then use garlic sauce.

      Oooooo that actually sounds really good. The only other time I have enjoyed it cooked (other than pate) is when I would cook in bacon grease and put a ton of garlic, oregano, and onion powder on it.

    I actually really like the taste of liver and I enjoy it. I love the texture. I do cook it myself. Just quickly fry it. I like it slightly undercooked, similar to a medium steak. It's great. Is once a week a good amount?

      Yeah liver can cause die off reactions for a lot of people. Building up slowly is definitely the way to go. Over time as you work on detox it does get better - I have heard that from many people.

    It would help with hormonal acne correct? And do I still need a separate Vitamin D and K2 or it is not necessary? Thank you so much! 🙏🏽☺️🎀

      I believe it would help hormonal acne over time. There are lots of other things I would try too. Check out Well Belly Clinic - Elyse Comerford on Instagram - she talks a lot about healing hormones. I personally don't take single vitamin supplements because I think you need the cofactors to absorb nutrients so vitamins are best received through food. I take cod liver oil for vitamin D! and lots of raw dairy for K.

    How does it affect the acidity of the body and the PH balance? Alkalinity is very important against inflammation.

    • @wholenesscampaign
      @wholenesscampaign  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      That is an interesting question. I am going to look into that. I think broadly speaking most people believe that meat in general is more acidic. I actually have not dug into this but I know it is important to people who are dealing with cancer. I am not quite sure how much this matters against its amazing benefits but I will ask someone I know and get back to you if I hear back!

    • @cassclare

      Your stomach and your blood are maintained at a very specific acidity. So for example if you drink ' alkaline' water.. it doesnt matter.. because it will go into your extremely acidic stomach. Sane with your blood ( it is always wthin a specific range)
      Lemons are acidic... but they are a health food...
      Aldo all protein ( amino ACIDS) are acidic..... and they are healthy.

    I have been looking for information on how many beef liver capsules I can take daily. I have been using the ancestral supplements for about 3 months I think, I'm on my third bottle. I started with just 6 as the bottle suggested, on this 3rd bottle I have increased to 8. I have noticed various benefits and one of them is energy and an increase in endurance regarding my time in the gym
    I discovered beef liver from some of the old school body builder pages. That's my main interest in using them and I use nothing else except a protein powder.. The articles I've seen say the old school guys took these things by the boat load... Meaning lots.
    I'm going to probably increase to 10 on my next bottle and see what happens.
    Do you have any suggestions about how many to use or do you have any information and anyone using alot of them ?
    These ones are 500 mg per capsule and I take 8 .. so that's 4,000 mg , is that like eating a large piece of liver each day ?
    Since this is just liver that's dried and crushed, then there shouldn't be anything wrong with eating a large piece of liver each day correct ? Wouldn't it be similar to eating a large steak every night ?
    Anyway.... What's your opinion on the maximum amount a weight lifting person should take ?

    • @wholenesscampaign
      @wholenesscampaign  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      What a great question! So Dr. Natasha recommends taking liver the size of the surface of your hand DAILY. I don't even know how many oz that would be. Personally I aim for 1 oz minimum daily but I try for 2-3. I personally believe you can take as much as your body wants so keep going and see how good you can feel. Dr. Becky Plotner told my husband who is recovering from thyroid dysfunction that he should take 26 of the ancestral pills per day!!! There are B vitamins in liver that are crucial to thyroid function. So I would say as much as you can afford. The reason we take raw now is because it is cheaper. I honestly think as much as possible. Yes especially if you are weight lifting liver is great protein and overall nourishment. Hope that helps!

    Zinc is more important than you think

    • @wholenesscampaign
      @wholenesscampaign  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Zinc is definitely important. In fact, if you take a Zinc supplement like I do you want to make sure you have adequate copper amounts because imbalance of zinc and copper and common and unhealthy. Liver is high in copper so between the two I feel really good. Just sharing my experience.

    I would much rather seek out a plant-base alternative. Have you even given a nanosecond of thought to how much suffering happens to bring this liver to your mouth? If you had the courage to watch the life cycle IN PERSON of what these poor creatures endure, ( and assuming you 'had a heart') I can only hope you'd choose plant-based healing.

      :) Judging by your profile you are an animal lover. I completely get that. I truly believe when you treat animals humanely, it is not a harmful thing for humans to eat meat and it is in fact necessary to get all your nutritional needs met. If you don't have any chronic issues, carry on using plants but a simple google search will tell you that plants have far less bioavailable nutrients. I will be honest with you - plants are great for detox but they are not good for nourishment. Therefore plant-based healing does not work in the long run. People run out of nourishment. If/when you hit that point - please come back, I am happy to help you.
