Howdy. I finally got an answer about our hands going numb. Carpel tunnel syndrome 😢. I find cruse control helps on the highway and I get maybe 20 minutes off road before I go numb. I'm not sure if surgery will help. Best of luck

Sorry it’s not something more simple to fix for you. On the bright side, everyone I know who’s had carpel tunnel surgery has had good results.
My issue isn’t carpel tunnel syndrome. I had a nerve study done and there were no signs of it. It’s most likely an issue in my neck, which isn’t fun. I had one disc fused thirteen years ago and the surgeon told me I’d probably need a second one fused eventually.

As soon as I saw those gloves, you had my attention. Why?
Because I bought my first motorcycle this past summer. This is my first cool (cold, for what that means down here in Alabama) and I bought a pair of the same kind of gloves. I tried them yesterday, riding my motorcycle on the highway for the first time, my first ever commute to work.
What sort of temperature range were you wearing these in?
I think we have similarly shaped hands, though I'm usually an either-or medium-large, and the fingers on these were just long enough for the touch screen portion to be sloppy on the screen and not so useful for me.
I am impressed by their having an actual palm slider, as that's usually absent, if not made of soft, grippy material, on budget gloves.
I look forward to a follow-up video; the reviews I read say they're generally wind-proof, ok for insulation, but definitely waterproof. I generally like what I've tried from Kemimoto, and I know they take feedback seriously to improve their products while keeping them budget-friendly.

Thanks for the comment! It was mid 40’s at the end of my ride, so definitely not super cold. And yeah, my fingertip wasn’t touching the screen on my phone either, because of my short fingers. It’s fine for me though. Usually when I’m out on my bike, I’m not doing anything with my touch devices that needs a lot of precision. If I needed to write a text or something, I’d take the gloves off. I agree on Kemimoto products. I’ve been very impressed with their windshield extender, and I know they changed the hardware on that from plastic to aluminum after customer feedback. They sent me another product to review, and I found some problems with it, so they pulled it off of Amazon while they address it. Very cool to see.

Update on the gloves in the cold?

I've still been liking them a lot. I wouldn't say they're impervious to cold by any means, but they continue to keep my hands at least as warm as my ski gloves did, and probably more. The hard plastic knuckles seem to help with the wind as well. I recently added heated grips to my KTM (already had them on my Honda) and the combination of heated grips and these gloves has been great for me when it gets very cold.
