I have the WMC30516HZ (built in, with trim kit like yours) and looked everywhere for a microwave that would fit in the cavity within my cabinets, but continued to run into the issue of the depth of the cavity being 18". I have been told by several people that microwaves are getting bigger and the ones that are built-in need more depth than that. I was at a loss until I came across your video. I just purchased a Panasonic NN-SC73LS from Home Depot, am going to install it tonight with the old trim kit from the Whirlpool model WMC30516HZ, just like your video. If it does I'm going to buy an extra Panasonic NN-SC73LS so I don't run into this issue again in 8-10 years! Thank you for the video, even if it doesn't work out.
@@josephbrott8045 hope it works
Is it easy to put a rear rack on the Wabash RT?
With 36 volt battery your results are ridiculous. Your numbers are phony. I am 200 lbs and this bike can only take me around for not more than 8 miles
@@sarkisseywaz2127 I appreciate the feedback. My results were understated in order to avoid overestimating the bikes ability. 8 miles of range at the highest setting is ludicrous. If your bike is truly only going that far. I recommend replacing it while you still can. My dog could ride this bike further than that on 50% battery. 🤣
Thanks for the update. I've put 500 miles on mine, as well. I'm looking at getting a brake job, too, because I have similar issues. Otherwise, it rides like new and hasn't lost any battery as far as I can tell.
@@peterh6435 awesome! Let us know what brakes you end up going with.
Thanks for the video. Greatly appreciated.
@@frankducett9 stay tuned have some new content for this bike coming!
It sounds like it's a battery. Tightness issue ... I just bought the Wabash rt and was planning on commuting in the rain, but I don't know if I should. Is it raided for rain?
@@guyl7835 I’m 80% certain that it was me taking it on a slightly aggressive xc mtb trail prior to that day that made the battery come dislodged. I’ve been riding it since on the road without issue. Not yet in the rain again though.
@@guyl7835 if you are worried, a set of fenders might helps.
How do i get the bike going? Im peddling and it doesn’t seem to be working
@@chesse6245 you have to first turn it on (press and hold the on button), then push the plus sign to increase assist level. Hope this helps.
I noticed my Crosscore RC slips some of the high gears every now and then under load as it happened to you in this video... Is it still happening to you? its not the end of the world but I do want to fix it.
@@TheLegendStrike it doesn’t happen to me as often as it did in the beginning. I noticed I do the same sometimes on my specialized sirrus x. For me I think it’s a combination of shifting and putting power in too soon. I haven’t found time to check the adjustment screw because the bikes rides just fine in 95% of my riding. Will do my best to check it in the coming month.
PPanasonic NN-SC73LS is a counter top model with restriction on the space around it. Would it work okay as built in with those restrictions?
I didn’t show it in the video but there is quite a bit of extra space around it. Also, the model I replaced was the same type of counter top microwave.
You should be preloading the cap before you tighten the stem to the post. Yamaha lists 2.5 Nm in the manual. This ensures the bearings in your headset operate properly. The stem bolts should then all be 6 Nm.
@@bradleywalker4075 thanks for the info. TBH I don’t have a torque wrench. I’ve been using my internal torque wrench my whole life. 😅 It’s not always right either. 😆
I got the same error and have been struggling with it. And indeed it is battery loose connection. I have installed padding inside. I have given it to dealer nd they said it fixed it. I am hoping to get it back. I ride hard on trial and I think you too do as well. All the best!!
@@mirknight1 yes, I think this could be the issue. I did ride it on a xc mtb trail the weekend before I did this video. It is possible that it jostled loose on that ride and didn’t quite lose connection until my normal road ride I did in the wet. I am investigating it, the good news is that I have been riding after it dried for a day with seemingly no further issues. I did open the battery tray and remove/reinstall the battery just in case. I think a thicker strap (maybe rubber) around the down tube and some extra padding inside the battery compartment might help. I’ve read on the giant emtb forums that the battery connector part can be adjusted for a tighter fit. I don’t know if that is possible with this system.
Not sure if the battery pack can be adjusted. I have got my bike back from the dealership. It's been a month and no more errors. I have installed padding inside(furniture floor pads). Hope it doesn't come back again. But definitely, this is a design issue.
@ where did you install the padding? I pulled and placed my battery back in and it seems to be fine. I’ve only been on hard pack since then though.
When they say it's an electric bike how do you make it into an electric bike where you don't have to pedal it no more
@@ChrisM-hw9yy this bike does not have a throttle. You have to pedal to engage the assist. If you press and hold the + button you can engage auto mode which is as close as you can probably get to what you want with this bike.
I've got the Wabash RT and it's a great bike as an All Road bike for riding multiple terrains, including gravel roads. My rides are between 25 and 75 miles so the aluminum fork is too stiff for a long day on the Gravel Roads. I'm interested in adding a suspension fork to Wabash RT. Can you elaborate on the compatibility of the fork/headset between the Wabash RT and Crosscore RC. Thanks for the comparison.
@@petefigueredo1964 I don’t think the Crosscore RC fork would work on a Wabash RT. I think I it would be too short to accommodate the wheel size difference and the wheel axles are different. I haven’t tested this though. Let us know if you do a conversion. Would be cool to see.
@@InfiniteMishaps I’m trying to determine the steerer tube size for the Wabash RT. I know the steerer tube size for the Crosscore RC is a Standard tapered 1 1/8 to 1 1/2. Because one of the local shops replaced the Crosscore RC suspension fork with another fork to covert the bike into a XC MTB. But the Wabash RT fork is Yamaha proprietary.
Thanks for the videos I'm going to buy myself a Concord commuter
@@stevenahlberg1542 hope you enjoy it
I am a single Mom hoping I can do this by myself! My Whirlpool WMC30516AS died and I just bought the Panasonic NN-SC73LS to replace. I am a little worried because I'm not very "handy" and the Panasonic says it's a countertop and not a built-in? (It isn't returnable either!) It gets here tomorrow - wish me luck and thank you so much for posting this video and helping an old lady out!
@@jessicalnicholas good luck. It’s pretty easy compared to other appliances I’ve done before. Both the model I replaced and the model I replaced it with are considered countertop models.
Please keep us updated on this issue. I have a Wabash RT I am just not riding it until I lose some more weight
Will do!
@InfiniteMishaps thank you
I got this from Google Error 71comes up On a Yamaha e-bike, error code 71 typically indicates a problem with the battery connection or stability, often caused by the battery moving too much within its mount, leading to a temporary loss of power or connection during riding; this is a common issue on Haibike e-bikes which often use Yamaha motors, and can usually be resolved by securing the battery more firmly in its mount with additional padding or adjusting the battery lock mechanism. Key points about error code 71: Battery related: This error is almost always related to the battery, either a loose connection or movement within the frame. Check battery mounting: Inspect the battery mounting system for looseness or potential for movement, especially on bumpy terrain. Secure the battery: Try adding padding or adjusting the battery lock mechanism to prevent movement. What to do if you see error code 71: Check battery connections: Ensure the battery is properly connected to the bike. Tighten battery mounting screws: Check and tighten all screws securing the battery to the frame. Add padding: Consider adding foam padding around the battery to prevent movement. Contact your dealer: If adjusting the battery mount does not resolve the issue, consult your bike dealer for further assistance.
Thanks a million. I will go check it and let you know if I find it loose in the tray.

What brand of face mask is that?

The Cross Core RC's front chainring is 44T, but this is not suitable for tough hills. Battery drain is also high. Given the bike's characteristics, 36T is best as it is more like a gravel bike.

@@InfiniteMishaps I'm near Fort Lauderdale. I used for 7 months in 2022 and a 3 times since then. It has 1,300 miles and I fell once on it so the seat, derailleur, pedal and handlebar stuff on the right side has some road rash. What phone app are you running? Are you aware of any way to add-on to or upgrade bike computer/controller to conect to garmin? Or to the esync app? Moro 5 has a different computer that connect via bluetooth/ant+ and its really nice. You get battery level and range in addition to other data.
@@michaelhagan4654 I use my Apple Watch and send it to Strava afterwards. I’m not aware of ant+ working on the Yamaha bikes. Tbh I’ve never used ant+ on anything but a stationary bike and that was with my wahoo chest strap.
Have you found a solution to that fork creaking noise? My Wabash has started to develop a similar sound. Many others have mentioned it and there is a range of suggested solutions including re-greasing the fork/headset bearings. Great vids!
@@soyogen22 I just kept riding it. I don’t notice much, but I’m also not listening for it. I put in headphones and ride. I have noticed my crosscore doing it worse. I’m pretty certain it’s the handlebar/stem mount. I keep meaning to grease it, but I forget between rides.
Why would they put thinner tires on a gravel bike? Im glad i got the crosscore instead of the wabash. While i was waiting for my crosscore to show up i bought a deepower fat tire dual battery 55ah 48v dual shock and a 2k watt motor for 1120 shipped from ali express. Its suppose to have LG batteries. I purchased this bike after watching your videos on it. Thanks
@@IrishGrad51 glad to hear, hope you like it.
You are lucky it was that easy. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the 2.2 Cu Ft microwaves. I have a KitchenAid (which is a brand of Whirlpool) KMCS3022GSS microwave with a similar trim kit as in the video. The turntable didn't work and some of the digit segments on the display don't light up. I bought a Panasonic NN-SN97HS microwave attempting to replace it. What I found is that the height of the Panasonic was about a 1/4" too tall so it wouldn't fit through the trim piece opening. The feet on the bottom of the Panasonic were spread a bit wider than the Kitchenaid. Faced with either trying to somehow modify the existing trim kit or spend an additional $240+ for a Panasonic trim kit (about 50% more than the price of the microwave itself) and still having to modify the cabinet opening to use it, I decided to see if I could fix the KitchenAid. I ended up getting a replacement turntable motor (about $13 on Amazon) which fixed the turntable, and we will live with the display as I didn't see anything simple to solve that short of replacing the control panel which would have cost over $100 if I could even find a good source. Looking online it seems that even Similarly sized Whirlpool / KitchenAid microwaves available now are taller than mine and use a different trim kit. The Panasonic is being returned to Costco.
@@berts4877 sounds like I got really lucky 🍀. Hope you are able to get it figured out over time.

@@ShazamAli-y2v according to the hyper website it has a torque sensor. I loved that bike, wish I still had it. It was a joy to ride every time I got on it. Not fast or agile but a smooth fun ride it was. Only thing to know is the stock seat is like sitting on a brick. 🧱 😅
@InfiniteMishaps Many thanks for getting back to me. I'm not sure if you mentioned it in a follow-up video, but why did you get rid of it?

After 175 miles I can say that level 1 pas works very well for my style of riding, helping to make the trip feel as level as possible. I avg 10 mph and am not a power rider, rather I am in the game for exercise and exploration and this bike helps me get a nice workout without causing too much stress on my heart, one that has been vegging in the lazy-boy for too many years. I do use the higher modes, especially on the way home from more daring excursions, and find auto mode to be very flexible and easy to control depending upon the type of pedaling one uses. The front leaning rest position took a bit to get used to, but now I prefer it and feel it to be a powerful angle for "digging in" and transferring muscle power to the wheel. Battery life is amazing and power delivery is smooth and predictable. I love the bike and hope the spare battery shows up as advertised.
@@williamquick1326 thanks for the information. Glad you are liking it. I feel very much the same. I hardly use eco or higher, eco+ is plenty of power for me.
