I splurged and got the Moro 07 SE, Pro, and the Crosscore RC. Man, the Crosscore RC is very comfortable. I hit the maximum of 28mph on a straight the other day. It’s a great bike!
Right On! I am tempted by the 07 but haven't pulled the trigger. I really like both the Crosscore and the Wabash for different types of riding though. The Wabash just rolls so fast.
I pulled the trigger and purchased a crosscore and moro 05. Two great bikes. The Moro just carves up a hill great center of gravity. I am looking forward to some long afternoon rides once my schedule opens up. I still feel a bit guilty but these bikes are getting me up and out each day.
I've got the Wabash RT and it's a great bike as an All Road bike for riding multiple terrains, including gravel roads. My rides are between 25 and 75 miles so the aluminum fork is too stiff for a long day on the Gravel Roads. I'm interested in adding a suspension fork to Wabash RT. Can you elaborate on the compatibility of the fork/headset between the Wabash RT and Crosscore RC. Thanks for the comparison.
@@petefigueredo1964 I don’t think the Crosscore RC fork would work on a Wabash RT. I think I it would be too short to accommodate the wheel size difference and the wheel axles are different. I haven’t tested this though. Let us know if you do a conversion. Would be cool to see.
@@InfiniteMishaps I’m trying to determine the steerer tube size for the Wabash RT. I know the steerer tube size for the Crosscore RC is a Standard tapered 1 1/8 to 1 1/2. Because one of the local shops replaced the Crosscore RC suspension fork with another fork to covert the bike into a XC MTB. But the Wabash RT fork is Yamaha proprietary.
Buying probably the Croscore for my wife. She's fit 5'3", and can pedal her roadbike 18-20mph for 20+ miles. I thought the Wabash would be fine maybe better for her, but there are no smalls left at the clearance price. Can still find Crosscores in small, so we'll be buying one soon.
@@InfiniteMishaps We borrowed a medium Wabash and we'll put 50-100 miles on it to see if she likes it. Local dealer has one small Wabash coming in, and we'll let them know which bike next week.
@@InfiniteMishaps She really liked the Wabash. I think were going to bit the bullet and buy both in small for her and a large Crosscore for me. We're going to start snow birding, and it'd be nice to leave a set of bikes in the south.
Did u get the free battery ? I just bought the crosscore rc from ebikes508 it was 1400 plus 350 to ship. Wasnt too sure what to buy this or another brand with a Bosh motor and Samsung batteries. Wanted a light bike with clean lines.
Best resource on Yamaha e-bikes by far. Appreciate you.
Thanks!

@ did you get it from Yamaha before they sold off the leftovers? I see sold out online.
You guys in the US lucked out with the crazy Yamaha sale, well done they seem to be wonderful bikes and excellent value.
@@marcellocapone4925 great bikes for the price. I think I may have found a new favorite in my specialized turbo tero 3.0 though.

I like the Crosscore more for every day riding and the Wabash more for faster days.

Is it easy to put a rear rack on the Wabash RT?

I applied for it through the dealership I got it from. Waiting to see if it does come through. I have my doubts.
great comments again...here's two thumbs up!!
I appreciate that!
good review, how does the acceleration feel?
@@ax2643 it builds up powerfuly, but slowly. Think the opposite of a jerky over powered rear hub e-bike.
@@ax2643 the wabash feels like it accelerates faster, but it may just be the riding position.
I have a question with Crosscore RC, what gear do you use to hit over 28mph? I pickup my Crosscore RC this month and barely can go over 20mph
I can do it in 8th and 9th. I do have to put the effort in though depending on wind and terrain.
