MBS is a dictator and history shows time and time again, that dictators never last and eventually are overthrown or have to flee if in the end, that is still possible. If I were the GPDA, I would get all drivers to swear once in protest, and then see what happens. And if necessary, boycott a race to show their contempt for MBS. Make it a case of it's either him or us. They may be forced to drive in countries where democracy is still an illusion, but they should not put up with being part of an organisation that is controlled by a dictator, who as all dictators do, doesn't allow any form of scrutiny and thinks he can make his own laws or thinks he is above and beyond normal law practices.

I'm interested to know how this is legal from a pure judicial perspective. Not even corporations have this kind of mandate over their employees, so I don't see how a sporting organ can have it over those not even their employees to begin with. I agree with most of your takes on FIA and MBS, it's a clownshow. However, saying drivers need a vote is silly. Football players don't have a vote on FIFA. Not on the president, not on the rules. Motorsport and FIA is exactly the same thing. As it should be. FIA is the ref and should be impartial.

This is unreal. All television today has some swear words. The penalties put forth are going to cause the championship to be one by a driver that does not often swear. I can think of a few only that would not swear in a press conference. I can see this season to end up with a driver walk out just before the Australian GP. Very sad indeed for F1 fans.

MBS is out of control. Never have I seen such an overreach by an individual in terms of an organization. @Cameron, can you please mention the cultural aspect of the expletive language by some drivers. Max Verstappen is Dutch. English is not his mother tongue. And most importantly: in The Netherlands it is ok to swear in many situations. Did you know that nobody blinks when you drop an F-bomb on live television? Bleeping isn’t a thing over here. I remember Dutch F1 commentator Olav Mol swearing with F-bombs when Max got his first win even. So it is just part of everyday colorful conversation. (Just like the head butting comment he made a few years back). The FIA is led by an Arab with a cultural background that is so different… you should mention all of this in your next video Cameron. It’s an overlooked aspect in this whole story… but I digress…
