    Famous last words: "There are instructions, but you don't really need them".

    I have had 2 bolt on MRA X-creens on 2 BMW GS. They both were flawless , easy to adjust, worked well. This is my 3rd gs. I tried a Puig, it vibrated. The pivot points allowed slack, and could not be tightened. The Puig was garbage, so I threw it in my spare parts bin. I ordered this and am optimistic.

    Mine is arriving tomorrow. What triggered me is that my cell phone (for navigation) in it's upper RAM mount position above my TFT bike screen ('23 KTM Adventure) sits right in the wind -- and rain, and dirt, and bugs. But I'm really looking forward to less wind on me, too. Thanks!

    Those screws are called grub screws. Basically no head and just threads with a hex head (allen head) in one end.

    Can you turn the spoiler up side down (I want it low) or are the the holes not sitting in line?

      Just eying them, they seem lined up. It might be possible to flip it, but I’ve never tried.

    You didn’t mention it but do the two brackets interfere with the view in any way on the first bike ?

      If you're looking through the windshield, they're definitely in your line of sight. I never notice them though. I use this mainly for street riding, and with that type of riding my focus is above the windshield altogether. It might be more of an issue if you had this on while doing slow, technical stuff where you're looking at the ground more immediately in front of you.

    Wondering, have you tried this on your 300 Rally and how does it fit? Thanks

    Mine came in the mail, and the clarity is horrible. How did yours look?

    • @HighDesertHills
      @HighDesertHills  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I honestly haven’t noticed the clarity much one way or the other because I mainly use this for street riding, where my eyes are focused above the windscreen entirely.

    Thank you for your excellent down to earth video review. I have real issues with wind noise (but not buffeting) when riding my 2021 Honda CB500X - even after having replaced the stock screen with a much taller screen. I've also been using mouldered ear plugs but they are a hassle to fit and remove every time I ride and also cause ear soreness.
    I do as much 110 - 120 km/hour highway riding as well as quite a bit of low speed non technical off road riding on gravel where you need to look down immediately ahead. The perceived advantage of this screen over others is that it appears to be easily adjustable for both (all!) scenarios. It will be interesting to see how securely attached it remains when riding on corrugated gravel. Another perceived advantage is that the clamps are on the sides and not in the middle as is the case with many other types of screen extensions - right in the line of sight and not as securely attached.
    So, on the basis of your review I've just ordered the kemimoto in the hope that it will solve the noise problem. We shall see ....🦘

      I hope it helps! Wind noise at those speeds is hard to fix - unless you’re riding a Goldwing.
      This screen helped a lot with noise at those speeds, but didn’t cure it. I just got a Shoei RF-1400 helmet. Very expensive, but it’s very quiet compared to every other helmet I’ve owned.
