I played Genshin on release and all the way up to the first major update which was the ice mountain at the time and what really broke was just how tedious the game felt to do anything and how lacking it felt to even do gacha rolls. Like, didnt feel like I got my worth from the amount of tike I invested into it. The combat didn't feel as fast or exciting as I wanted it to be either, most excitement combat wise I had at time was Qiqi and thats saying something... Same with Star Rail, was super hyped and played on launch and it quickly was burning me out with not only the lack of content but the amount of investment needed for a decent character. Like I returned to the game a few days ago for 2 hrs and in that 2 hour span I spent close to 1-1200 stamina just levelling a single character to 80. Plus the combat is slow and dragging on. ZZZ was weird. On launch it didn't really pull me in and I'm not sure why. I hit Chapter 1 interlude and pretty much dropped it. I came back when I saw that we finally got Miyabi and holy shit has the experience been wild. Not only have I gotten so much from my pulls and grinds but the entire Story and Grinding experience is just different. Combat is fast paced and quick so the grinding to get your characters up in gear early on is so nice (a little grindy once you get to 41+, but that's a given). There's also the stupid amount of content that just falls onto your lap from side quests (the amount of blue side quests is ridiculous 😂) to other type of combat sources such as Lost Void or Battle Simulation. My return to this game has been so refreshing and fun and I've pumped a ridiculous amount of time into the game already to get caught up on Story. I really love this game and I hope the ZZZ devs just keep doing their thing with it. Stay away from Star Rail or Genshin unless it's a QoL thing that would fit.

What’s this doom and gloom bullshit video . The game did 56m last month , 2nd biggest gacha in the world in terms of revenue more than genshin AND HSR.. like man it’s not 1.1 anymore . Stop crying the game is a success and doing better than 99% of gachas . Wuwa isn’t even top 20 lol

I prefer Astra over Evelyn on the waifu chart anyways. At least, in terms of the two limited units and who I'd pull for. But I'm a Qingyi enjoyer all the way and plan to pull her Wengine (not the best move, but I'd rather get that first), and pull another copy for her if my polychrome reserves are still enough. Hopefully I don't lose the 50/50 like I did the first time with Qingyi.

I, as a F2P, am going to be absolutely NOSE TO THE GRINDSTONE so that I even have a hope of getting all of them... may the gacha gods bless me. Why all of them? Because I'm indecisive, that's why. I need Qingyi for a Harumasa team, I joined in 1.4, just generally love Ellen as a character, AND have been putting a lot of energy into a Victoria Housekeeping team, and I think Evelyn and Astra would be a solid team if used correctly. As stated previously, I joined in 1.4, so the 32-day banner duration is my only point of reference and I'm really hoping I don't have to double time it to be able to pull both characters.

A deeper shop mgmt system would be really cool. The Bangboo Fall Guys and the fishing minigames that they just showed off might be cool for chilling.

It is crazy how I didn't spend a dime on this game and got all the charcters that I wanted 😁I just skip the ones I don't want and save for months. There is no point in trying to get characters you don't want.

Any pull advice/recommendations? I like Burnice, Miyabi, Harumasa, and Caesar, and I already have Miyabi and Harumasa. I run a team with Miyabi, Anby, and Harumasa currently, which I really like, and the person who introduced me to the team, who claims it's the strongest team in the game at this point in time (evidence given: it's the only team that can beat the hardest boss in the game in one cycle at M0; I didn't check this), said Qingyi is BiS in that team. I plan on getting Yanagi because she pairs insanely well with Burnice, unless they release a character that works better. I want to make the characters I like as strong as they can be, including getting additional Agents, W-Engines, and Mindscapes to accomplish that. I will, however, remain completely F2P.

My plan is to try to win the 50/50 with Astra, and regardless of win or lose, go for Evelyn. Already have qingyi and I dont think Ellen is a good fit for my account

As an old gamer I can confirm, focusing only one live game is important. I'm at endgame in ZZZ, Genshin, Nikke and StarRail. It's possible but it's just became an addiction. You have to do certain missions every day because you feel like you've missed out. I eventually drop most of them and choose one that I enjoy more. That's ZZZ. Never feel better (about gaming at least) LOL

Spending at most 4 hours a week to do daily, weekly and events is comfortable amount time investment. While genshin is just a time sink side quest can last hours and be extremely boring while ZZZ I can skip the boring dialogue. ZZZ being a low time investment game is great. ZZZ's 1.4 patch is the best patch so far in ZZZ.

I grinded hard to get Ellen when the game launched, but she's basically obsolete now that I have Miyabi, so I'm not seeing a reason to pull more on her re-run, especially when I need another Either agent and my damage output on Fire/Physical teams is lacking. Ellen carried the interest up to this point for me, but Caesar, Yanagi and Miyabi have got it from here. Guess I'll be adding Astra to the list.

Yep, definitely pulling Astra. She's going to be bonkers for a lot of especially attack agents, Zhu Yuan and Evelyn come to mind first. Especially my M1 Zhu Yuan if I forego the stunner. I can still get free ammo refills due to Astra's chain attack initiation that doesn't require stun. It'll definitely be better than spending all day on Anby to get to the stun window when I can instead have ZY on field dealing more damage instead. Also hoping to get Evelyn, she seems strong and fun and I already have Lighter.

I wanna get Evelyn. She looks cool and has waifu power over me lmao. But hearing how good Astra is, I might just have to try to go for her after, if I get Evelyn.

I'm torn. I need Astra for a good Void support, I don't have one, I want Evelyn because I don't have a good fire DPS and I want Ellen because shark waifu. And I want Qinqyi

I really don’t want to miss anybody. I never got Ellen or Qinyi so pulling on 4 characters is fun. 😭 Ellen doesn’t really play very fun and I have Miyabi at mindscape 4 so… I dunno. The new characters aren’t that appealing to me? I’ll try them and decide when they create trials for them.

Yes pull for what you want not what you need you will never regret it, why? Meta will always change so the character you pull in meta will be over in months. Pulling character you want will bring you joy as a collection whenever the time passes whenever you comeback you will say it’s worth the pull.

If i got a character who is basically the closest thing we are gonna have to a devil may cry character best believe I'm going for the new character who can heal and buff her 😂

What they could potentially do is if they don’t do it an open world, they could do a sandbox style world where the levels themselves are very expansive kind of similar to Super Mario Galaxy, and Super Mario Galaxy2. That way they keep the linearity in order to keep it a bit more casual. I also think, adding the abilitiy to Jump and more versatility to traversing could help. Making a zone explorable and giving it some adventure and RPG elements, etc..

There's just too much running around and fast travel to satisfy the daily requirements in an open world game. ZZZ is fine.

Honestly I seriously dislike both Astra and Evelyn's design. They look like they would be more at home in HSR, and their designs don't seem to really pop out like the other characters do. I don't care about power creep, and enjoy the playstyle my current characters have, so I'm perfectly happy sticking with Nicole and Anby. I do need a fire DPS and stunner for an ice team. So basically I'm pulling for Ellen, Soldier 11 and Lycon.

For anyone pulling qingyi, i will caution one thing. Her playstyle is rough on your hands. Lots of button mashing and constant dodges. If you’re a phone player she is probably a very difficult curve for playing. She’s a great character and i love pairing her with caesar for the extra comfort of not having any interruptions in her combos. Which is something she is very vulnerable to if you miss a dodge. Should i go for astra or qinigyi for my zhu yuan team? I need to upgade nicole or anby but not sure which might be better, i can use qingyi also for harumasa right? Thank you

It's funny watching this because I remember people saying Lighter was less worth it if you have Qingyi because he's better for ice/fire and that she's more universal. Now people are saying she's not worth as much... I'm pretty sure they're running her because she's perfect for Harumasa, the free 5* everyone got. Probably something to cause people to delve into team building.

Do you think as the game goes on that they could come back and give Ellen a buff to keep up with newer characters?

Honestly this is the best Gacha out there imo. I wish there was more stuff for me to do in it daily because its combat is just so much fun The biggest issue I have is wanting damn near every character they release because they always seem so damn interesting and I would love to try them out in combat. The story is solid and interesting without getting convoluted like Genshin. So yeah... I'm happy they are listening and making changes but honestly confused why anyone would play a game like this if they don't like the combat. Its the core game mechanic. That like playing minecraft and saying you don't like the mining or building aspects. Like I said, its biggest flaw is me not being able play it more because of the stamina restrictions. If I could grind out damn near all of my characters and test out a bunch of fully built teams I would do it in a heartbeat.

As a new player I might just buy enough for all of them whilst I have the double bonus in shop and we have lots of freebies coming. I haven’t enjoyed a game so much since my early Genshin 4 years ago (PoE2 is great as well though).

I left the game at patch 1.1 I returned, stayed for a week and probably leave again. The character design is weird as hell and the story is just meh.

Honesetly, I tend to stop playing ZZZ because of the TV mode. So, I'm glad they got rid of it. I think a good casual type experience would be a horde mode type of playlist, if they don't have that already. Let players rip and tear through endless enemies while adding special augmentations or tasks that change up the gameplay. I used to play Horde mode in GoW and Halo a lot just to chill back in the day.

Listen I love Ice element too much to just not pull for Ellen and even though I have Miyabi it was Ellen that I wanted since launch. I'll test my luck and pull for both Ellen and Astra

I really want Evelyn but I do really need Astra.. because I'm F2P and i already have Miyabi for DPS + her W Engine.. my problem is I actually want Yanagi cuz I already have AlexandRina ( C1 ) so I will get Miyabi strongest COMP ( Miyabi, Yanagi, Rina ). please chat should I skip this banner wait for Yanagi rerun on patch 1.6 or pull Astra and skip Yanagi 1.6 rerun? Yanagi is good for if you only play 1 comp which means Miyabi but in some game modes, like LOST VOID or something i forgot, they will have some level where you must use 2 team so If i get Yanagi, my first team will be TOO OP but what about my 2nd team all d0gshit.. currently I just use Miyabi, Andy, Shokaku "F2p miyabi team" but if i get Astra i can build 2nd team with Nekomiya or Haruma "DPS" so on my2nd team Astra can buff either neko or haruma.. I'm in a middle of this 2 ( Solo team comp Miyabi ) or ( buffing my 2nd team )
