I have been using the Surface Pros since 2015. I currently have a 9. As a software developer, I feel that this laptop is a must.
I'm also looking at this to replace a Surface.
I’m interested in if the panels are both input and output because if they are both then it only adds to the crazy customization and set up you can have for workflows. Mainly streaming and content creation management.

Since it knows when the keyboard is there when resting on the screen. It should definitely add an alarm/warning if you try to close the screen pass a certain angle

When using the widgets with the keyboard on the bottom portion of the screen, to the top right of the news widget there is actually an X button, and if you click it, it closes the widgets and allows you to use it as a half screen, very similar to the Zenbook Duo.
My ASUS Zenbook Dou died. This is my upgrade
@@kurtl23 , I also use Zenbook Duo Pro 14 OLED too. If Lenovo Yoga Book 9i can have Nvidia RTX then I will upgrade to Lenovo hahaha😂

Actually this is very nice❤… I am a professional working in MNC and i think having 2 screens is easy to browse and do multitasking in 2 seprate screen / windows at a same time . I love the idea… I just purchased Apple Macbook last month and i am thinking if i could have gone for this!

Amazing review. I didn't see if you can expand an application into both screens. On my Duo 2 i like using Kindle like a book, with one page on each screen. I've wondered if i can do this here, and also, if i want, can i watch a video across both screens, albeit with a speaker cutting through the middle.
I've seen this device reviewed by some of the top TY tech reviewers...this was hands down the most informative.

I wonder if you could play games in kinda a "splitscreen" environment, where each player has their own screen but on the same device. Would really be a cool feature imo.

I'm excited to hear from any day traders out there who may have invested in this. That's what I'm going to spend some time thinking about. Having this option instead of continuing with 2 stand-alone monitors.

I’m not a big user of the touchpad and prefer to use a mouse, I’m glad you can put the keyboard on the bottom. Every laptop has a touchpad and I have to reach over it to the keyboard.

Matte screen protector on both of those screens will solve your issues with fingerprints and finger "stickiness" on the screen when using the trackpad

You should have connected some external monitors. 4 screens would be very useful for working on the go.

1. Could I run a monitor from this? If so, is it VGA, USB or HDMI ?
2. I’m not sure if you’ve heard of a virtual music console named the LV1 Waves system… If not, please TH-cam it, it uses a two screen monitor that quite expensive and too big! But this little piece would be perfect and has huge potential!!
Lastly: Does it come with an SSD or Harddrive and what size?

This is really amazing I think the best improvement they can make over this is making those Asus external GPU's a real thing for the future for all these innovative laptops. Or making a version of laptops that have that port that supports external GPU's. I really think these brands need to put that external gpu port as an option on their laptops that can definitely be the future and laptops can be used for at least several more years.
Asus just anounced something similar will be announced in 2 weeks (CES), if has meteor lake, the GPU will be hugely bumped up
Tim, that special laptop will be available in September. Stops becoming special when Lenovo gives you the run aound.
Ordered the 1TB on 6/16 with an estimated delivery of 6/23-6/28. A few days later, estimated delivery was 8/10. So, I called, and heard the same story about it being a "customized" product. I was assured they'd expedite, and that the date would be moved up and then not change again. It went to 8/02. Checked yesterday, and it was 9/06. So, I called and was assured that they'd expedite, and that the date would change again to something sooner. Now the date is 9/26. I wonder how many other people are experiencing the same runaround...
I just called to inquire about my order that I placed on Jun 30th and they told me the "custom order" spiel and said it will ship July 27. You can no longer find it on Lenovo's website and even Best Buy who were taking pre-orders has stopped. The sales agent told me that it has been discontinued but that I will still be receiving my unit.

Don’t often comment on videos… But this laptop should be a game changer… Yes, Apple durability and performance it’s un-parallel yet. The moment I see some close performance to apples silicones chips… I’ll be jumping on this right away! This is fun and practical… I bought a second screen, does the job but another device… This does it all in one, I feel like I got fomo. PS: I haven’t even finished the video and I’m already amazed!

nice. another interesting idea is that if you are able to convert it to side by side horizontal dual monitor then it would be really great. I think this is possible if they redesign the hinge

Far better! Samsung only one of the leaders in rhe smartphone and tablet Spaces. Lenovo hit them out of the park in the laptop space!
This hardware is just too cool. I love it. I don't think I can really justify the price and I'm not sure how practical it would be in real life for me. If you are a travelling consultant then I think it's going to be very good. But if you (like me) use your laptop at work, home and during your commute then I think it is less than ideal.
At home and work I have docks, so the only undocked use there is in office meetings, and I don't think it is better than a laptop for that. On a train I think it will be nice and compact to use but too cumbersome to set up with the separate keyboard - and I don't think I'd like the touch keyboard. Even when I travel to different offices there are almost always USB-C docks.
But I still want one 😁

I got mine today. One thing that is incredibly annoying is that the rotation sensor is way too touchy. I want to kick back on the bed and use it in portrait mode but it keeps flipping into landscape at the least provocation. This is a deal breaker for me if I can't fix it. Lenovo has disabled the rotation lock and if you force it to rotate in screen settings, only 1 screen responds and it warns you not to. Hmmmmmm. The quick notes and screenshot features needed a software update to work and there is a widget on screen I can't seem to get rid of. Very early software methinks.

I have one question: at the beginning of the video, you hold the laptop on weight for a while. Tell me, is it very difficult to keep it like that?
I work as an online teacher (tutor), I often keep the tablet on weight while working and I have always dreamed of a tablet with two screens. Now I have a regular tablet and it weighs about 0.5 kg. And this dream laptop weighs almost 1.5 kg!

My only issue with Lenovo is that their hardware is too glitchy and faulty and a lot of issues occur down the road. It's happened every single time I purchased something of theirs.

I'm not even sure what I'd ever use a dual screen for, but I love the look of this hardware. I wish Lenovo would come out with a ChromeOS version of this.
Anyone with a real job knows exactly how to use this lap. For example, article open on one screen, taking notes on the other screen. Or analyzing data on one screen, writing report on the other.
@@RK-um9tu Yes, thank you for that insight. I'm fully aware of the uses that other people might have, but I'm just saying I wouldn't have any use for it personally. But I just love the design of it and would buy it purely for the cool factor alone.
You can play a video game in one screen an look up information on the game finding items an stuff, esp for streamers, playin an recording, personally I like to watch movies while playing lol

When this isn't plugged in, I wonder what the battery life is like if it only last a few hours or can last all day. Major game changer for me since I do photo editing and I could use this to edit photos while simultaneously watching a movie
This will most certainly NOT last all day... with 2 screens, I'd say 2-3 hours max. Totally pulling this estimation out of my behind, based on my personal experience with laptops in general...
